We had to leave suddenly for a family emergency, and she was so quick to respond and incredibly accommodating—allowing us to drop them off on our way to the airport without any stress. She made my dogs feel so loved and comfortable while we were away, which meant everything to us during such a difficult time. “Asia was so sweet and professional. When we first arrived Asia and her fur baby Crypto welcome us. Asia made my lil boy (Biskit) feel so at home. I asked Asia to send me text, pictures, and videos, and she did just that. That really made my heart fill of joy to see pictures and videos of my lil boy(Biskit) and to know that he was well taken care of. We thank you so much Asia from the bottom of our hearts 💕 Sylvia and Antwon Dudley.”

“We used her twice within a month for our mini bernedoodle! Bear was excited to go back the second time and ran inside. He was tired when he got home, a sure sign he had a good time.”

“Bonnie was so trustworthy and considerate! It was my first time utilizing her service, and she was so understanding from the meet-and-greet. I knew I was in good hands, especially because of her own experience with cats for a long time. I knew I could trust her more than a lot of sitters in rover who mainly cater to dogs. Her updates were hilarious and I could tell that she genuinely cared for our cats' well-being. I would highly recommend Bonnie to anyone and would love to contact her the next time I'm out of town!”

“Alicia did an amazing job with my kitty cat while I was overseas for a week. She communicated well, sent plenty of pictures and updates, and overall made it easy to not have to worry about my sweet girl while I was away and 8 hours ahead. She was also super respectful of my Pinto’s cautious and aloof tendencies which ultimately made my cat more comfortable overall. I came home to happy healthy cat which is all I can ask for. I definitely hope to book with Alicia again in the future.”

“Brook was a great sitter for our cat! This was our first time using Rover and she made us comfortable throughout the whole process. She was very responsive and sent lots of photos and videos while we were gone. Our boy was spoiled during her visits with lots of pets, cuddles, and play! 10/10!”

“Alycia did a great job with our kitties. She was very conscientious about following my instructions, highly communicative, and solved issues that arose. Thank you, Alycia!”

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and love everything about them! I’ve cared for kittens, adults, seniors, and multiple cat households. I have experience with cat introductions, post-op care, and indoor/outdoor cats. I can even do stroller and leash walks :)
“I cannot recommend Alex enough! I think when people consider cat care, they think it’s simple. That’s not the case with our two cats. They’re extremely high maintenance. I’m talking four pages worth of notes and will wake you up early for food. Alex dealt with them in strides and even marked up said four page instruction manual. We’ll definitely use Alex again in the future!”

About: We didn't have a cat growing up but I was always well beloved by friends' cats and neighborhood strays. In 2021, I adopted my first cat — Sapphira, a senior surrender — as a cure for college quarantine loneliness. Over the next four years, I nursed her thru diabetes, organ failure, partial spinal paralysis, UTIs, and incontinence before she passed August 2025. I'd do it all over again if I could. Safe to say, I really love taking care of cats and there's no issue to gross or unique I can't handle. 💪🏽🤩
“My dog LOVES Nicholas. He took the time to bond with her. He is reliable and kind. My mind was at ease knowing Nicholas was there to feed, walk, and comfort my dog.”

About: I’ve cared for my own cat for the past eight years and understand that every cat has its own personality and routine. My cat is very social and follows me around throughout the day, so I’m used to giving plenty of attention and companionship while also recognizing when a cat wants space. I make it a priority to keep feeding schedules consistent, provide fresh water, maintain a clean litter box, and create a calm, comfortable environment where cats feel safe
“Susan was great she was very accommodating with my last minute request. She was very communicative & responded quickly. My BoBo is pretty shy around new people but he seemed to relax & feel comfortable. I liked the fact that she only sits for one pet at a time also.she let him have free roam of the house. Thank Susan for taking good care of my boy & having to put up with venting during a bad time. Will be happy for you to sit again when needed. Thank you Stacie N”

“I booked Niki for daily drop in visits to check on my cat while I was away on vacation. She was absolutely fantastic! She sent 3 or more pictures per visit and provided a very robust report card each day. She was very nice and responsive. My cat gets very anxious when left alone and Niki's visits really helped her cope. Based on this initial experience with Rover and with Niki, I will absolutely have Niki care for my cat again in the future.”

“Julie was a life saver! We were stood up by our original sitter, and she took Yuna in last minute. It felt reassuring to leave Yuna with her. Even though it was just for the afternoon, it seemed she got along with Julie's dogs and was exercised enough to have her sleep all throughout our road trip back home! Also kept us updated with pictures which was great.”

“My pup did daycare with Raini for 2 days. Everything went great and he was a happy pup! She has a great fenced in backyard for dogs and she sent lots of pictures and videos. This was our first experience using Rover and it was a good one.”

