About: Animals are a special interest of mine and I’m hoping to eventually study to become a veterinarian one day! I own 4 pets, 3 being rescues who I love dearly. I currently have a flexible schedule and have plenty of time to engage and play with your pets! Feel free to reach out to me for any questions or concerns as needed. I maintain a routine with my animals with feedings and walks (dog), and also include play time to ensure they are getting attention in addition to care. I follow a similar routine when caring for others’ pets while also following whatever special instructions are required.

I highly recommend Ashley! She was confident and comfortable handling my large Saint Bernard, which gave me so much peace of mind. She had no problems walking such a big dog, kept me updated with great communication, and sent plenty of pictures during the visit. She was incredibly friendly, reliable, and it was obvious she genuinely cared for my pup. I will definitely book with her again!

About: I’ve had the privilege to be a friend to many furr babies. I love to hang out with dogs and spend time at the dog park. I have a lot of love for the babies Very flexible at the moment. Don’t hesitate to reach out to see if I’m available last minute! Weekends are here and there but it never hurts to ask! I have a fenced in yard and live 1 mile from a dog park which I frequent. I have 2 dogs of my own who get along with others very well! If needed, crates are available. There are endless toy options for everyone! I struggle with trust in someone who’s looking after my babies when I’m not with them. I want to provide the ease of mind while caring for your babies when you’re not.

About: I have a love for animals that has driven me to seek out experiences and advice that has helped me gain an abundance of pet care knowledge, despite growing up without any furry friends. I am a young and active person, able to keep up with the most energetic of dogs. I am also quite detail-oriented, and will follow your pet care details to a T, ensuring your pet is happy, healthy, and safe in my care. I am a college student home for the summer, meaning I am able to care for your pet morning, afternoon, or evening! If I am unable to do so, I will ensure to respond to your message promptly. I will not be able to let your pet into my own home due to some of my family members having allergies. In your home, I will remain respectful of your space and follow any given care instructions perfectly to ensure a happy and healthy pet!

Samantha was fantastic, one of the best dog sitters I have ever worked with. I have a very timid put and she understood the assignment the moment she stepped out of her car and now I have a sitter I can call on when I need to take care of Buxley. So thankful for finding her!

About: Through volunteering at an animal shelter and caring for the pets of friends and family, I’ve gained experience caring for animals with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I genuinely love animals and enjoy spending time with them, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I believe consistency is one of the best ways to help pets feel at ease, so I do my best to maintain their regular routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions you provide. I also keep pet parents updated with photos and messages throughout each visit, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. In addition to caring for your pet, I’m happy to help with small household tasks, such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, or tidying up after your pet, to help make your return home as smooth as possible. I look forward to meeting you and your pet and providing the same level of care and attention I’d want for my own. I’m current in school virtually in the afternoons and work part-time closing shift. My general availability is from 9am - 4:30pm. If you need an earlier or later time for walking or care we can discuss as well! Olivia was great! We loved her punctuality, she showed a few minutes early to each appointment including our meet and greet. She was amazing with our 13.5 year old German Shepherd, and provided detailed updates for each walk. We rarely leave our fur baby alone due to his age and health, and Olivia helped our minds be at ease during our time away. I definitely recommend Olivia and would absolutely use her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
