“This is my first time using Rover. I could not have had a better experience. Raven was amazing. Timely. Communicative. Friendly. Genuine in her services. What a relief it was to know that my pet (2) cats were receiving excellent TLC and treats. Will call on her again if needed.”

“Love the photos! This was our first time using anyone for a pop in visit. This was totally last minute! Asked Paul and his fiance last night at 7pm to please help us, and without hesitation they came right over and met our boys. They did a pop in visit today and they were wonderful!!! Will definitely use them again :) They were great!!!! Thank you both so much !”

About: Hey, I’m Courtney, a passionate animal lover with hands on experience in veterinary care and a deep commitment to keeping pets happy, safe, and loved. I’m a recent graduate from Delaware State University and I work as a Veterinary Assistant at a local animal hospital in Middletown, DE. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities from cuddly to high energy. My experience includes everything from administering medications, handing emergencies, senior and puppy care, daily walks, playtime, and providing lots of belly rubs! Whether you’re looking for drop in, dog walking or overnight care, I bring professional compassionate care tailored to your pet’s needs. I treat every dog like family because that’s what they deserve. Let me know how I can help give you peace of mind while you’re away. I’m excited to meet your furry friend. Im working full time as a veterinary assistant, but I’m still available to your pet depending on your needs morning or nights to play with them and give them care. I have an extra crate at home. In clients home I like to establish trust and bonding with pets. Maintain a routine if any for the pet and provide good stimulation.
“This is our third time booking Jenna and she’s wonderful with our cat Sheldon. I trust her so much with my baby and will book her again, for sure. She’s professional, caring and an excellent care-giver.”

About: My name is Taryn and I have lived with animals all my life. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, horses, fish, chickens, and small snakes. I have two young adult daughters that live at home and share the same passion as I do. I do have a 7yr old mix of my own that enjoys playing with others. If your dog happens to not be dog friendly, no worries; I provide in home dog care, drop in visits and dog walks! My home is clean, quiet, and pet proof. I have a large back yard with plenty of room for your best friend to run and play. We even have trails nearby where we can go on fun adventures! Pets will have free roam of the house so they don’t feel left out, after all they are apart of the family. Your pet(s) will never be alone or feel scared with me as their sitter. I work full time during the week. But I’m available weeknights for drop-ins, walks, and daycare. I’m available Fri-Sunday for the above as well as in home and in my home boarding. I have a large yard and a friendly dog for your pup to play with. If needed, I also have a crate. I don’t like crating my dog so prefer not to crate yours unless instructed by you for specific reasons. Of course they’ll be let out often to use the bathroom and have unlimited access to water. In your home, your pet will be let out when needed/scheduled if they have one, played with, and loved on. No matter where we are, my goal is to make your pet feel safe.

About: With 10+ years of caring pets of all kinds—dogs, cats, and more—I treat every animal like my own. I bring patience, reliability, and always want to learn each pet’s quirks and needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, basic training, or medication, I provide loving care with regular photo and text updates to keep you updated and connected. I work as a paraprofessional during school hours but am free after 3:30 PM Tuesday and Friday during the business days and am free during the weekends. I guarantee your pets will receive plenty of love, walks, and pets when I’m there. When caring for your pets, I will make sure to keep their routines as consistent as possible—from walks and activities to mealtimes and medicine. I respect your home and space by keeping it clean and secure so both you and your pets feel comfortable and safe. I also enjoy sending photo and text updates to keep you updated and connected!
“Maggie was awesome! She took the time to understand all of our instructions on the best ways to care for our pets, and wasn’t afraid to ask questions if she wasn’t sure about something. Excellent communication throughout the whole weekend with really good pictures! Maggie went above and beyond and I will definitely be working with her in the future!”

“Aline is so great for our pups!! She’s attentive and patient with our three maniacs. She’s great at staying in touch and SO flexible with our schedule changes. Book with her now :)!”

“Jen is absolutely the BEST petsitter you will ever experience. My cat is very high maintenance with her attitude and her massive hair (forest cat). Upon my arrival home kitty was calm, very content , and had an extensive grooming! My home was exceptionally clean with the removal of litter and cat food cans. Jen met me before the sitting dates and she was extremely knowledgeable . She has tons of common sense--- You will not need to give her pages of instruction. She GETS IT ! In addition, my plants were watered during this 94 degree weather , mail was placed neatly inside, and trash cans were taken to the curb . Photos are sent to you at each visit. Love Jen to take care of my cat.”

“Aleisha is so great! She took the time to meet our dogs ahead of time and get the lay of our house. She manages all 4 of our pups with ease! Our dogs range from puppy to senior, and she takes good care of all their individual needs. She is always on time and so flexible with our changing schedules. She communicates everything and takes the best pics during her visits! Book her now :)”

About: I’ve spent years caring for and training dogs, including raising and training four Australian Cattle Dogs—a breed known for its intelligence and high energy. Through that experience, I’ve learned how to read canine body language, reinforce good behaviors, and confidently handle dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I’ve also walked dogs for several of my mom’s clients throughout the Hockessin and Wilmington area. My focus is on providing safe, reliable, and personalized care while treating every dog as if they were my own. I’m currently home full-time, allowing me to provide attentive, personalized care throughout the day. Dogs in my care receive plenty of potty breaks, exercise, playtime, enrichment, affection, and supervision rather than being left alone for long periods. Your dog will be welcomed into a safe, loving home and treated like one of my own. I have a fully fenced 0.5-acre yard with plenty of room to run, play, and explore under supervision, as well as three friendly, well-socialized dogs for those who enjoy canine companionship. I also do my best to maintain each dog’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special instructions you provide. My goal is simple: for you to have peace of mind while you’re away and for your dog to feel safe, happy, and loved while they’re with me. I’m a Registered Nurse with a background in cardiac care and high-stress open-heart surgery, where being dependable, attentive, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented was essential every single day. After years of caring for my patients’ hearts, I’ve now been able to channel that same compassion into one of my greatest passions—dogs. I like to think I’ve gone from caring for my patients’ hearts to caring for my clients’ whole hearts—their dogs. ❤️🐾 My nursing background has shaped the way I care for animals. I take safety seriously, pay close attention to changes in behavior or well-being, follow instructions carefully, and understand the importance of medications and routines. Most importantly, I want owners to know they are leaving their dog with someone who is responsible, reliable, professional, and genuinely invested in their care.

About: I’ve worked in the pet industry for 6 years. From working in pet stores, to grooming facilities, and pet sitting, I’ve done almost all there is to do! I love all animals and have a chihuahua of my own named Chino! I do rover, Doordash, and other gig work as my main source of income, so I set my own schedule! If you choose me to take care of your pet, I will clear my schedule to ensure they’re getting love and care the whole time! I have a spacious townhome that opens up to a very large greenbelt with no other dogs on my row, so there is plenty of space for your pet to use the restroom, run around and play, etc. I have a friendly chihuahua named Chino who loves making friends and likes any and all animals he meets!
About: We have been a dog family for the past 11.5 years! We love our dogs so much! We have an 11 year old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix and a 2 year old Aussiedoodle. About: I’ve always taken care of pets from the age of 10, whether my own or family and friends. I enjoy spending time with pets and make it my mission to fulfill their day with their needs and wants. We (my family and Cubby) love Tracie! We hope every time we travel that Tracie will be available. Cubby is a nervous girl when we are away, but so much more settled when we have Tracie watching her. Tracie is great with our schedule and also giving meds as needed. We as a family are also able to enjoy our time away when we know that Tracie is taking care of our big baby Cubby👍😁❣️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
