About: I have had dogs in the family since I was 11 years old. I have experience of caring for old dogs and have had our current dog since he was 12 weeks old. My own dog is very friendly and would welcome another dog into the home. I work full time however both remote and in the office. Our weekends are spent dog walking mostly in the local area particularly on the beach. We have a fenced and gated medium sized garden. We have one male dog who is 5 years old and is neutered. He is extremely friendly and would be a lovely companion to any dogs staying in our home. We live close to the beach and countryside. We don’t currently have any children in the home.

About: I’m experienced in handling large dogs (any size/breed welcome) and have a deep understanding of the needs and quirks of anxious and reactive dogs and the care and patience they require through my experience with my extremely nervous rescue German Shepherd who was in very bad mental and physical condition when I adopted him. Sadly, he passed at the end of 2024 after many happy years together. Personally, I found it extremely difficult to trust others to walk or care for him during our time together so I’d like to reassure those in a similar position that I can take care of their best friend when they need it and I’ll always be as careful, understanding and vigilant as I was with my own. My garden is secure with full, well-maintained fences and walls and a padlocked gate, I have blinds on all public facing windows which can be closed if dogs are triggered by people walking by. Everyone is welcome to supply any toys, beds or anything that makes your dog feel more comfortable and of course I will stick to their usual walking schedule and dietary requirements. I live directly next to a large park which is not typically very busy and offers numerous trails from the main paths to avoid others when caring for reactive dogs. I will never let anyone’s dog off the lead during a walk (unless I have booked a secure field) and always clip leads to a strong walking belt as extra security, walk in shaded areas on hot days and carry water at all times. I mainly work from home so when boarding and pet sitting your dog will be with me all day with regular opportunities to play, go in the garden and for walks in the morning, lunch time and evening. I’m available for walks morning, lunchtime and evenings during the week and all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I only care for dogs from the same household on walks and in my home unless they are friends who have already spent time together. This is for the best possible wellbeing of each dog. I’d rather provide quality and complete confidence than take on as many dogs as possible as I believe in giving them the individual care and attention they deserve with as few stressful triggers as possible. I work from home so dogs will not be left unattended or outside for prolonged periods. I only endorse the use of positive reinforcement / reward-based training and treat all dogs with respect, understanding and care tailored to their specific needs. About: We commit ourselves to offering the best care possible for your cats by creating a comforting and clean environment. While some cats are very independ we still provide love and attention to them. We are qualified in administering medications and will happily follow any schedule the cats require for their health needs. We always ensure the cats have a pristine environment, especially the litter box which is cleaned at least twice a day.

About: Previous dog owner of my lovely girl for 18 years. I have provided regular day and overnight care for two family dogs for the last 9 years (from puppy onwards) We relocated to the North East in July 25. We have previously been registered on Rover, when living down south. We all enjoyed the experience and built an excellent rating, with many repeat visitors. I am at home 7 days a week. Living in a mutigeneration family (Mother, sister and 2 teenagers - all dog lovers) so full time care and attention is always available. We love dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. The beach is only a safe 7 minute walk away, so access to lots of exciting walks, smells and stimulation is on our doorstep. I have a good sized family home, with a secure fenced garden. A large family/ kitchen area with plenty of space for our doggy visitors to relax. We also have a cosy living room for some personal space and quiet time. We will give your fur baby a home away from home experience. With plenty of walks, play and cuddles during any stay.

About: My experience with dogs started when I was born. The family dog was one year old so I have grown up with dogs which installed a deep and meaningful bond with dogs. I have fostered many rescues from the UK and Romania, as well as adopting. I love all dogs and care for them as if they were my own and have owned and have experience with puppies, reactive dogs and seniors so have experience with a wide variety of different breeds and ages. I currently work part time from home, so will have plenty of time to play with your dogs, walk them and look after any of their needs from brushing to tear stains and feeding and/or medication. I will still be able to take your dog all day as I can work around their needs. I have a 6ft fenced garden and 3 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company if they want. Dogs have free roam of the house and garden and are welcome to sit on the sofas or beds, but am also able to provide crates/beds if needed for your pet. I am a short drive away from Marske beach and a wonderful wood so your dog will get a nice variety of walks twice a day depending on time spent at my home. Water bowls are placed in every room so they will have plenty of access to water at all times and will never be left more than 3 hours at a time if boarding overnight. At weekends our dogs are our passion so all days out are worked around dog friendly walks and cafes/pubs if needed. Your baby will also be able to enjoy weekend adventures if you would be happy for us to take them along.
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have also dog sit my grandparents elderly west highland terriers before. My parents were cat breeders so I’m very comfortable with cats and dogs. I grew up with a border collie. Other family pets included ducks, chickens, rats, birds, turtles, hamsters. Other experience includes childcare, I am a British gymnastics qualified coach who completed background checks, I’ve worked at a leisure Center and volunteered at a down syndrome sports club. I work full time in an office but am remote Mondays and Fridays, which makes thoose ideals for pet sitting! I have a large flat which I can allow the pet to free roam with plenty of ventilation. I also leave all the doors open so the pegs can come find me st my workstation and I can keep an ear out for them! Including frequent breaks to check on their needs, water and just some attention if they wish!

