About: What sets me apart is my 15 years of hands-on experience caring for and raising pets. Growing up surrounded by animals taught me how to understand their body language, recognize their needs, and make them feel safe and comfortable. I'm responsible, reliable, and respectful of your home, and I'm committed to keeping it secure while ensuring your pets stay happy, loved, and relaxed in their normal routine while you're away. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I currently have a highly flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. I have plenty of open time to dedicate to your pets and am very adaptable based on what you and your animal need. I always keep my availability calendar completely updated so you know exactly when I am free! When I'm watching pets, keeping them safe is always my main focus. I always make sure to follow all the owner's rules exactly, double-check that all the doors and gates are locked tight, and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment. I make sure pets are well-supervised, fed on time, and treated with the same love and respect I give my own animals.

“Willow is amazing, very passionate about animals and it shows with each visit. The pics she sent shows how happy my pets are to see her with every time she drops in! I will certainly have her watch them again!”

About: I am a 25 year old who has grown up with dogs and cats since childhood, from their young stages to their senior years. I have always had a soft spot for animals and have prior experience dog walking as well as pet sitting for both dogs and cats! As a current pet owner of a 13 year old cat, I am eager to care for your pets as my own!! I am currently working M-F as a Behavioral Technician, so my weekday availability is anytime before 9am and anytime after 6pm. My schedule changes on occasion depending on client needs, so if I am ever available for last minute pet visits during afternoon hours, I will not hesitate to reach out. I have open availability on weekends as well as most holidays. If I am ever going to be unavailable due to traveling, I will let you know at least 1-3 months in advance! I will be sure to always greet your fur baby/babies with a warm, loving welcome and ensure they feel safe and comfortable in my care by attending to their needs!
“Samantha was wonderful to our 2 cats. Always sent pictures and videos every day and was very good and gaining their trust - they are usually very shy around new people. Would highly recommend her!”

“Hana took excellent care of our senior kitty, Rue, while we were away. Rue requires medication twice a day, which isn’t always easy, but Hana made sure she got everything she needed right on time. She also sent thoughtful updates every day, which gave us so much peace of mind. We highly recommend Hana and would absolutely book with her again!”

“Dominique always does a terrific job of taking care of my cat. She sends me detailed updates and pictures, lets me know his behavior, and keeps an eye on his food, water and litter status”

“Radyah was great!! Our kitties have a complicated feeding routine because they are naughty and she was awesome about it. Took notes and pictures and gave us really helpful updates while we were away. Highly recommend Radyah’s services for your pets!!”

About: I've always been a natural caregiver. I've had pets since I was born, took care of my grandmother in her final years, and I take care of patients of all ages everyday as a healthcare worker. My goal is always to look out for the underdog (pun intended). I work at a dental clinic nearby with nights, weekends, and every other Friday off. My 15 minute commute allows me to pop home if I need to let our pup out. I have plenty of time before and after work for walks and snuggles too! I have a fenced in backyard, a super laid back 9 year old lab mix, and two chill cats who pretty much keep to themselves. We have plenty of extra space for crating if need be! And if for some reason your furry friend needs and entirely secluded area, we can provide that as well.
“Somaya is great! One of my doggos threw up and she was very responsive, gave great detail, and cleaned it up. Doggos is fine and she also followed up later in the night to confirm he was still okay. Def recommend!”

“Finding Melissa and having her help care for and pamper Sky during these days has been a true blessing. Both my cat Sky and my family clicked with her immediately. Melissa is incredibly loving and empathetic, as well as helpful and proactive. She kept us posted on everything. We are so grateful for her excellent support. The fact that she is bilingual adds even more value to her work. Thank you so much, Melissa! 🙏🏼”

“This is the second time we’ve used Robert as a pet sitter. We appreciate the care he takes with our fur babies and the updates he sends through the app. He suggested we consider using a slow feeder for our one dog who gobbles up her food which was a great idea that I had never thought of before!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Triangle
Hana did an amazing job taking care of our dogs and cat for the weekend! She arranged to come and meet the dogs before hand, and was prompt to her visits! We received lots of updates and pictures throughout the day. Our pups were definitely well taken care of while we were gone! I’d recommend Hana to anyone looking for a pet sitter! She’s great!
Samantha was an absolute professional who our two cats loved. Rylie and Leo had fun, were in a great mood when we got home, and our home was in better condition than when we had left it. Even with short notice Samantha helped us out and was flexible around our schedules, we will be asking for her help again whenever we travel. 5/5.

Katie has been such a help to us with our cats. One is very senior and deaf and Katie takes such good care of him. She communicates with us to keep us up to date on how they are doing and we feel secure knowing they are in good hands. I so appreciate her caring for our cats!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
