About: Each dog is different so I adapt to what the dog needs each time I look after them; a longer walk, some cuddles on the sofa before leaving them, some work on basic skills. The most important thing is the welfare and happiness of the dogs, followed by as many pictures and updates as you would like. I've worked with dogs of a range of breeds and sizes, previously volunteering at a dog shelter I am comfortable with slightly more difficult dogs. I have a playful nature and love to take out dogs who like to play fetch or tug-of-war. We have always had dogs in our lives and had our eldest pooch for 11yrs. I'm often walking and looking after friends and families pets and have a love for all dogs. Although I generally do walks and drop-ins, I can board dogs on request. At home we have open living room and access to kitchen and enclosed garden with grass. Water provided in all room and dogs are allowed to come onto the sofa for cuddles. There are two of us at home most days and we have a friendly dog ourselves. We generally do one long walk in the morning, a play in the park at lunch and/or a training session/walk in the evening. I work a shift pattern job so able to work walks and drop-in visits around my shifts. My dog loving partner works from home so between us we can cover most requirements for different dogs schedules. At home we have a contained garden, access to water in all rooms and a spare crate if required. Dogs are allowed on any of the multiple dog beds around the house or onto the sofa for a cuddle. We have a friendly dog to keep others company, she is nearly 3, loves to play and have a cuddle.

About: I have looked after and owned dogs for all my life, I love caring for them and know what they need. I also have experience with puppies as my dog had 6 puppies when I was a teenager so know how to care for them. I have pet sat for many friends, family and others so have lots of experience. I’m currently a student, but finish end of May so have a lot of free time over the summer. I am planning on getting a job after the summer but will be dance teaching so will only be out of the house for 3 hours maximum a day/more in the evenings. I make sure that I listen to what you need in your home and the usual routine that your pets have, making sure I stick to that and anything else you ask for. I am also happy to walk dogs for however long they need and stay/pop in whenever asked. I am really caring for dogs and as mentioned have lots of experience both with my and my families dogs and others.

About: Hi! I'm a huge dog lover and have spent the last 11 years raising and caring for my own pup who unfortunately passed from cancer at age 14 in February. She was my best friend and we did everything together (my photos are only a select few of the last year of her life). The time I had with her taught me so much - how to be patient, how to read her moods, and how much love and attention she really needed (and deserved of course). I first learned about the app Rover when my dog and I lived in Vancouver, Canada and I would have to travel without her sometimes. It was nerve wracking having to leave her in the hands of someone else (in a place we weren’t familiar with), especially as she had a lot of specific requirements that had to be followed (such as medication and diet). So I completely understand firsthand just how important it is to feel safe and reassured that the person looking after your pet is someone you can trust that has both yours and your pets best interest at heart. That’s why I treat every pet like I would my own, with the same love and attention and care that allows them to feel comfortable, relaxed and safe when they are at what I’d like to think of as a ‘home away from home’. Whether they need someone to take them on log walks, give copious amounts of belly rubs and cuddles, or just someone to hang out and keep them company - I understand each dog is just as unique as their needs. I have my own fully fenced and secure garden that they are free to roam in and out of at their own leisure (I can leave the door wide open for them if required). I am also more than happy to have them upstairs, on carpets or on the furniture/bed etc, especially if they need some extra snuggles 🥰 I work fully remote from my house as a Finance Manager and I am around 24/7. Pet care is a regular part of my routine, and I really enjoy it. My job also has flexible hours, so I can plan my day around feeding, walks, playtime, and anything else your pet needs. It keeps me active and brings a lot of joy to my otherwise rather mundane day (finance is not the most riveting of careers haha). If your pet is staying at my place, I make sure they have a cozy, safe space to settle in. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible - feeding, walks, playtime, and even little quirks like how they like to sleep or what toy they love most. I also make sure they get plenty of affection (if they want it!) and exercise. If I am looking after a pet in their home, I follow instructions closely to keep things familiar for your pet. I try to keep their routine the same so they feel comfortable while their family is away. I’m respectful of the home and keep everything clean and tidy. I also like to send photo or text updates so you know your pet is happy and in good hands. At the end of the day, I just want every pet I care for to feel safe, loved, and stress-free, and for you to feel at ease too.

“George went above & beyond when walking Kobe for the first time. He was on time, gave our boy a really good walk and helped to clean him on his return. Our relatives that were here when he came to walk our dog said George was lovely - friendly & professional. The walk was recorded on Rover and we were very impressed with the level of detail provided. Will definitely be using George again!”

