About: Previous dog owner of my lovely girl for 18 years. I have provided regular day and overnight care for two family dogs for the last 9 years (from puppy onwards) We relocated to the North East in July 25. We have previously been registered on Rover, when living down south. We all enjoyed the experience and built an excellent rating, with many repeat visitors. I am at home 7 days a week. Living in a mutigeneration family (Mother, sister and 2 teenagers - all dog lovers) so full time care and attention is always available. We love dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. The beach is only a safe 7 minute walk away, so access to lots of exciting walks, smells and stimulation is on our doorstep. I have a good sized family home, with a secure fenced garden. A large family/ kitchen area with plenty of space for our doggy visitors to relax. We also have a cosy living room for some personal space and quiet time. We will give your fur baby a home away from home experience. With plenty of walks, play and cuddles during any stay.

After a few days I was getting news of Rusty via Whatsapp including little videos . He'd clearly settled in well and was enjoying his time. I also have an 11 year old miniature poodle back home in Portugal (living with my mom), and a friendly 6 month-old cockapoo living with me and my partner. I’m comfortable with different breeds and routines, as long as you provide me with this information beforehand so I can provide a warm, relaxed home where your pets will be treated like family. I work from home full-time, so pets are part of my daily routine with regular walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I live right next to a green area for quick and frequent outings, and on weekends I enjoy longer walks to parks or the beach for extra exercise and enrichment. I am available for weekday meet-and-greets and onboarding either before 8am or after 5pm. Pets staying in my home will be cared for in a calm, safe, and relaxed environment. I have a secure fenced garden for supervised outdoor time and toilet breaks. My friendly 6-month-old cockapoo puppy is also at home and can provide company and gentle social interaction, helping visiting dogs feel comfortable and settled. If required, I can also keep pets in separate rooms to ensure everyone has their own space to relax and feel at ease. I always aim to follow each pet's routine and individual needs as closely as possible.

About: Hi, I’m Dave. I’ve had dogs all my life and have experience caring for both large and small breeds with different personalities and energy levels. At home we currently have Scout, our friendly 10-month-old German Shepherd and Golden Retriever cross, so your dog would have a sociable companion during their stay. We also have an older cat who sleeps upstairs out of the way. Our home is family-friendly, so any dog staying with us would need to be comfortable around secondary school-aged children. I understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family while their owners are away. Your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and a caring home environment during their stay. There is always someone home for company.I work full time night shift so will be in with your pet through the day whilst my wife works day shift so is in through the night plus our 2 sons who are always about. We have a fully fenced and secure garden where the dogs can safely play and relax. Scout loves digging up the garden, so part of it is sectioned off — if your dog is a digger too, don’t worry, ours is as well lol. Scout gets three walks a day along with plenty of playtime and attention from the family in between, and your pet would be treated as part of the family too.

About: I’m experienced in handling large dogs (any size/breed welcome) and have a deep understanding of the needs and quirks of anxious and reactive dogs and the care and patience they require through my experience with my extremely nervous rescue German Shepherd who was in very bad mental and physical condition when I adopted him. Sadly, he passed at the end of 2024 after many happy years together. Personally, I found it extremely difficult to trust others to walk or care for him during our time together so I’d like to reassure those in a similar position that I can take care of their best friend when they need it and I’ll always be as careful, understanding and vigilant as I was with my own. My garden is secure with full, well-maintained fences and walls and a padlocked gate, I have blinds on all public facing windows which can be closed if dogs are triggered by people walking by. Everyone is welcome to supply any toys, beds or anything that makes your dog feel more comfortable and of course I will stick to their usual walking schedule and dietary requirements. I live directly next to a large park which is not typically very busy and offers numerous trails from the main paths to avoid others when caring for reactive dogs. I will never let anyone’s dog off the lead during a walk (unless I have booked a secure field) and always clip leads to a strong walking belt as extra security, walk in shaded areas on hot days and carry water at all times. I mainly work from home so when boarding and pet sitting your dog will be with me all day with regular opportunities to play, go in the garden and for walks in the morning, lunch time and evening. I’m available for walks morning, lunchtime and evenings during the week and all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I only care for dogs from the same household on walks and in my home unless they are friends who have already spent time together. This is for the best possible wellbeing of each dog. I’d rather provide quality and complete confidence than take on as many dogs as possible as I believe in giving them the individual care and attention they deserve with as few stressful triggers as possible. I work from home so dogs will not be left unattended or outside for prolonged periods. I only endorse the use of positive reinforcement / reward-based training and treat all dogs with respect, understanding and care tailored to their specific needs. I’m happy to discuss your requirements, answer any questions and arrange a pre-stay meet and greet if required. I have also completed a certified DBS check through my employer. We do not have any children or pets of our own in our home.

