About: I have years of experience working in a rescue centre working with every variety of breed and behaviour. I am experienced with puppies, providing gentle care to senior doggies, working with dog aggressive dogs and following a training plan. I am currently working part time so I have lots of free time to provide lots of loving care to your pets! I am able to take your dogs for walks or come and sit with your feline friends whenever you need! I can administer medication and feed your pets, let your pouch out in the garden to go to the toilet. Give your kitty lots of cuddles and play time and clean up their litter trays.

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life — from growing up in a home full of wagging tails to now having my own gorgeous pup, Scout, I truly understand what it means to love and care for a dog like family. This lifelong experience gives me a natural instinct for reading canine body language, meeting each dog’s individual needs, and providing a calm, reassuring presence whether we’re out on an adventure or snuggled up at home. What sets me apart is not just my experience, but my genuine passion — I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. Whether your pup is high-energy and needs lots of play, or prefers a gentle stroll and cuddles on the sofa, I’ll tailor my care to suit their personality. You’ll get regular updates, tons of love, and complete peace of mind knowing your furry friend is in safe, loving hands. My fiance Adam is a new dog owner, taking on Scout! But he absolutely loves it. Adam loves long walks so will be more than happy to have a furry companion! Dog care fits beautifully into my daily and weekly routine, and I pride myself on being flexible to meet the needs of both you and your pup. Whether you’re looking for early morning walks, lunchtime visits, or overnight stays, I’m happy to adapt my schedule to what works best for your dog. I know every dog – and every owner – is different, so I’ll always do my best to accommodate your routine, preferences, and any special requirements. My goal is to make things as easy and stress-free as possible for both of you! Whether your dog stays in our home or I (Suze) come to yours, their comfort and happiness is my top priority. In our home, your pup will enjoy a calm, cosy environment with plenty of love, playtime, and companionship. We have safe indoor and outdoor space, and of course, Scout is always up for a gentle game or a nap buddy (if your dog is social and comfortable with other dogs!). We would keep to your dog’s usual routine as much as possible — including feeding times, walks, and any special quirks or comforts they’re used to. If I’m caring for your dog in their own home, I’ll make sure they feel safe and settled in their familiar space. I’m tidy, respectful, and will treat your home like my own while giving your dog the care and attention they deserve. Whether it’s walks around their usual route, belly rubs on their favourite rug, or managing medication and routines, we’ll make sure everything runs smoothly while you’re away.

About: I studied animals in Writtle college (work based animal studies level 2). I spent a year working in a doggy daycare and a few months working in a greyhound training kennel with over 200 dogs to take care of. As a child, I helped raise many Italian greyhound puppies because my mother used to breed them. I volunteer at a care farm in the Colchester area every Friday. I have dog walking insurance. I am available most of the time apart from Friday daytime and parts of Sunday when I'm at church. Any other commitments in my life can be moved around to fit in with your schedule. I have a 6 ft fenced garden although my flat does not go directly to it. I primarily work as a dog walker but would consider looking after your pets at my home. I do not smoke or vape and take the safety of your dogs very seriously. My flat is a good size and would therefore be suitable for larger dogs as well as small which would be well entertained and let outside regularly as well as walked.

About: Since the age of 10 I have been walking dogs for neighbours, family and friends. I am intuitive with dogs, as well as confident and caring. My family have brought up a litter of puppies so I have experience with young pups. I also have experience with older dogs/dogs with ailments. I am available in the mornings until 8am and in the afternoons from around 1pm onwards and into the evening. Monday- Friday, however if you need a weekend walk please do get in touch and I will consider it based on my diary. I do not offer pet sitting services. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

About: Hi I’m Becky! I’m a teacher who lives in Suffolk and I’d love to help you take care of your dogs! I have a wide range of experience with dogs, including golden retrievers, beagles and spaniels to name a few. I’ve always had a soft spot for the big friendly giants of the dog world but ultimately, I love them all. I have house-sat and cared for many family pets, including litters of puppies and elderly dogs on multiple occasions. Being a teacher means that I’m available in blocks of time for house sitting during half terms but depending on your location, this can be arranged for during term time too. This also applies to drop-in sessions and walking. During term time, I am mostly always free on Saturdays but during half terms, this can be any day. Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions. Thanks! Saturdays are your best days to get me! Depending on your location, I can be available in the evenings on weekdays. School holidays will be when I’m available pretty much all day every day for all services! I care about the wellbeing of all animals and so their safety and happiness will always come first. In your home, I will be following the same rules you have for your pet to make sure they are settled and not little rascals by the time you get back to them! On walks, I will keep dogs on a lead unless you are very confident in their recall. If your furry friends have any medical needs to keep them healthy, I will stick to their routine/diet/medication times to make sure they are as happy and healthy as they are with their humans.

