About: Hi! I’m Cami, and I live in Fredericksburg with my husband, daughter, and our two cats. I’m a preschool teacher and have been caring for pets since I was 12 years old. Over the years, family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their pets while they’re away. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pet and make sure they’re comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I’m currently on maternity leave, which allows me to be available full-time over the next few weeks for pet care, boarding, and drop-in visits. During the school year, I work as a full-time preschool teacher from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., but I’m available before and after work, overnight, and on weekends. I’m happy to work around my teaching schedule to provide reliable care for your pets! We have plenty of space around our home for walks and outdoor time. Our two cats are very friendly and comfortable around other animals. I’m also able to accommodate crating if needed and can care for multiple pets when appropriate.

About: Hi there! My name is Sam and I have experience sitting for all types of animals. From cuddly Pyrenees, and scary-smart German pinschers, to spunky chinchillas, their best cat friends, and curious pythons. I have been through partial behavioral training for dogs (and their humans), and have experience with animal hospice situations, as well as behaviorally aggressive dogs. I prefer to keep the animal's care as consistent as possible. The more details you have of your preferred method of walking, reward, or preparation habits, the better. Trust and care are my number one goals when it comes to animal sitting. Not just with the four legged babies, but with the parents as well. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with your care provider, and what a treat it is to know that you can trust someone with the care of your loved ones. Also, aren't dogs just perfect? I work for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and am currently on telework, so my weekly availability is early morning, and late afternoon. I also volunteer at the Old Dominion Humaine Society and occasionally foster for them at my house. I have one <1 year old puppy, and I have a home with a large yard but no fence. That means all foster dogs get leash walked always and there are many mind teaser toys for rainy days. I feed in crates and make it a safe space for them to decompress.