About: I have been a petsiitter, walker, companion for many years. I love all fur babies, recently looked after chickens too. I have a car, can work in York and surrounding areas. Will consider further afield but a minimum of one continous week. Always recommend a meetup before a booking for a cuppa and maybe a biscuit 😉 Recently retired. As i am an animal lover and experienced pet sitter for cats, dogs, chickens i can't think of a better way to spend my time. I cannot look after pets in my own home sadly. I can only offer pet sitting, Vet visits, Pop-ins for all fur babies, chickens, feeding, comforting, walking. Sadly I cannot look after reactive dogs because of past experience.

While some cats are very independ we still provide love and attention to them. We are qualified in administering medications and will happily follow any schedule the cats require for their health needs. About: My experience with dogs started when I was born. The family dog was one year old so I have grown up with dogs which installed a deep and meaningful bond with dogs. I have fostered many rescues from the UK and Romania, as well as adopting. I love all dogs and care for them as if they were my own and have owned and have experience with puppies, reactive dogs and seniors so have experience with a wide variety of different breeds and ages. I currently work part time from home, so will have plenty of time to play with your dogs, walk them and look after any of their needs from brushing to tear stains and feeding and/or medication. I will still be able to take your dog all day as I can work around their needs. I have a 6ft fenced garden and 3 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company if they want. Dogs have free roam of the house and garden and are welcome to sit on the sofas or beds, but am also able to provide crates/beds if needed for your pet. I am a short drive away from Marske beach and a wonderful wood so your dog will get a nice variety of walks twice a day depending on time spent at my home. Water bowls are placed in every room so they will have plenty of access to water at all times and will never be left more than 3 hours at a time if boarding overnight. At weekends our dogs are our passion so all days out are worked around dog friendly walks and cafes/pubs if needed. Your baby will also be able to enjoy weekend adventures if you would be happy for us to take them along.

Over the summer months I will be back home with lots of free time so I’d love to play care and love your pets when you’re at work or going away. Im a kind, patient person and I’m capable of handling dogs that may need a slightly stricter approach, my husky for example pulls on her lead very badly (I’m trying to train her out of this though!) I’m happy to accommodate older pets who may not need lots of exercise or the opposite and take your pet out to play and walk all day. Everyone is welcome to supply any toys, beds or anything that makes your dog feel more comfortable and of course I will stick to their usual walking schedule and dietary requirements. I live directly next to a large park which is not typically very busy and offers numerous trails from the main paths to avoid others when caring for reactive dogs. I will never let anyone’s dog off the lead during a walk (unless I have booked a secure field) and always clip leads to a strong walking belt as extra security, walk in shaded areas on hot days and carry water at all times. I mainly work from home so when boarding and pet sitting your dog will be with me all day with regular opportunities to play, go in the garden and for walks in the morning, lunch time and evening. I’m available for walks morning, lunchtime and evenings during the week and all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I only care for dogs from the same household on walks and in my home unless they are friends who have already spent time together. This is for the best possible wellbeing of each dog. I’d rather provide quality and complete confidence than take on as many dogs as possible as I believe in giving them the individual care and attention they deserve with as few stressful triggers as possible. I work from home so dogs will not be left unattended or outside for prolonged periods. I only endorse the use of positive reinforcement / reward-based training and treat all dogs with respect, understanding and care tailored to their specific needs. I’m happy to discuss your requirements, answer any questions and arrange a pre-stay meet and greet if required. I have also completed a certified DBS check through my employer. We do not have any children or pets of our own in our home.