“First time booking and very pleased with Emma - reliable and Alvin told me he had a great time on the walks. Very reliable and would definitely recommend, will definitely ask Emma to help out again when needed 😊”

“Serena was great. Came round to meet us the night before, dealt brilliantly with our slightly nervy rescue dog and our shonky old house, and did exactly what was needed! Thanks Serena”

At home, dogs have free roam of the downstairs, are welcome on the furniture, and can enjoy a secure, fenced garden to play and relax in. I always recommend a meet and greet before any bookings it's a great way to ensure all dogs get along and gives you the chance to see our home and meet us in person. About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have gained some great experience over the years. I’ve worked with trained search dogs, which taught me a lot about understanding different behaviours and building trust. I also volunteer at a local rehoming centre, helping care for dogs with all kinds of personalities. At home, I have two lively cocker spaniels who keep me on my toes and remind me how important it is to give each pet the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I really enjoy making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well looked after I work part-time from home with a flexible shift pattern, so it’s easy for me to fit pet care around my schedule. I make sure any bookings get my full attention, and I love having animals as part of my daily routine. I offer drop-in visits to make sure pets are happy and well looked after in their own home. I’ll follow their normal routine — whether that’s feeding, topping up water, letting them out for a toilet break, or just giving them some company and attention. I always aim to keep things calm and reassuring, especially if a pet is shy or nervous. Every visit is tailored to what your pet needs to feel safe and settled while you’re away.

