About: Everybody knows me by the dog lover. If I can take every dog in the world I would. I have 2 years of experience at a dog daycare. As well as a years with my own dog. That’s not including the animals I grew up with. I can take care of all ages from Puppy to senior. If your dog can’t go up and down flights of stairs I would suggest your place. I am currently working part time at a dog daycare. I’ll be available for boarding any day out the week. I’ll be able to do 2 dogs a night depending on the size if we board at my house. I am able to dog sitt and board at your house or mines. We will go on hikes and do daily training. I will proved Beding and blankets. As well as water and if you don’t provide the food I can. I am able to walk your dog multiple times threw out the day as well as going on long walks. I do not live in a house so I don’t have a fenced yard. Your dog will be fed 2-3 times a day depending on what you prefer. And water will be available threw out the day. No matter what your fur baby will be treated at my house the same way I would treat them at your house with love and affection.
“Dominique did a terrific job again of taking care of my cat. She was patient with his standoffishness and let him dictate the terms of their encounters. She went above and beyond my expectations of a sitter.”

“Somaya is great! One of my doggos threw up and she was very responsive, gave great detail, and cleaned it up. Doggos is fine and she also followed up later in the night to confirm he was still okay. Def recommend!”

“Allie does an AMAZING job with my pets! This is the second time she has done some drop-ins while I have been away on work trips. I have recently added to my pet family with the addition of Pumpkin, my cat, and Allie jumped right in with no hesitation. She gives detailed updates and photos for every visit. She is quick to reach out with any concerns and is quick to respond to messages! Allie is 100% a trusted sitter for my little family and I will continue to book and recommend her services!!”

About: I have been taking care of the animals of close friends and family since I was 19 years old. In addition to taking care of cats and dogs, I am also an experienced farm hand. I have taken care of horses, chickens, donkeys, and Alpacas. Whatever your pet needs are, I can do it. I am currently doing volunteer work on Tuesdays, but am available every other day of the week. Early mornings and afternoons work best for me, but I am available later in the evening when needed I can do feedings, walks, drop ins, and full night stays. I can also administer oral medication. I have a dog of my own and she gets daily medication I give her myself.
About: I grew in a household full of pets but large dogs to small and I’ve also had cats all my life. I’ve dealt with cats and dogs from every age and I’m more than excited to work with you and your fur baby! I’m currently working during the day but able to do anything during the evening/night. I can do overnight during the week especially if wifi is available for me to work from the home. On the weekends, I have no restrictions! Love , safety , and care are my top priorities. Positive training is how I interact. I will not be physically disciplining any pets but still will maintain control of the situation.
About: Hi fellow pet lovers! I have an affinity for dogs & cats and love each and every one like it's my own. I was raised with many dogs around the house as a child and it is the reason I am able to be the best fur lover I am today! When deciding to make a Rover profile, it was a combination of doing what I love for animals, while having fun outside my typical 9-5 office job. You and your best friend will love me because I have over 4 years of pet care experience; I dearly love animals & I'm looking to make more four-legged friends and human friends to boot! ^-^ I have gained plentiful experience within various customer service/ front end roles that have prepared me to always go above and beyond my customers expectations. Dogs will love my high activity level, and ability to gauge when they need to relax. Owners will love that I am diligent with communication giving them updates about their fur babies as if they were my own. If this sounds like we'd be a good fit, please contact me so we can set up a meet and greet!
“Let me start this off by saying my animals are my babies and they are my world! From the moment this young lady walked into my home. I knew they would be in good hands! I have a house full. On this visit, Peyton was taking care of four cats and one very rambunctious dog. She handled it like a champ and my dog and my cats still look for her after her visit. I needed she was there, anything I needed to change Without batting and I she did it. She’s very warm, very loving and very responsible! My fur babies loved her! If you’re looking for someone That you can leave with your babies and not look back knowing that they are very well taken care of then definitely Peyton is your gal! We we’re gone for an extended period of time and I have never left my dog ever. Actually I don’t think she even noticed I was gone lol. We love Peyton and would love to put her in one of our suitcases and take her to Florida with us! Thank you sweetheart for doing an amazing job and I know five little fur babies that are going to miss you very much! We will Definitely spread the word and you will be our go to Gal When and if we ever come back to Virginia’💜💜”

“If you are looking for dependable, trustworthy and accommodating, Arianna is the right choice! She takes great care of our Golden, and she goes above and beyond. Glad we found her and we would recommend her to those that care the most for their pets.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Arkendale. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 93% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