About: I have two rescue dogs, both of whom I adopted with behavioural challenges, and are now well adjusted, happy dogs. This has given me 7 years valuable experience in building trust and using positive reinforcement. I understand that every pet is different and may need time, patience, and calm support. I’m confident with shy, reactive, or anxious dogs, and I offer a safe, loving environment tailored to their needs. I also provide regular updates to keep you reassured while you’re away. I am self-employed and mostly work from home, so am flexible on days and times. I walk my own dogs early in the morning and then am free to help you with yours. I don't offer dog-sitting services at home as yet, but am happy to to drop-ins at yours or walk your dog if you need help.

“Always great - Hero loves her walks!”

“Lewis and his partner followed all of my (probably over the top) instructions and took great care of my pups! Will definitely be booking again.”

About: Hello lovely dog owners 🙋🏽♀️ I recently moved from Germany to Cheltenham (Shurdington). Back in Germany, I walked dogs of my neighbors and friends. I went for energetic morning walks or calm evening strolls. 🐕☺️ Now I’m looking for dogs that I can walk or sit in and around Cheltenham. As I just love dogs, it always makes me happy to watch them being excited in the nature, enjoying a stroke and to get to know to their unique characters. 💛 What sets me apart from other sitters is my active lifestyle, my reliability, positive attitude combined with a sensitivity to each dog’s needs. I love going on long walks, exploring parks or going up to Shurdington Hill or Leckhampton Hill —but I always adjust the pace and distance to match the dog’s age, energy level, and personality. As a freelancer, I have a flexible schedule and can often accommodate last-minute walks or special routines. I look forward to one day having an own dog, until then and maybe even after I happily take care of your one. 😀 I preferably look for 1-2 dogs that I can walk regularly in order to get to know to them, establish a relationship and enjoy the time even more. ☀️ As a freelancer, I have a flexible schedule and can often adapt to your needs. I'm available on weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to offer overnight stays. On weekends, I love taking dogs on longer outdoor adventures. Unfortunately, I’m not able to host pets in my own home—but I’m more than happy to care for them in the comfort of their own familiar space. When staying at the owner's home, I follow all instructions regarding feeding, routines, and any specific needs. I pay close attention to each animal’s well-being and I notice if something seems off.

About: I really love animals. I’ve had many cats over my 21 years and have had 3 huskies since the age of 9. I’ve had numerous people say that I have a way with pets that no one else has been able to achieve. Having many cats over my life i’ve been around everything from a newborn kitten to the table at the end of the line. With my dogs being huskies I’ve had a lot of patience and experience from 10 weeks old to my now 14 year old. I used to walk my neighbours dog everyday and I was well trusted and have dog and cat sat for many family members. i’m currently working part/full time as a nail tech. my mondays and tuesdays are very flexible so will be able to fit around work. my weekends are fairly available and mornings and evenings are usually pretty positive and available. but always talk to me and i can see what i can do! I always make sure my pets are well fed and cared for. Gets unlimited amounts of love, cuddles and attention but also know their boundaries.

About: While I don’t have a dog of my own (my perfect cat wouldn’t approve!), I absolutely adore dogs and love spending time with them. After recently losing one of my beloved cats, I’ve felt a strong pull to give back by helping others and making their fur babies feel happy, loved, and cared for. I really enjoy walking and being outdoors, and I’d be more than happy to offer drop-in visits as well. I’ve had experience walking and checking in on dogs for friends—especially during Covid, when I supported a friend who was classed as vulnerable. I always take the time to understand each dog’s personality and needs, whether that’s a fun, energetic walk or just some calm companionship and care at home. You can count on me to treat your dog as if they were my own—with kindness, attention, and lots of affection. I currently work full time however I work a 9 day fortnight which means I have availability every other Friday plus weekends. I could also offer some other times during the week for check ins/walks if it fits with my working schedule or a day I work from home. I would take advice from you as the owner as the best way to keep your fur baby safe. I would not take them off lead until they have began to trust me and their recall is good. Depending on location I may be required to use my vehicle however if you do not feel comfortable with this, I will ensure I find a local walk to your home.

About: We've always had dogs as a family, from Shelties to Golden Retrievers and now the cutest cream coloured dachshund, so I am used to caring for puppies, right through to senior dogs in their last few days. I am a gentle kind caring person with the patience to work quietly with any dog to ensure they overcome any anxieties or stresses, providing them with the right kind of walk on or off lead, be it in a secure field, open country side or local park. My day is built around dog care, having recently retired from 9 to 5. Your dog will have my full attention and focus. I love walking and being outside in the fresh air, come rain or shine. Rakhee has been into my house and fed my dogs when work commitments have prevented me from being there. She would always spend time cuddling them and staying for a while longer than necessary. When we have walked our dogs together she has always been aware of other dogs and their behaviour. Ensuring her dogs come to no harm.
