“Sophie was once again an absolute star with Joey! As he was unfamiliar with being in new surroundings, he unfortunately left his "mark" in multiple places in Sophie's house shortly after we arrived. Sophie was very understanding and forgiving :-) Joey has a great day exploring and giving and receiving cuddles, and Sophie was kind enough to brave the storm to drop him at home quite late at night. Fab experience again and I will have no hesitation in continuing to use Sophie's services and recommend her to others.”

“Our whippet Cleo had a lovely time with Dominika and Adam. They were very responsive with messages and kept me updated during the evening. Cleo seemed very calm and content when I picked her up. Thank you!”

“Our dog loved staying with Rachel for the day! He came back to us very chilled. Rachel was great with him and we felt completely at ease leaving him and enjoyed our day. Thank you so much and we will certainly be looking forward to using again! ☺️”

“I used Lewis to look after my 1 year old Goldendoodle for the day. It was the first time I have left Banjo with anyone, but I was incredibly comfortable with Lewis because we did a meet and greet on a separate day (at his request), and it was a brilliant idea. Banjo was loving playing with Lewis's dog and I knew already that Banjo was going to have a fun day and also be in capable hands. Lewis was easy to deal with, and very accommodating to my busy life at the moment, which had me move times around a bit. He even dropped him home for me which was just brilliant. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve taken care of many friends and families dogs, confident on walks and overnights. I have a four year old son who’s also confident around dogs and we love to have them in the house. I’ve got a lovely large garden that they can roam in. I work from home so am available for daycare, can walk a couple of times a day (morning/lunchtime), can check in midday if required. If overnights stays are required, I’ll be available all day to let out for garden sniffs, and also for a couple of walks. I have a fenced garden, and also a four year old boy who is confident around dogs. Your dog would need to be ok around children for that reason. Similarly if you choose to book when my son is not with me then this is not an issue so please do select your service or date and we can discuss. I don’t currently have a crate so if needed you would need to provide that but otherwise any questions just ask.

About: My husband and I live in a detached house in Lower Slaughter, right in the centre of the Cotswolds. We live with Poppy, our 3 year old Cockerpoo, and Banjo, a small 2 year old Goldendoodle. We have a large enclosed garden and dogs are ranked above humans at our house! Expect lots of cuddles, zoomies and naps in front of the (sealed) fire. Very relaxed household, where dogs are allowed on furniture and encouraged to play. I’m a freelance designer who works at home, so your pets will never be left alone. I take the pups out regularly to stretch their legs in our garden. We have a large, enclosed garden, where your fur babies can run freely with our two friendly dogs. When it’s time to relax, dogs are welcome anywhere in our home.
“Izabela was brilliant. She is super friendly, helpful and my dogs had a fantastic time. She responded quickly to my last minute request and immediately put me at ease when we met. My dogs had a lovely time and slept all the way home. I would 100% recommend Izabella and hope to meet her again.”

“Leah was AMAZING! It was the first time we left our puppy with somebody. Our puppy loves going to their house and see’s it as a second home now where he can play and get lots of love from Leah all day long.”

“James helped us out last minute which was super appreciated, and Jagger had the best day. Communication was great before and then on the day, lots of photos and updates. Will absolutely book again!!”

“She and her family are very friendly for us. My dog usually doesn't like to interact with other dogs, but she was showing interest in this family's dog. It's a sign that she's very relaxed. I would like to ask them to day care again!”

About: I have always had cats growing up and I’ve also cared for a variety of animals (including dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs) for many families within my town. I am fairly flexible due to recently graduating and now taking time to find a full time job. I am happy to do drop ins, walks or stay in your home any day of the week. I am comfortable learning your pets specific needs and commands as I understand how important a routine and consistency is for them. I am more than happy to communicate through messages and pictures as often as needed while you are away to ensure your confidence remains with me during my care.

About: I started Dog Walking for Neighbours at 10, Pet Sitting and helping neighbours with horses from 14 and then Housing Sitting from the age of 16. I’ve grown up around cats, dogs and horses of all sizes and ages, from young animals through to seniors. I also have experience caring for rescue dogs and horses, so I understand the extra patience and care they can require. With every dog I’ve owned, I’ve attended training classes, and I even showed my rescue Border Collie, Ollie, who won first place in both the County Agility competition and the “Most Handsome Hound” category. Growing up, the family pets were primarily my responsibility, so I’m very comfortable with everything from puppy care and training to looking after older dogs with changing needs. I’m more than happy to get stuck in with muddy walks, messy paws, and all the less glamorous parts of pet care too! I’m 27 and have recently moved to the area for work. At the moment, I’m unable to have pets of my own as I live in shared accommodation and occasionally travel for work. I’ve really been missing having animals in my life, as they’ve been a huge part of my daily routine since I was a child. I currently work a 9 to 5 in transport logistics with a half day on Fridays, 12pm finishes. I am happy to do early morning walks and then afternoon and evening walks. Back home, I’m out til 10:30pm with our family dog so happy to do late nights. I am unable to do lunch walks or visits Monday to Thursday. I have no weekend commitments so would schedule my Saturday and Sundays around the pets schedule to maintain their routines. I have my own transport with a clean drivers license and have been driving for 10 years with a National Trust Membership, if you as a owner is happy, I am more then happy to take your pet off to nearby areas for them to explore. I will comply with all owners requests for their pets and these will always be my first port of call when it comes to care. If I am ever unsure, I will ask, communication is very important to me as I know when away from my own pet I am always thinking of them.
“George went above & beyond when walking Kobe for the first time. He was on time, gave our boy a really good walk and helped to clean him on his return. Our relatives that were here when he came to walk our dog said George was lovely - friendly & professional. The walk was recorded on Rover and we were very impressed with the level of detail provided. Will definitely be using George again!”

