About: I’m experienced in handling large dogs (any size/breed welcome) and have a deep understanding of the needs and quirks of anxious and reactive dogs and the care and patience they require through my experience with my extremely nervous rescue German Shepherd who was in very bad mental and physical condition when I adopted him. Sadly, he passed at the end of 2024 after many happy years together. Personally, I found it extremely difficult to trust others to walk or care for him during our time together so I’d like to reassure those in a similar position that I can take care of their best friend when they need it and I’ll always be as careful, understanding and vigilant as I was with my own. My garden is secure with full, well-maintained fences and walls and a padlocked gate, I have blinds on all public facing windows which can be closed if dogs are triggered by people walking by. Everyone is welcome to supply any toys, beds or anything that makes your dog feel more comfortable and of course I will stick to their usual walking schedule and dietary requirements. I live directly next to a large park which is not typically very busy and offers numerous trails from the main paths to avoid others when caring for reactive dogs. I will never let anyone’s dog off the lead during a walk (unless I have booked a secure field) and always clip leads to a strong walking belt as extra security, walk in shaded areas on hot days and carry water at all times. I mainly work from home so when boarding and pet sitting your dog will be with me all day with regular opportunities to play, go in the garden and for walks in the morning, lunch time and evening. I’m available for walks morning, lunchtime and evenings during the week and all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I only care for dogs from the same household on walks and in my home unless they are friends who have already spent time together. This is for the best possible wellbeing of each dog. I’d rather provide quality and complete confidence than take on as many dogs as possible as I believe in giving them the individual care and attention they deserve with as few stressful triggers as possible. About: Previous dog owner of my lovely girl for 18 years. I have provided regular day and overnight care for two family dogs for the last 9 years (from puppy onwards) We relocated to the North East in July 25. We have previously been registered on Rover, when living down south. We all enjoyed the experience and built an excellent rating, with many repeat visitors. I am at home 7 days a week. Living in a mutigeneration family (Mother, sister and 2 teenagers - all dog lovers) so full time care and attention is always available. We love dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. About: My experience with dogs started when I was born. The family dog was one year old so I have grown up with dogs which installed a deep and meaningful bond with dogs. I have fostered many rescues from the UK and Romania, as well as adopting. I love all dogs and care for them as if they were my own and have owned and have experience with puppies, reactive dogs and seniors so have experience with a wide variety of different breeds and ages. I currently work part time from home, so will have plenty of time to play with your dogs, walk them and look after any of their needs from brushing to tear stains and feeding and/or medication. I will still be able to take your dog all day as I can work around their needs. I have a 6ft fenced garden and 3 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company if they want. Dogs have free roam of the house and garden and are welcome to sit on the sofas or beds, but am also able to provide crates/beds if needed for your pet. I am a short drive away from Marske beach and a wonderful wood so your dog will get a nice variety of walks twice a day depending on time spent at my home. Water bowls are placed in every room so they will have plenty of access to water at all times and will never be left more than 3 hours at a time if boarding overnight. At weekends our dogs are our passion so all days out are worked around dog friendly walks and cafes/pubs if needed. Your baby will also be able to enjoy weekend adventures if you would be happy for us to take them along.

My family has a French Bulldog who is now 12 years old, and I have been closely involved in his care throughout his life from a little pup all the way to a senior dog. About: I have had many pets over the years. From a donkey, goats, chickens and of course dogs! I stumbled across offering care for other people's dogs by accident really, but it works really well. I care for our extended family and friends dogs in my home while they go away on holiday. I lost my gorgeous dog four years ago and miss him terribly. About: I've looked after my sister's large dog since she was a puppy, fed her and took her out for walks and minded her when my sister went away. I love when my friends bring their dogs when we go for walks so I can give them lots of attention and cuddles. When out in public I always stroke dogs with permission and talk to them Currently I have more free time than usual and I am available during the week and weekend for hourly/ daily visits and for overnight stays. I live in Hartlepool so I'd be willing to do drop in visits and walks for anyone living within 10 miles of me and I would stay in your home up to 35-40 miles away from where I live. “We booked on Rover as our usual sitter was away, I was apprehensive as they hadn’t been left with people we didn’t know. Leanne and Daniel are BIG dog lovers, after booking we did a meet and great, Mabel and Baxter were relaxed and happy as soon as they arrived at their house which left us feeling so much better about leaving them. We were away for 10 days and got daily updates, photos and videos of their holiday adventures. We would recommend Leanne and Daniel to anyone who needs a dog sitter, they were very well looked after and happy.”

About: Hi, I’m Dave. I’ve had dogs all my life and have experience caring for both large and small breeds with different personalities and energy levels. At home we currently have Scout, our friendly 10-month-old German Shepherd and Golden Retriever cross, so your dog would have a sociable companion during their stay. We also have an older cat who sleeps upstairs out of the way. Our home is family-friendly, so any dog staying with us would need to be comfortable around secondary school-aged children. I understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family while their owners are away. Your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and a caring home environment during their stay. There is always someone home for company.I work full time night shift so will be in with your pet through the day whilst my wife works day shift so is in through the night plus our 2 sons who are always about. We have a fully fenced and secure garden where the dogs can safely play and relax. Scout loves digging up the garden, so part of it is sectioned off — if your dog is a digger too, don’t worry, ours is as well lol. Scout gets three walks a day along with plenty of playtime and attention from the family in between, and your pet would be treated as part of the family too.

“I am so tempted to write a terrible review just so Alice and her adorable family are available just for me! However that would be doing all those other doggos a disservice. Alice was just amazing from start to finish. My pampered Diva Queen was well tended to, quirks and all. Very welcoming and kind. Lovely clean quiet home. I could tell Susie was made to feel so welcome when we picked her up I thought we were going to have issues getting her to leave! Message updates throughout the stay as they could tell I was a nervous mumma! Thank you again Alice 🩷👑”

Being a Belgian Shepherd, Ava isn’t quick to warm with new people, and yet she was soon easing herself gently into her loving temporary home alongside her Golden Retriever sister Pink and her adopted sister, German Shepherd Willow, owned by Karrie and Kevin. I would not hesitate to book again.”
