She left the place lovely and tidy and even cleaned up where the cat was sick so that we were completely unable to see where it had happened. We were initially a bit nervous about having someone we didn't know staying in our home, but everything went brilliantly. About: Growing up and throughout my whole life I’ve had dogs ranging in size and personality from Yorkshire terriers to Rottweilers! Until a couple of years ago I had a collie X German Shepard called Kira, she was a serious bundle of energy and nothing made me happier than unclipping her lead and watching her explode with joy. I no longer have Kira or the home/worklife balance to have a dog full time but I do have the capacity to care for other dogs on a more temporary basis. A friend suggest Rover and here I am! I currently offer dog walks & home checks - we can tailor walks and factor in any requirements to suit both you and your pets needs I work a day shift for my bread and butter work. I have evenings and some weekend free for dog walking & house calls. I’m looking to potentially set consistent days for dog care although being new to this I’m figuring out what work best all round. Right now I don’t offer overnight dog stays or for me to stay overnight in a pet owners home. I’m currently offering pet home check ins and walking only.

About: Ive taken care of all sizes of dogs my entire life. I know the warning signs and if you leave me the information of your vet and your phone number if anything happens I can call them and then you to make sure your pet gets the right care. I know how to handle teething puppies and especially how to settle the crying at night haha! I can sit with them as they pee or eat and make sure they arent lonely and I know how to make them take their meds even if they dont love taking them ahah! I think my hyper vigilance and knowledge of dogs makes me a perfect fit for anyone worried about their anxious baby This is my main priority at the moment. My love for animals means I will always put the effort in to make your pets the happiest they can be I will sit with your pets as they eat if needed, or while they go to the bathroom, give them lots of cuddles on the sofa and make sure they take their medicine! I know the warning signs for health problems and know what to do in an event of an emergency. I will always call you and make sure you know whats going on.

About: I’m experienced in handling large dogs (any size/breed welcome) and have a deep understanding of the needs and quirks of anxious and reactive dogs and the care and patience they require through my experience with my extremely nervous rescue German Shepherd who was in very bad mental and physical condition when I adopted him. Sadly, he passed at the end of 2024 after many happy years together. Personally, I found it extremely difficult to trust others to walk or care for him during our time together so I’d like to reassure those in a similar position that I can take care of their best friend when they need it and I’ll always be as careful, understanding and vigilant as I was with my own. My garden is secure with full, well-maintained fences and walls and a padlocked gate, I have blinds on all public facing windows which can be closed if dogs are triggered by people walking by. Everyone is welcome to supply any toys, beds or anything that makes your dog feel more comfortable and of course I will stick to their usual walking schedule and dietary requirements. I live directly next to a large park which is not typically very busy and offers numerous trails from the main paths to avoid others when caring for reactive dogs. I will never let anyone’s dog off the lead during a walk (unless I have booked a secure field) and always clip leads to a strong walking belt as extra security, walk in shaded areas on hot days and carry water at all times. I mainly work from home so when boarding and pet sitting your dog will be with me all day with regular opportunities to play, go in the garden and for walks in the morning, lunch time and evening. I’m available for walks morning, lunchtime and evenings during the week and all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I only care for dogs from the same household on walks and in my home unless they are friends who have already spent time together. This is for the best possible wellbeing of each dog. I’d rather provide quality and complete confidence than take on as many dogs as possible as I believe in giving them the individual care and attention they deserve with as few stressful triggers as possible. I work from home so dogs will not be left unattended or outside for prolonged periods. I only endorse the use of positive reinforcement / reward-based training and treat all dogs with respect, understanding and care tailored to their specific needs. I’m happy to discuss your requirements, answer any questions and arrange a pre-stay meet and greet if required. I have also completed a certified DBS check through my employer.

