About: CURRENTLY NOT TAKING ANY FUR-BABIES. Hi and welcome. My husband and I love animals. We currently have one dog, Brandy, and one cat, Smokey. Both my husband and I work during the week. We are home all day during the weekend. Our house is not big, but we have a lot of love for your furry members of your family. About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life and have spent most of my adult life volunteering for 2 animal rescue organizations. I fostered over 170 cats for my last organization (that was over a period of 15 years!) caring for all ages as well as taking in some with medical needs. I'm skilled at administering medications of all sorts and we currently have an asthmatic cat that takes an inhaler. I've been a "cat person" my whole life, but love dogs too! My husband and I love the large breeds, in particular Mastiffs. We currently have 3 cats plus a Mastiff who is the biggest baby. :-) We recently moved to Delaware (from just outside of DC) and I'm looking to re-start pet sitting as I LOVE meeting new furbabies and taking care of them. I used to pet sit in VA but put it to the side when fostering took up most of my free time. I recently took an early retirement and have plenty of free time so can offer flexibility. “Jen is absolutely the BEST petsitter you will ever experience. My cat is very high maintenance with her attitude and her massive hair (forest cat). Upon my arrival home kitty was calm, very content , and had an extensive grooming! My home was exceptionally clean with the removal of litter and cat food cans. Jen met me before the sitting dates and she was extremely knowledgeable . She has tons of common sense--- You will not need to give her pages of instruction. She GETS IT ! In addition, my plants were watered during this 94 degree weather , mail was placed neatly inside, and trash cans were taken to the curb . Photos are sent to you at each visit. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I trained my dog as a puppy & have been a reliable dog sitter for friends & family. I have a flexible work schedule and work locally!
