“Mike did a great job for us. We were away for an extended vacation. He kept us well informed about our cats but also things at our home. A neighbor left mail on our porch and an outdoor ornament blew off our house. He notified us on both issues. The ornaments were brought in and he checked our community mailbox to confirm our mail was being held by USPS. During our vacation we received a boil water notice; We informed Mike and he brought bottled water for our pets. It’s the second time we used him and I’m sure we will be using his services again.”

About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. I can help with house training, and basic puppy skills. I have probably had about 100 plus puppies in the last 10 years. I have a facebook account for the rescue and you can see all that My Volunteers and I have done over the years. Dogs must be neutered or spayed. Pet care has been a way of life for me for the last 13 years, I own an animal rescue but am taking a 2 year hiatus, but miss having dogs around all day. I am home 90% of the time, so I am there to let dogs out who might not be potty trained or sometimes we just lay on the couch watching TV and getting rubbed. First, I have always shown love and care to every dog that I have met and all these dogs have responded in a positive manner. Second, I believe in a healthy lifestyle for my dogs (as well as myself, haha) and take my dogs for walks everyday, and feeding them their recommended portion of dog food with minimal people food. Third, keeping my dogs on a daily routine helps tremendously as well as their owners. Growing up I have had a Schnauzer (Mickey), Springer Spaniel (Snickers), Springer Spaniel (Princess), two box turtles (Fred and Wilma), and currently own two Puggles (Liberty & Bell). Neighbors and friends would rely on me to look after their pets and make sure they were taking care of. I’m currently in the military, but my shift is from 7-3 Monday-Friday. About: My name is Taryn and I have lived with animals all my life. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, horses, fish, chickens, and small snakes. I have two young adult daughters that live at home and share the same passion as I do. I do have a 7yr old mix of my own that enjoys playing with others. If your dog happens to not be dog friendly, no worries; I provide in home dog care, drop in visits and dog walks! My home is clean, quiet, and pet proof. I have a large back yard with plenty of room for your best friend to run and play. We even have trails nearby where we can go on fun adventures! Pets will have free roam of the house so they don’t feel left out, after all they are apart of the family. Your pet(s) will never be alone or feel scared with me as their sitter. I work full time during the week. But I’m available weeknights for drop-ins, walks, and daycare. I’m available Fri-Sunday for the above as well as in home and in my home boarding. I have a large yard and a friendly dog for your pup to play with. If needed, I also have a crate. I don’t like crating my dog so prefer not to crate yours unless instructed by you for specific reasons. Of course they’ll be let out often to use the bathroom and have unlimited access to water. In your home, your pet will be let out when needed/scheduled if they have one, played with, and loved on. No matter where we are, my goal is to make your pet feel safe.

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”
