About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life and have spent most of my adult life volunteering for 2 animal rescue organizations. I fostered over 170 cats for my last organization (that was over a period of 15 years!) caring for all ages as well as taking in some with medical needs. I'm skilled at administering medications of all sorts and we currently have an asthmatic cat that takes an inhaler. I've been a "cat person" my whole life, but love dogs too! My husband and I love the large breeds, in particular Mastiffs. We currently have 3 cats plus a Mastiff who is the biggest baby. :-) We recently moved to Delaware (from just outside of DC) and I'm looking to re-start pet sitting as I LOVE meeting new furbabies and taking care of them. I used to pet sit in VA but put it to the side when fostering took up most of my free time. I recently took an early retirement and have plenty of free time so can offer flexibility. Since I'm married my husband helps takes care of our own cats/dog, and he understands my love of animals and desire to help others. About: I have owned dogs since childhood, ranging from 60lbs to 150lbs. I have walked dogs and dog sat since I was a teenager. I have 3 dogs of my own, 3 of which are XL, and always have a foster dog as well. I am very active and would be happy to provide your dog with extra activity like hiking or running if you want them to come along for an adventure. I have experience with pet therapy for the last 15 years as well. If you are boarding with me, during the work week, I come home for lunch so my pets don’t ever go more than five hours without a let out. I can accommodate early morning or later in the evening walks or let outs on weekdays. Weekends are very open for me! I am able to accommodate dog friendly dogs for boarding who can integrate into our pack. I have a male Cane Corso, a male Great Dane, and a female Lab. They are all fixed and all dog and cat friendly. I can also accommodate non-dog friendly dogs as long as they are crate trained and comfortable in a room with busy toys and treats. They will still receive one on one attention and play time. For drop-ins, I am happy to utilize your yard for let outs and/or play time or very happy to walk your dog/s. For boarding, I have a fully fenced in portion of yard. I do not live in a neighborhood, so if your dog requires walks while boarding, I live 5 minutes from a park. I have cared for senior dogs as well as special needs dogs. I am very comfortable administering medications and sub q fluids. My one dog received daily fluids. Pet care is essentially my whole life :) With a multi dog household, life revolves around them. Their needs are prioritized and whatever accommodations need to be made can be made. Happy to provide your dogs with walks, playing tug, mental stimulation or just snuggles. If your dog is active, I’d be thrilled to take them for hikes or runs.

“Jen is absolutely the BEST petsitter you will ever experience. My cat is very high maintenance with her attitude and her massive hair (forest cat). Upon my arrival home kitty was calm, very content , and had an extensive grooming! My home was exceptionally clean with the removal of litter and cat food cans. Jen met me before the sitting dates and she was extremely knowledgeable . She has tons of common sense--- You will not need to give her pages of instruction. She GETS IT ! In addition, my plants were watered during this 94 degree weather , mail was placed neatly inside, and trash cans were taken to the curb . Photos are sent to you at each visit. About: Hello, my name is Jenny! I have my bachelor's degree in Pre-Veterinary Science and worked as a Vet-Tech for over 4 years. I have experience with senior dogs and can give oral or subcutaneous medications such as diabetes injections or seizure medication. I am able to do nail trims, paw pad fur clipping, ear cleaning, brushing, or simple baths. Also, I have ample experience with stubborn dog breeds such as huskies! I’m currently working from home and can be with your pups as much as they need me to be! I usually will let them out 5-6 times a day to run in the yard. If they need anything else or prefer walks, I can offer them as well! I have a half acre fenced in backyard for your furry friend to run free (perfect for pets that do not have a fenced yard at home). I am set back far from any main roads and live on a farm surrounded by open land. I currently have three huskies that are all dog friendly but if your pup doesn’t really like to play or is older I have two half doors installed in my home to keep my pets separated from your pets if preferred. I also have two entrances to the fenced in yard so they do not have to interact. Dog crates readily available if necessary. My dogs are all up-to-date on vaccines and take monthly heartworm & flea/tick preventatives.

About: Ive taken care of many animals my whole life ive owned a few dogs one of which was born deaf and i had one who went blind at an early age so i know how to handle special need dogs and other pets and have been dog-sitting and cat-sitting for many people since I was 12, I love all animals and will take care of them as if they were my own. I am experienced with young puppies and senior dogs. I am also experienced with dogs that suffer from separation anxiety. I am also very good at sending lots of pictures and daily updates of your fur babies! I am currently working part time at a med spa and I make my own schedule so I will have plenty of flexible time in my day to spend with your pets for whenever you need. I have 2 dogs of my own at home although I do not offer other pets to stay at my home due to having a sensitive senior dog of my own who was born deaf and is now partially blind. I will however be able to stay at your home with your fur babies and even do overnight and extended visits for however long you will need them to be watched. I also will clean up any mess your pets will make because I know how chaotic it may be so please leave out any cleaning supplies I may need.

About: I am a pet lover , i have had dogs and cats ever since I was a little girl , I love to take them on walks and play with them I currently have 5 Chihuahuas. I love all times of animals small big anything,I am amazing with animals I enjoy dog walking and am okay with dogs that have not been leash trained yet. I'm watchful and attentive of your pets so you don't have to worry about any cars or bumps , an bruises with other dogs. While I'm pet sitting it watching your dog they will have my full attention and help throughout the day or stroll! I look forward to enjoying time with each individual dog that may cross my path. I’m currently a stay at home mom so I have more than enough time for your pets to give them cuddles and plenty of play time. I don’t have a fenced in yard so my dog goes out on a long lead in the backyard so he has plenty of space to run and be free as he can be.