About: Looking for someone truly exceptional to care for your beloved pet? Look no further! As a self-employed pet professional, my aim is to make this much more than just a job; it's about providing the best life for my family, and that dedication shines through in every aspect of my work. With a DBS check, full insurance, and a stack of 5-star reviews from happy clients across multiple platforms (not just on Rover), you can rest assured your furry friend is in the safest hands. My passion for animals runs deep. Before dedicating my life to pet care here, I spent invaluable time working at Ukutula, a lion sanctuary in South Africa. There, I provided round-the-clock care to critically endangered animals, including lions, tigers, zebras, giraffes, and cheetahs. Imagine bottle-feeding lion cubs, helping them through the weaning process, and educating the public about their complex needs – that's the level of dedication and expertise I bring to every pet I care for. My background as a former primary school teacher further reinforces my trustworthiness and ability to provide a nurturing, responsible environment. My personal experience with animals is just as rich. I'm the proud owner of Harry, my rescue cat, whom I found, nursed back to health from an underweight, flea-ridden state, and provided urgent medical care. He's now 8 years old and flourishing! My own experience extends to having owned a springer spaniel and a greyhound, and I've had the pleasure of caring for a diverse range of breeds, including Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Cavapoos, Huskies, Border Collies, a Chihuahua, and many different cats. You can often find me at Crufts and other dog shows, learning new and exciting ways to engage your dog, and I have an extensive library of books dedicated to dog care, breeding, genetics, diet, and dog training (including assistance dog training). I am always growing and learning new things in order to successfully care for and nurture your pets. For the past two years, I've built a solid 5-star reputation on BorrowMyDoggy, another dog care website, consistently earning the trust of local owners to care for their dogs in their absence. Whether your dog needs an adventurous walk, your cat requires loving in-home care, or you're looking for a reliable pet sitter in your own home, I offer a range of services tailored to your needs. My drop-in visits are perfect for puppies who need extra attention or dogs who thrive on consistent check-ins. My unique background means I'm not just a pet sitter; I'm a seasoned animal professional who understands diverse animal behaviors and needs. I'm committed to providing your pet with the highest standard of care, ensuring they're happy, healthy, and loved while you're away. Ready to give your pet the exceptional care they deserve? Let's chat! Unlike other carers who may consider petsitting to be a side hustle, my high level of care and dedication to your animals is my number 1 priority. I'm a dedicated self-employed dog walker, pet sitter, and professional cat and dog carer. I'm working towards building a successful petcare business so that I can dedicate myself 100% to the care of your pets, and ultimately, give my primary school aged daughter a better life (a mum who is home all day caring for your precious pets instead of stuck at the office!). Unlike other carers who may consider petsitting to be a side hustle, my high level of care and dedication to your animals is my number 1 priority. When you choose me, you're choosing someone who can dedicate all their time and energy into loving, caring for, and understanding your every pet's need. I have a full library of dog training (including assistance dog training) manuals, breed specific dog care books, puppy care books, dog encyclopaedias, and cat care books that I read daily and my knowledge is growing exponentially through my dedication to animal husbandry, dog training, and cat care. Should there ever be problem with your pet under my care, I have access to the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers as well as multiple professional petcare networks for me to consult so that I can not only take better care of your pet, but also advise you on next steps. I'm available for dog walking Monday - Friday 9am - 2.30pm, and on evenings and weekends by request - ideal for those of you who are working and too busy for your buddy! For petsitting in your home, drop-ins, and dog training, I can be more flexible to fit your schedule - so just go ahead and ask. ABOUT ME I'm a former primary school teacher and I'm fully DBS checked - so your animals will be safely cared for under my watchful eye, wherever they are. Prior to training as a teacher, I worked in South Africa at Ukutula Lion Sanctuary, where I dedicated my life to the care of lions, cheetahs, tigers, giraffes, zebras and many other wild animals. I bottle fed lion cubs that had been abandoned by their mothers, nursed sick animals, and weaned the cubs onto meat once they were old enough, so that they could be rehabilitated and given a better life, safe from poachers at the sanctuary. Later, in Sri Lanka, I worked as an investigative journalist, assessing the care of elephants in the nation's elephant sanctuaries and zoos - and published my findings in The Sunday Island, the national newspaper of Sri Lanka. Disturbed by what I found, I reported the dank, concrete boxes that the animals were being kept in to the UK charity Born Free - who, a year later, rescued a lion and a black panther from their horrific conditions. After returning back to the UK, and finding that jobs for the zoologically inclined were few and far between, I trained as a primary school teacher. After a few years of teaching, my need to write called to me, and I fell back into journalism, PR, and marketing... but the love for animals never faded. I began dog walking and petsitting on BorrowMyDoggy for free for people in my local community - and I felt so much JOY from working with animals again. Friends and family began to ask me - and pay me - to care for their animals, and recommended me to their friends too. Now, I'm a dedicated self-employed pet professional, so your pet's care is my number 1 priority. YOUR PET'S SAFETY IS MY PRIORITY iPet Level 3 Dog First Aid qualified (coming soon) Fully insured 5 star reviews (on other sites, not just Rover) Experienced former animal sanctuary worker GPS tracking during dog walks Your dog is kept on-lead at all times (unless you give permission otherwise) RELIABLE, HONEST SERVICE If you choose me for dog walking, drop ins, or pet sitting within your own home, you can rest assured that I am fully insured to do so through my business insurance. My insurance also covers me for keys left in my care, meaning you do not need to be home in order for me to help your pets - just leave a key in a safe place (e.g. with a neighbour) and I will return it safely. If inviting me into your home I fully understand that it feels strange to have someone visit. However, I am not at all interested in anything other than your pets (I'm not interested in your personal belongings - and I wouldn't want to risk my business reputation). I've visited many homes when I worked for free via BorrowMyDoggy, and owners there trust me enough to just walk in when they are not home. When I walk your dog, especially for the first time, I can share my location data with you to give you peace of mind about where I have taken your dog. As my business expands, I will be investing in GPS trackers that I can place on your dog, just for additional safety and security. Should you wish to see any identification, please don't hesitate to ask. DOG TRAINING SESSIONS Also available when you book direct - just ask for details! BOARDING WITH ME ***Coming soon!*** Due to popular demand, I will be applying for all appropriate business licences and certifications to open my own home boarding business. I've been doing this for free for a couple of years via BorrowMyDoggy, but it's time to move on and find the perfect location to run this from. Please stay tuned for updates!

“Suzanne is a true dog lover, she is so kind and caring and loves to give dogs the fuss and attention they need! She has a true passion for caring for dogs, as she has her own Scout who is a bundle of energy and fuss, Suze has no problems taking care of her and matching her needs.”

“Toby has walked our two labrador retrievers on several occasions now. He has the knack with dogs; is keen and encouraging; and several times has needed to be firm also. I would highly recommend him.”

jamima g.
“Jamima has been dogsitting our labrador for nearly 3 years now. Arthur (our dog) loves her to pieces, we sometimes joke that he loves her more than he loves us as he's very playful and sweet with her! We couldn't recommend a dog sitter more.”

Rebecca E.
“Becky has stayed in our house to look after our dogs several times even when we had 7 beagles at one point. She has been great with them every time and has stuck to keeping the dogs routine exactly as we’ve asked. She’s great at keeping up with their walks and is confident taking them out on her own. A couple of our dogs had dietary needs and also were medicated for certain things which she took in her stride no problem. She’s also looked after our litters of puppies on a couple of occasions from when they were only two weeks old and again when they were around the 7/8 week mark. She has always left our house exactly as we left it to her so we’ve never had to worry about the house or dogs.”