About: I’m Sian and I’m my late 30s and I work from home. In 2024, I sadly lost my beloved 11-year-old German Shepherd and am now looking for dogs to share in some daily walks and enjoy some doggy companionship. I have plenty of experience with dogs, as they’ve always been a part of my family, and have had 2 rescue dogs of my own, so have lots of experience with anxious pooches. Don’t have any children, so I have plenty of time and attention to give. I love hiking and would be thrilled to have a dog join me on outdoor adventures! I work from home all week so I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your animals. Happy to have them overnight too! Don’t have any children and a big house and garden, so plenty of space to run around and play. Your dog will love running around or chilling at my house.

About: I've looked after my sister's large dog since she was a puppy, fed her and took her out for walks and minded her when my sister went away. I love when my friends bring their dogs when we go for walks so I can give them lots of attention and cuddles. When out in public I always stroke dogs with permission and talk to them Currently I have more free time than usual and I am available during the week and weekend for hourly/ daily visits and for overnight stays. I live in Hartlepool so I'd be willing to do drop in visits and walks for anyone living within 10 miles of me and I would stay in your home up to 35-40 miles away from where I live. But please ask as I might be able to make exceptions Week commencing 28/7 I can do walks/stays after 16:00 in the teesside area and potentially could do a drop in visit depending on where you live I'd care for the pets in the owners home and follow the instructions they gave me about keeping their pets safe, hopefully this would make life easier for the owner

About: For over 20 years I have either looked after family dogs or helped care for friends and families dogs. I am very confident with any breed or sized dog and love getting out into nature no matter what the weather outside. When I am home from work I love to be out doors walking and running or exploring the area. I would love the company of a canine friend as unfortunately at the moment I’m unable to have a dog full time due to work commitments but when I can have time off and help look after others dogs I love nothing more than getting out with them, whether that is a little walk to stretch their legs or a long yomp or even if a run is needed to really help them get the energy out I’m happy to tailor to all needs and as it keeps me busy i benefit even more. When I’m not at work I’m regularly out for walks down the beach or out for runs that a furry canine would be a great addition to in all weathers I have a secure fenced garden, no other pets in the house to worry about. The houses either side of me have dogs but they have never been a bother.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was of a young age. Had dogs in my family growing up, a springer spaniel. I regularly look after family members dogs. I have a 5 year old Cavapoo - he’s friendly, loves to go on walks but isn’t overly playful! I love the company a dog provides, I love walking myself so go 2-3 times a day regularly… having extra companions to do that with makes it even more fun and enjoyable. Typical walks are through the woods or along the beach or cliffs. I work from home so I am in during the day. Live in semi detached housing with fenced back garden. I work from home so have got convenience on my side. I walk regularly anyway around 2-3 times a day before work, lunch time and after work usually. I have a fenced back garden. I would keep dog on lead at all times unless recall is sure to be good. Walks regularly on beach / woods.

About: I've been around dogs for as far back as I can remember, everything from Great Danes to Chihuahuas. I'm often asked back to repeat sit for people, because they know that their pets are in safe hands with me, and that their house will be clean and tidy when they return from their holiday. I've done pet sits all over the UK and can travel up to 100 miles from my home in Hartlepool, as I don't have any work or family commitments that prevent me from travelling. However, please note that if you live more than 40 miles drive from Hartlepool, then I will require travelling expenses on top of the sit payment please. I prefer to be with smaller dogs and dogs that are obedient. If your dog has behavioural issues, is aggressive towards people or other dogs, or has bitten anyone in the past, then please don't message me. If you do message me, please be polite and courteous. I'm self-employed and about to launch a new brand of joint and muscle pain relief products, which doesn't require me to be in a fixed location, so I can carry out pet sitting duties as well as work on the business. I always adjust my routine to fit in with that of the animals. Their wellbeing is of paramount importance and I'll never leave them alone for any longer than is necessary. If your pet has an appointment booked, then I can take them to it in my car, but if they cause damage to my car I will expect you to cover the full cost of repairs.
