About: Through volunteering at an animal shelter and caring for the pets of friends and family, I’ve gained experience caring for animals with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I genuinely love animals and enjoy spending time with them, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I believe consistency is one of the best ways to help pets feel at ease, so I do my best to maintain their regular routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions you provide. I also keep pet parents updated with photos and messages throughout each visit, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. In addition to caring for your pet, I’m happy to help with small household tasks, such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, or tidying up after your pet, to help make your return home as smooth as possible. I look forward to meeting you and your pet and providing the same level of care and attention I’d want for my own. I’m current in school virtually in the afternoons and work part-time closing shift. My general availability is from 9am - 4:30pm. If you need an earlier or later time for walking or care we can discuss as well! About: I’ve had my own cat for three years, so I’m super comfortable with daily pet care and understanding different moods and personalities. I’ve also taken care of several dogs, another cat, and even a few lizards a couple of times, so I’m used to handling all kinds of animals. Whether it’s keeping dogs happy and active, giving cats the space and attention they need, or making sure reptiles stay in the right environment, I always try to make pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and I treat every pet like they’re part of the family. I have time from the early morning or until 11 at night. I'm working full-time so during the day would be hard to make a visit but for emergencies I have several family members that are available and can drive. My cat (Monkey) likes going outside but he cant go out because he'll get into trouble or get bugs, so I watch him for a couple minutes as he soaks up some sun or sniffs around. He also likes being combed and watching outside from various windows around the house. I set up little perches with comfortable sitting or laying spots. For other friends that don't live with me, I'll ask for their favorite games, toys, or treats to make them feel like I'm a fun and loving uncle. I love interacting with them as much as I can making them feel that they are special.
“Somaya is great! One of my doggos threw up and she was very responsive, gave great detail, and cleaned it up. Doggos is fine and she also followed up later in the night to confirm he was still okay. Def recommend!”

“Dominique always does a great job taking care of my cat, but she went the extra mile when his auto-feeder wasn't feeding him. Her reliability is a big reason she's a terrific sitter!”

“Samantha was wonderful! We scheduled 3 daily visits for our very social cats and she ket us updated at each visit. Our male Tabby had urinary issues resulting in PU surgery and Samantha made sure Beau drank plenty of water. Our Tuxedo, Poppy, who is notoriously shy even made a couple of appearances while we were gone. Samantha did a great job caring for our babies and we will definitely book her services again!”

“Bethany took excellent care of my dogs! She was able to effortlessly take care of each dogs’ particular needs and was very accommodating of all their special instructions. She was also very communicative and punctual. I would absolutely recommend Bethany and plan to use her again in the future!”

“Radyah was great!! Our kitties have a complicated feeding routine because they are naughty and she was awesome about it. Took notes and pictures and gave us really helpful updates while we were away. Highly recommend Radyah’s services for your pets!!”

About: Hi fellow pet lovers! I have an affinity for dogs & cats and love each and every one like it's my own. I was raised with many dogs around the house as a child and it is the reason I am able to be the best fur lover I am today! When deciding to make a Rover profile, it was a combination of doing what I love for animals, while having fun outside my typical 9-5 office job. You and your best friend will love me because I have over 4 years of pet care experience; I dearly love animals & I'm looking to make more four-legged friends and human friends to boot! ^-^ I have gained plentiful experience within various customer service/ front end roles that have prepared me to always go above and beyond my customers expectations. Dogs will love my high activity level, and ability to gauge when they need to relax. Owners will love that I am diligent with communication giving them updates about their fur babies as if they were my own. If this sounds like we'd be a good fit, please contact me so we can set up a meet and greet!
“Mandi was incredibly perfect for my family! I booked her for my parents while I was a few states away, and Mandi was awesome at communicating and setting up a visit with my parents! Their cat (was originally my cat, but my other cats would chase her) has a habit of grabbing her tail which leaves some minor scratches and requires some ointment application. Mandi applied it as needed and let us know when that was! She was also able to adjust her visits as my parents ended up leaving later than anticipated, and got back a day early. I would most certainly recommend Mandi for your pet sitting needs!”
“Gregory and Yessica were awesome with our two kitties! They were extremely communicative, and always completed everything on our list. You can tell they are animal lovers. Will be booking again!”

Dominique was absolutely wonderful with my cats while we were away. She made sure they got some human interaction and took care of any extra things that needed to be done, like vacuuming the kitchen to clean to cat litter and hairballs my cats left around the house. She also stopped by last minute for me on two occasions, once to make sure the automatic feeders were working and a second time to put some deliveries inside. I would absolutely recommend her for caring for your animals!

Keith was great. Even though my cat was anxious and not easy to administer medicine to, he was calm, kind and was able to giver her the medicine. He was highly attentive to the notes I provided for the care of my cat. He provided a summary of the visit and sent me pictures every day. He is definitely a star sitter. I look forward to using him again.

Zack was AMAZING!! He answered any questions/concerns I had with care and took excellent care of my fur babies. I have never used a sitter service before, so I was cautious and a bit nervous, but his attentiveness with my animals, had me worry-free on my whole vacation. Felt like I was leaving them with a trusted friend. I highly recommend him if you need a sitter. 100000/10

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
