“Lawton is awesome!! She sent great updates with photos and videos, was so easy to communicate with especially with me changing some times to take care of our dogs! She left our house clean and cared for and is just a sweet soul. We will for sure be using her again to care for our sweet fur babes!🫶”

“Wonderful experience having Alex and Christine house sit and take care of our little dog. They did a great job, sent messages every day and pictures knowing that we missed our sweet companion. Highly recommend them, you will not be sorry.”

“Our dogs adore Alex and so do we! He is flexible with our schedules and always shows up on time. He is communicative and resourceful. He puts up with our crazy energetic lab puppy and makes sure she is tired out and fulfilled. This time around was his first time watching our dogs at our new house and he figured everything out with very few instructions.”

“Sarah did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Kobe! She was super communicative, sent lots of updates and pictures, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. Kobe looked so happy and well cared for. I would absolutely recommend her and would love to work with her again!”
“Alexandria was a phenomenal pet sitter! We felt completely at ease and were able to fully enjoy our trip knowing our animals were in such good hands. She cared for them as if they were her own—attentive, playful, and always keeping our dog company. It’s clear our pets love her and feel comfortable around her. We’ll absolutely hire her again for any future travel!”

“Porter was very professional from the meet and greet to the second he left. Our house was just as we left it when we returned. He communicated frequently and sent daily dog pics.”

“This is the second time that Jeremy has sat with Sirius. Sirius was so excited to see him again! Jeremy brings a great calming presence to my sometimes anxious big guy- always offering affection, play and fun food enrichment (Sirius’s favorite). Jeremy is a super communicator and I love that he sends me a few pics to let me know how things are going which I very much appreciate. We will absolutely continue to be repeat clients.”

“Perri was great. I had a lot of unknowns with my dog's diet because he became ill right before my trip. Perri worked with us to navigate his eating behaviors and kept me up to date on everything! I would definitely hire Perri again.”

“Sharon took wonderful care of our Batman. Ensuring he was eating and taking his meds. She provided feedback and was responsive. I feel comfortable with her staying in my home and at ease he will be ok. Thanks again”

“Thomas was professional and provided excellent care from the first message to his time spent with Owen. It was not your standard "house sitting" since he did not have to stay overnight but provided the help needed while I was away for the day. He came to meet us first so he could learn more about Owen and the things to make their time together go smoothly. Owen had a great time with Thomas playing outside at his house and then was able to get him home safely to sleep in his own bed. I appreciate the care Thomas provided and was so helpful to ensure Owen was comfortable with him. I look forward to having him watch Owen next time.”

“Lesley did a wonderful job of taking care of our cat while we were away for a trip. She was very responsive and provided numerous updates on how our cat was doing. Our cat has medical issues and needs someone to stay overnight and Lesley did a fantastic job. We will definitely book with Lesley again!”

“Emily was very responsible and sweet with our dog, Daisy. She has a busy schedule, but was able to work around that to take care of Daisy while she stayed at our home. We enjoyed having Emily dog- and house-sit, and will be asking her back when we have those needs in the future.”

“Nicholas was caring, professional, stayed in touch during our trip and took excellent care of our dog and our home. Our dog was well adjusted when we returned home.”

About: I’m an active college student who grew up around animals and truly missed having them around. I love staying on the move—long walks, playtime, and keeping pets happy and engaged are my favorite! At the same time, I’m very calm, patient, and always happy to slow down for cuddles, naps, and quiet companionship. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. My lifestyle naturally supports pet care. As a college student, I keep an active yet balanced routine that allows time for both exercise and relaxation. I enjoy being outside and staying engaged, which makes walks and playtime something I genuinely look forward to. At the same time, I’m calm, patient, and attentive at home, so pets also receive plenty of affection, comfort, and downtime. Caring for animals fits seamlessly into my day and is something I truly enjoy and prioritize. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and trust when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. I make sure pets are supervised, kept in safe areas, and never exposed to hazards. I maintain a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment and take time to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I’m attentive to behavior cues and energy levels, adjusting care as needed. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and keep everything as it was left. My goal is always to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both pets and owners.
About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’ve cared for cats my whole life—from kittens to seniors—and I share my home with a sweet 9-year-old cat. I understand that every cat has their own personality, and I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether that means playtime, pets and cuddles, or simply sitting together in their favorite spot, I’ll meet your cat where they’re at. During drop-in visits, I spend at least 30 minutes making sure your pet has everything they need and plenty of attention. Every visit is a chance to give cats the care and companionship they deserve. I’m self-employed, which gives me a flexible schedule to work around your pet’s needs. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I can often accommodate extra visits on short notice. I provide drop-in visits in my clients’ homes, up to 5 times per day. Each visit lasts at least 30 minutes and is focused on making sure your cat has fresh food, water, and a clean litter box. I also spend time with them based on their needs—whether that’s playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company. My goal is to keep their routine consistent so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away.
Town and Country pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lauryn was fantastic watching my dog, Leo, and my bird, Sammie, this past weekend! Leo is a high-energy pup, but Lauryn kept him perfectly entertained and active. She was equally great with my bird, showing a real knack for avian care. Throughout the stay, she checked in frequently and sent plenty of photo updates, which I truly appreciated. She is incredibly communicative and easily one of the best sitters I’ve found on Rover in years. I highly recommend her and have already booked her for another upcoming stay!

Daniel watched our two babies while we're in Europe. She sent pictures frequently and updated us on how they were doing. The neighbors loved her and were amazed at how well she bonded with Joey and Molly. We give her a 5 star rating and would recommend her to anyone.
So grateful for Anna's help this weekend! As always she took great care of our two cats. She stayed at the house with them this time because our older cat is having some balance issues. She is attentive, a great listener and communicator, and provided timely updates with photos. Thanks Anna!

First time using Abigail. We were out of the country and she spent a week with our old boy, Django. She made sure and spent lots of time with him, sent us pictures and kept us posted on how he was doing. We were very happy with Abigail and will definitely use her again.
Taran was wonderful! She is the best dog sitter we've had using Rover. She kept our 5-year old dog happy while we were away for over a week keeping us informed with photos, videos, and brief messages. When we returned our house was just as we left it. We will definitely want to have Taran sit for us again.

Isabelle did a wonderful job staying with Lily for 6 nights recently. She was sweet, caring and made our time away less stressful. She asked questions if she had any and left our house just as she had found it. We appreciated her caring for Lilly and the photos and text messages. I highly recommend Isabelle and will use her again! Thanks Isabelle for doing such a fabulous job!
