“Mike did a great job for us. We were away for an extended vacation. He kept us well informed about our cats but also things at our home. A neighbor left mail on our porch and an outdoor ornament blew off our house. He notified us on both issues. The ornaments were brought in and he checked our community mailbox to confirm our mail was being held by USPS. About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. I can help with house training, and basic puppy skills. I have probably had about 100 plus puppies in the last 10 years. I have a facebook account for the rescue and you can see all that My Volunteers and I have done over the years. Pet care has been a way of life for me for the last 10 years, I own an animal rescue, but am taking a 2 year hiatus, but miss haveing dogs around all day. About: Although my family has never owned a dog, I have always loved taking care of my aunts, neighbors, and family friends dogs. I always make sure to pay attention to detail when watching a dog and meet each dogs needs whether that be a walk, playing with a toy, belly rubs, or even just relaxing. As a part-time graduate student at USM, I will have time during the day for a dog walk, or to check-in on your pup! I will be available on most weekends for house and dog sitting. First, I have always shown love and care to every dog that I have met and all these dogs have responded in a positive manner. They’re communicative, provided a crate (which made our lives so much easier). They were flexible when we were a few minutes late to pickup and were totally understanding. Jen was in constant communication with me; staying with her was basically a vacation for my boys; she sent me #allthephotos; she updated me multiple times a day; she made sure my special needs baby got all the special attention he requires; and when I picked the boys up my little Sammy was still watching Jen as we were about to leave. “Cynthia was great with my 1 1/2 year old Sheltie. She allowed us to meet her and her pup a couple of weeks before our vacation, to make sure we all were comfortable with each other. Drop off day was hard for us since our Sheltie is only 1.5 year’s old and a rescue, we didn’t want to stress her out too much. Cynthia has lots of experience with rescues and was quick to pick up on her needs. During the vacation she sent us many videos and pictures, which helped a great deal. On pick up day she sent us home with homemade treats, bully stick, and a freshly laundered dog bed. I will definitely use Rover and Cynthia again!!!!”

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay.