“Super thoughtful, reliable and friendly. Would 100% recommend Sophie. She asked questions to ensure that when looking after and walking our dog everything was covered. Thank you Sophie.”

“Thank you Annie for letting Hera take you for a walk around her favourite stinky spots and introduce you to her snack-dealers in hi-vis! She was very happy when I got home.”

“Rakhee was great with my collie Ted, she had him behaving like an angel and he came back tired but happy. She was interested to listen to all of his nuances and was careful not to over do things in the heat. She communicates really promptly and is really super to speak to. I would recommend Rakhee to anyone.”

“Shannon was warm and friendly. She ensured we had a meet & greet before walking Luka and asked me questions about Luka's needs. Shannon went the extra mile in looking after Luka for longer than agreed due to a mix-up by my mum, and she was very patient and understanding about it. Luka came home happy and nicely tired out from his walks. Would recommend Shannon and use her services again.”

“Jess was a breath of fresh air, bursting with enthusiasm and common sense, reliable and clearly loves animals. I couldn’t recommend highly enough. We will definitely be using Jess again and again.. Thank you Jess!”

“Emma was amazing with our two terriers. They felt very comfortable with her and we got daily updates and pictures which made being away that much more relaxing. We highly recommend Emma for your pet sitting/walking needs!”

About: Growing up in the countryside, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with family dogs and have since spent years caring for animals of all shapes and sizes and feel very at home around them. I also have my own dog, who is one of the loves of my life! With many years of experience, I’m confident handling pets of all ages and sizes and understand the importance of consistency, safety and attentive care. Friends, family, neighbours and clients have trusted me to walk, feed and care for their pets for many years, and I first began house sitting at 17. Since then, I’ve looked after a wide variety of animals, each with their own personalities, routines and needs. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your dog loves long walks, prefers quiet company, or simply someone to stick to their usual routine, I will care for them as if they were my own. I’m always happy to send regular photos and updates throughout my stay, so you can relax and enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind knowing your pets are happy, settled and receiving the very best care in safe and capable hands. Please note that my own dog will never accompany me on walks, visits or house sits, so your pets will always receive my full attention and care. I’m self-employed, work from home and am currently between projects so have a little extra time on my hands and happy to help out where needed. Because I run my own business, I can be flexible with my time so am happy to work around your schedule and pets routines as best as possible. I can sometimes be flexible around weekends for walks and drop-ins, so please do still get in touch even if you see a date unavailable. I’m more than happy to discuss these directly with you on a case by case basis. Whether your dog loves a nice long walk, playtime with their favourite toys, plenty of cuddles, basic training, or simply having some company during the day, I’m happy to tailor my care to suit their personality and routine. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, daytime companionship and overnight house sitting. If you’re heading away for a night or a longer trip, I’m also happy to provide extended stays so your dog can remain relaxed and comfortable in the familiarity of their own home. I’ll make sure they’re well looked after, given lots of love and attention, and kept to their usual routine as much as possible. My aim is always to make your dog feel happy, safe and cared for, while giving you peace of mind that they’re in experienced and trustworthy hands.

“Loki loves Maddie and it’s such a good feeling knowing your dog is in good hands. Before the walk, I mentioned that Loki had just had a bath. Immediately, Maddie started thinking of a route that wouldn’t be muddy. She’s very conscientious and reliable.”

About: I would be delighted to welcome your dog to stay in my quiet, safe home. My partner Seb and I have had Birdie, our rescue greyhound, for 2 years. Before adopting Birdie, I grew up with a dog and I've volunteered with dog-walking charities over the years and walked dogs and done catsitting for friends and relatives. When Birdie joined the household, I had to help her adjust to her new surroundings and life as a family pet. With time and patience, she's settled in wonderfully. Birdie loves the company of other hounds and I'm hoping to welcome some new visitors into our pack. Meet-and-greets / trial visits welcome. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions! I work from home so there is usually always someone around during the work day. (I am out on Tuesdays so not currently taking Tues bookings). I tend to walk first thing, before the working day, and again after work. There are playing fields, open countryside and neighbourhood footpaths in the local area, and I can tailor walks to your dog's preferences and needs. Enclosed back garden for toilet opportunities through the day. I have an enclosed back garden (6-foot fences). “Halley & Ed have looked after our dog, Dora, twice in a short space of time, and we couldn’t be happier with the care they’ve given her. They are both fantastic, and it’s clear that Dora absolutely loves staying with them. It’s such a relief knowing she’s in safe, caring hands while we’re away. Thank you both so much for taking such great care of Dora. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you!”
