“Jen is absolutely the BEST petsitter you will ever experience. My cat is very high maintenance with her attitude and her massive hair (forest cat). Upon my arrival home kitty was calm, very content , and had an extensive grooming! My home was exceptionally clean with the removal of litter and cat food cans. Jen met me before the sitting dates and she was extremely knowledgeable . She has tons of common sense--- You will not need to give her pages of instruction. She GETS IT ! In addition, my plants were watered during this 94 degree weather , mail was placed neatly inside, and trash cans were taken to the curb . Photos are sent to you at each visit. About: I have raised my own puppy, Anna, who is 7 years old now! Along with that, I have grown up besides 3 dogs and 1 cat. (also 4 hamsters 🐹) There is literally nothing I haven’t seen/cleaned up/handled. I will love your pet as if it is my own! About: Owning a Giant Breed can have its limitations when it comes to pet care, especially in a pinch. My experience & passion for larger breeds provides you with peace of mind that your family pet will have a safe and comfortable experience that caters to their size, energy levels and sometimes timid temperament and sensitive needs. My goal is to offer services that allow you a night out or vacay get away feeling guilt free & secure in the care that's being provided to your gentle giant fur baby. I am available late evenings on Monday & Tuesdays. I am currently available for dog walking or dog visits/drop ins on weekends. After the holiday season I will be offering boarding services 7 days a week. I have a 1 year old female English Lab. She is crate trained & also free roaming. She is off leash trained and always happy to have friends to play with! She also has been around senior/more timid dogs and respects their space and energy levels. Loves kids and all humans in general. We cant wait to meet your pup!

About: I can’t remember the last time I’ve lived without dogs. I’ve been dog sitting for family friends for years now and love love love spending time with them. I currently don’t have a job so i’m free majority of the time! Very flexible schedule. I can do potty breaks during the day and so on! I’ve cared for my own dog at home for many many years and I’d do the same for any other pup! I can do overnight visits and more.

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life and have spent most of my adult life volunteering for 2 animal rescue organizations. I fostered over 170 cats for my last organization (that was over a period of 15 years!) caring for all ages as well as taking in some with medical needs. I'm skilled at administering medications of all sorts and we currently have an asthmatic cat that takes an inhaler. I've been a "cat person" my whole life, but love dogs too! My husband and I love the large breeds, in particular Mastiffs. We currently have 3 cats plus a Mastiff who is the biggest baby. :-) We recently moved to Delaware (from just outside of DC) and I'm looking to re-start pet sitting as I LOVE meeting new furbabies and taking care of them. I used to pet sit in VA but put it to the side when fostering took up most of my free time. I recently took an early retirement and have plenty of free time so can offer flexibility. Since I'm married my husband helps takes care of our own cats/dog, and he understands my love of animals and desire to help others. About: I helped raise dogs for over 12 years. I also have grown up for dogs and know what it takes to take care of them. I live with 2 dogs and 2 cats and am constantly taking care of them. I make sure they are played with, fed correctly, and loved! I have an invisible fence with 1/2 an acre of land which gives your animal plenty of room to play and room in a safe environment! In a clients home, I can adjust activity based on the area!

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with dogs and cats, and now having two rescue dogs of my own, I just can't imagine life without them. I haven't used Rover before, but I've spent years watching friends' dogs and cats whenever they needed someone they could trust. I've raised puppies, cared for kittens, and even handled medications when needed, so I'm no stranger to what animals need to feel safe and loved. I come to your home so your babies can stay in their own space, in their own routine. Every animal is different and I take the time to get to know them. I'm always happy to set up a meet-up before booking so we can connect, your pet can get comfortable with me, and we can make sure it feels like the right fit for everyone I recently graduated from Arcadia University with my Master's in Physician Assistant Studies. While I study for my boards and prepare to move back home to Washington, I have time on my hands and want to spend it doing something I truly enjoy. Right now my days are completely open, which means your dog gets my full attention. No rushing off, no squeezing them in between a busy schedule. I'm there as long as they need me. As the mom of two very needy rescue dogs, I completely understand wanting your babies to have someone around as much as possible, and right now, I'm in a position to give exactly that! Since I will be in your home, my first priority is to respect whatever routine and rules you have in place for your pet. I am happy to provide as much or as little entertainment, snuggles, or space as your fur baby needs. When it comes to walks, I'm no stranger to dogs that pull on the leash or get reactive around other dogs. I've handled strong, reactive animals before and I feel confident and calm managing them.

About: As dog owners, we understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pets. We have two dogs and truly enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds. We know that pets are family, and we strive to provide dependable care and regular updates so you can have peace of mind. About: I have cared for a wide variety of dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. Some advantages I have over others is uncommon patience, and I have met very few domestic animals in my life that haven’t warmed up to me with ease. My wife and I have very recently had to care for our elder dog of 13 years but we unfortunately lost him to cancer. I am an Air Force Veteran and my wife is currently the President of a local VFW Auxiliary. We have lived, worked, and even owned business in New Castle County for almost 15 years. We are honest and upstanding people who happen to love, love, love animals. I do have a full time job but have some flexibility. For the most part I am available after 3 every weekday and available most weekends. I can even accommodate early morning visits if given notice. I can’t care for client’s pets in my home because of my own dog, but my first ironclad rule is to follow the pet owner’s instructions to the letter when it comes to theirs. I also maintain respect for the owner’s home as rule #2…. then all of the remaining effort is put into making sure that pet is purring or wagging while I’m there. I understand it takes a considerable leap of trust to allow someone in your home, but I will go out of my way to make sure that I earn that trust.

About: I’ve been enjoying helping my kids care for their dogs and cats creating a strong bond while having so much fun with their dogs and cats. I have a flexible schedule to care for pets while providing a safe environment to stay in and keep to their schedule like their own parents with me. I have a fenced yard under my supervision and have fun playing with my own pets! Any suggestions that your pet needs will be appreciated in order to create a bond and trust while you are not there will be perfect to make your pet’s and your day!

About: I had 2 dogs, a shibu-chi mix and shitzu females that act like adorable little sisters. My sister also owns 2 dogs, a little black poodle dog and pitbull-terrier mix, both of whom I love so very much! I’ve had to petsit for her many years, so I am familiar working with big dogs. In the Philippines, I had a grey puppy named Jamie, that was a very rare and intelligent breed! By the time I had to fly back to the states, he was potty-trained and knew basic commands(sit, stay, paw, etc.) I hope to own my own big dog someday! I make room for pet-sitting at the end of the week, usually Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I would make the schedule fit into my calendar that works for the owner and make it apart of my daily routine. In the clients home, I’m only going to do what is required and requested for the petsitting time period. If there are any additional notes that I need to know, particularly for the pets needs then I will need to know before I arrive at the location. I implement a set schedule to ensure I can meet the requirements of all of my clients accordingly and efficiently, so that I’m sure I’m prepared for anything in the owners absence.

For my own dog, he gets fed 2x a day, let out multiple times a day (3-6x) including a walk, and out in the back yard. He takes a monthly medication for preventative treatment, and also an as needed allergy pill. I make sure there is water in his bowl at all times and that he has toys available and easy to access. I’m observant, friendly, & intuitive towards other pets in need of my care and follow any given instructions accordingly, but will give extra care if the animal needs it. I’ll fill water, give extra pets, and take my time figuring out why an animal might be hesitant to go outside or do something out of routine. Being patient and communicative with animals & their owners is key for success in my opinion.