About: Hi I’m India! I’ve owned dogs my whole life from chihuahuas to alsatians and everything in between. At my family home we have an assortment of pets from horses to cats and dogs. Over the summer months I will be back home with lots of free time so I’d love to play care and love your pets when you’re at work or going away. We have lots of space including, enclosed fields, fenced gardens and dog runs as well as rooms inside to keep your pet separate from other dogs if that’s what you would prefer! Im a kind, patient person and I’m capable of handling dogs that may need a slightly stricter approach, my husky for example pulls on her lead very badly (I’m trying to train her out of this though!) About: I've looked after my sister's large dog since she was a puppy, fed her and took her out for walks and minded her when my sister went away. I love when my friends bring their dogs when we go for walks so I can give them lots of attention and cuddles. When out in public I always stroke dogs with permission and talk to them Currently I have more free time than usual and I am available during the week and weekend for hourly/ daily visits and for overnight stays. I live in Hartlepool so I'd be willing to do drop in visits and walks for anyone living within 10 miles of me and I would stay in your home up to 35-40 miles away from where I live. But please ask as I might be able to make exceptions I can do walks/stays after 17:30 in the teesside area and potentially could do a drop in visit during the day depending on where you live I'd care for the pets in the owners home and follow the instructions they gave me about keeping their pets safe, hopefully this would make life easier for the owner

“We booked on Rover as our usual sitter was away, I was apprehensive as they hadn’t been left with people we didn’t know. Leanne and Daniel are BIG dog lovers, after booking we did a meet and great, Mabel and Baxter were relaxed and happy as soon as they arrived at their house which left us feeling so much better about leaving them. We were away for 10 days and got daily updates, photos and videos of their holiday adventures. We would recommend Leanne and Daniel to anyone who needs a dog sitter, they were very well looked after and happy.”
“This was our first time using Rover and Odie’s first time away from family members we thought kennels wouldn’t be the right solution for Odie as he needs a quiet space being an older dog and after hours of scrolling for the right person we came across Michael. Reading his profile gave us reassurance and confidence that he would be the right person to look after our boy with his home offering a home from home environment, quiet space, meeting routines, patience and understanding of his personality he ticked all the boxes! Michael was quick to respond with any queries before we went ahead with booking. We received lovely pictures and videos of Odie out on walks and snuggled up at his home and he looked very happy and content throughout the whole Holiday.We had no worries or concerns at any point. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future with Michael as he was very kind, approachable and genuinely very caring. About: I have had dogs in the family since I was 11 years old. I have experience of caring for old dogs and have had our current dog since he was 12 weeks old. My own dog is very friendly and would welcome another dog into the home. I work full time however both remote and in the office. Our weekends are spent dog walking mostly in the local area particularly on the beach. We have a fenced and gated medium sized garden. We have one male dog who is 5 years old and is neutered. He is extremely friendly and would be a lovely companion to any dogs staying in our home. We live close to the beach and countryside. We don’t currently have any children in the home.
“Daisy has just returned from Raymonds after 10 nights with him. Through out her stay we were kept fully informed and received photos of her enjoying herself, and certainly looking like she had made herself at home. When we first arrived for her stay Daisy was more than excited to see Ray which we took as an encouraging sign and she was still at home there when we picked her up. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Raymond,this is Daisys second stay and hopefully not her last.”
“Minnie had a wonderful time with Kay. We felt at ease instantly, as Kay was so thorough when asking about Minnie’s needs and showed her lots of love from the get go. She has an amazing garden which Minnie wasted no time in enjoying! Kay sent lots of updates with photos and videos to put our mind at ease too which was fab. We would recommend to anyone who would like a kind, loving home away from home for their pup, we will certainly be using Kay again.”
“Eleanor had Thanos for 2 nights while I was away at a festival. She clearly looked after him well as he was in great spirits when I picked him up. I got updates about everything important, she administered his meds as instructed, sent me cute pictures after play time etc. Really couldn't recommend enough!”
“We needed someone who could take 2 big dogs (and all the luggage that goes with them!!) Sarah and her family were absolutely marvellous and more than stepped up. Diesel fitted straight in; Nala we knew would take more convincing and try and push her luck, but Sarah soon cottoned on it didn't take long before Nala settled too. Have already booked them in for more holidays as now we have found the right family to take care of Diesel and Nala, we can enjoy our holidays worry free.”
“We are so lucky we found Pete, Emma and Sirius the dalmation to look after our dog Misty while we were in holiday, they are such a lovely family and they welcomed Misty into their home for a week making her part of their family. We got regular updates, messages, photos and videos which made a massive difference to our holiday actually seeing her having a fabulous holiday of her own. Everything from the first contact via Rover to the end of Misty's stay was smooth and stress free for us, Pete and Emma are such calm confident people, at our initial meeting at the park we felt very confident they were going to look after Misty as their own and that reassured us we had chosen correctly. I would not hesitate to ask the family to take care of Misty again and if I could give 10 stars in this review that still wouldn't be enough to show how highly we rate them.”
“Mica was very chilled and we felt at ease after meeting her. Luna warmed to Mica straight away. The house was clean, tidy and safe. We would definitely use Mica again. Luna returned happy and playful. Grest over night stay. Mica is close by to the Scarborough open air theatre , as we were attending a gig there that evening the location was perfect.”

Our mornings start with breakfast (our Goldie would never let us forget it!), followed by a long walk through the beautiful nearby woods and countryside. If anyone comes home a little muddy after their adventure, they're more than welcome to enjoy a quick rinse before settling in. While I work, the dogs can relax wherever they're most comfortable, with free access to our spacious, secure garden whenever they fancy a sniff or a potter outside. I take regular breaks throughout the day for playtime, cuddles, toilet breaks, and, of course, the occasional well-earned treat! In the afternoon, we head out for another walk before winding down for the evening. Whether your dog loves exploring, playing, snoozing, or simply being close to people, they'll enjoy a relaxed, home-from-home environment with lots of love, attention, and companionship. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We have a large, fully secure garden with high fencing, giving dogs plenty of space to run, play, explore, or simply relax in the fresh air whenever they like. Sharing our home is our friendly, spayed Golden Retriever, who absolutely loves the company of other dogs.