I'm an avid animal lover of all types and would welcome all invitations to walk, watch over and treat your best friends as mine too. I like to stay active, keeping a regular walking distance everyday and would happily welcome company on those walks. Whether that be short routes around the neighbourhood or a much longer trek in the hopes of tiring them out by the end of the day. I am a licenced first aider with lots of experience fostering dogs and cats in the past with severe medical conditions and other special requirements. In those situations I'm well trained to remain calm under pressure and skilled at assisting your pet in times of need.

About: I have had many pets over the years. From a donkey, goats, chickens and of course dogs! I stumbled across offering care for other people's dogs by accident really, but it works really well. I care for our extended family and friends dogs in my home while they go away on holiday. I lost my gorgeous dog four years ago and miss him terribly. I decided this would be a great way to enjoy having the company of a dog again. My dog was a whippet so I know what a good walk looks like! I am are registered on trusted house sitters and have five star reviews from all my sits. I have no dogs myself so your dog would be the only dog to be cared for whilst with me. You can go away knowing your dog would be having a lovely holiday with me while you are having your own holiday. They fit in as my pet for the duration of their stay. If I stayed in your home you could rest assured I know how to look after a home. I have been married for over 40 years. I have an acre garden so grass cutting does not faze me either.

About: I've looked after my sister's large dog since she was a puppy, fed her and took her out for walks and minded her when my sister went away. I love when my friends bring their dogs when we go for walks so I can give them lots of attention and cuddles. When out in public I always stroke dogs with permission and talk to them Currently I have more free time than usual and I am available during the week and weekend for hourly/ daily visits and for overnight stays. I live in Hartlepool so I'd be willing to do drop in visits and walks for anyone living within 10 miles of me and I would stay in your home up to 35-40 miles away from where I live. But please ask as I might be able to make exceptions I can do walks/stays after 17:30 in the teesside area and potentially could do a drop in visit during the day depending on where you live I'd care for the pets in the owners home and follow the instructions they gave me about keeping their pets safe, hopefully this would make life easier for the owner

About: I have been pet and house sitting for the past 11 years with Jane. We started in Australia and travelled the world sitting for owners. I have had dogs all my life and experienced multiple dogs at the same time. We have looked after a range of different dogs from small to large. We stay in your home for the entire sit so your home is also secure and protected while you are away. Animals are not left for more than 4 hours a day and the rest of the day we are there to tend to the animals needs ie playtime, toilet breaks, feeding etc.

About: I have been around dogs ever since I was a baby and I grew up with Rottweilers and mixed breeds. I also have an 11 year old miniature poodle back home in Portugal (living with my mom), and a friendly 6 month-old cockapoo living with me and my partner. I’m comfortable with different breeds and routines, as long as you provide me with this information beforehand so I can provide a warm, relaxed home where your pets will be treated like family. I work from home full-time, so pets are part of my daily routine with regular walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I live right next to a green area for quick and frequent outings, and on weekends I enjoy longer walks to parks or the beach for extra exercise and enrichment. I am available for weekday meet-and-greets and onboarding either before 8am or after 5pm. Pets staying in my home will be cared for in a calm, safe, and relaxed environment. I have a secure fenced garden for supervised outdoor time and toilet breaks. My friendly 6-month-old cockapoo puppy is also at home and can provide company and gentle social interaction, helping visiting dogs feel comfortable and settled. If required, I can also keep pets in separate rooms to ensure everyone has their own space to relax and feel at ease. I always aim to follow each pet's routine and individual needs as closely as possible.

About: Hi, I’m Dave. I’ve had dogs all my life and have experience caring for both large and small breeds with different personalities and energy levels. At home we currently have Scout, our friendly 10-month-old German Shepherd and Golden Retriever cross, so your dog would have a sociable companion during their stay. We also have an older cat who sleeps upstairs out of the way. Our home is family-friendly, so any dog staying with us would need to be comfortable around secondary school-aged children. I understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family while their owners are away. Your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and a caring home environment during their stay. There is always someone home for company.I work full time night shift so will be in with your pet through the day whilst my wife works day shift so is in through the night plus our 2 sons who are always about. We have a fully fenced and secure garden where the dogs can safely play and relax. Scout loves digging up the garden, so part of it is sectioned off — if your dog is a digger too, don’t worry, ours is as well lol. Scout gets three walks a day along with plenty of playtime and attention from the family in between, and your pet would be treated as part of the family too.