About: I have always loved dogs. My husband and I adopted a beagle 5 years ago and we have just loved every minute of it. We go on daily walks, have plenty of toys and dog puzzles. I currently work from home and will have plenty of time to monitor and play with your dogs. My Beagle Tommy is also dog friendly. We go outside frequently and supervise outside playtime. I have a friendly beagle who loves to play hard and nap hard too. We allow dogs on the furniture and work from home. We do not crate dogs even when leaving the home.
About: We’ve loved meeting all kinds of dogs through Rover, whatever breed or size, and we’d love to spend time getting to know your furry friend through walks, cuddles, and just being together! We’ve had several dogs over the years from an 11 lbs. Schnoodle to an 80 lbs. GSP to now Oliver, a 50lb. mix of many breeds. (However, he can go two-doors down to my father-in-law‘s house if our furry friends don’t get along.) We hope to meet you soon. Amy currently works mostly from home with a very flexible schedule. We get up around 6AM in the morning and stay up until about 10PM. We’d love to get steps in by taking your pet for a walk! Carl also often stops home throughout the day. Wehave a screened in back deck and also a fenced in area below that is shaded. Your pet can find the perfect place to relax and enjoy, weather pending!
“Melinda was very accommodating and Eli loved going over there. We would jump out of the car and I would follow him to the front door. Thank you so much and I will definitely use her again.”

About: Charismatic and outgoing animal lover with 16 years experience owning pets, and hundreds of hours volunteering at the humane society in 3 different states. I grew up with cats, but could not own a dog until I moved out on my own, so I quickly got my first baby Alice the first chance I could. My fur babies include a 13 year old sweet beagle mix, Alice 🌈 and two gentle loving cats, Poppy and Millie. All of my animals have been around other animals their whole lives and get along with all creatures. I prefer not to board cats, but can keep your cat in a closed bedroom for their stay. I would love to open my doors to help out families in need of a more personal way to board their pets when they are away. Your animals must get along with cats and small children. I have a very flexible schedule so I have the ability to care for your pet throughout the day, depending on your pets individuals needs. My pets have free range of the house. Visitors dogs can be crated if needed or have free range of the house if ok left unsupervised.
About: I’ve worked at Banfield pet hospital in different states, expanding my knowledge of different species from different regions. My grandmother owned a grooming business when I was a little rascal, which allowed me to be around fluffy friends all day. I work a typical day shift so my home is up and active by 6:30am every weekday and we’re on a walk before I head off to work. Evenings consist of walks before and after dinner. I allow animals to roam home as a part of their natural curiosity. I’ll have very deep conversations with my furry friends because I know for a fact they understand me, just as I do them. I enjoy walking around the neighborhood and, on average, I bike 10 miles a day to stay in top shape.
“Hailie and Alex did a wonderful job looking after Yodi during our brief stop in St. Louis! We were a bit worried about how long it would take him to feel comfortable in a new environment, but based on the pictures they sent and how quickly he fell asleep after being picked up, he had an enjoyable and eventful day! Not only was it clear that Hailie truly loves animals, but their dog Evie was playful with Yodi and helped get all his energy out. We definitely recommend if you're looking for a positive experience for your pet!”

About: I used to pet-sit. Worked at a day-care a while ago. I've worked and interacted with all types of dogs. I enjoy what I do. I actually get really excited when working with dogs. I know they're a lot to handle sometimes but I feel like they're great fun to work with and they always make me feel better. My favorite types of dogs include Boxers, Miniature Schnauzers, Miniature Pinschers. I like all dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am really into playing fetch with dogs. I also don't mind playing with rope toys. They might tear my arms off but hey! It builds character! I'm very easy-going and I feel like with dogs you have to have a great sense of humor and enjoy the trade in order to work with them. I hope you consider me for some of your services. I look forward to chatting with you over the phone, internet, or in person! Also, I have a sweet little Mitten cat (her name is Mittens). She's a blue tortoise cat with these little white Mitten paws. My father has a black Maltese poodle named Beau... The sweetest dog in the world. I used to live with him and we were the best of friends. We still are. But we just don't see each other as much. That's who you see me with in my photos. I have pretty much open availability. I am comfortable doing overnight visits and morning/afternoon/evening walks. I'm currently in the process of trying to build clientele so I'm more flexible now than I might be in the future. But my long-term goal is to make this a full time 8 hour day. The 8-hour schedule block will entirely depend upon demand though. Whether it's broken up into different times of the day with a break in between or a full 8 hours non-stop, entirely depends upon when clients need availability. The number one most important thing about pet care is communication though. Between the owner and me. The sooner we know things, the better. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I currently provide care exclusively in my clients' homes because I believe most pets are happiest and most relaxed in their own familiar environment. Staying in their home helps keep their routine consistent, reduces stress, and allows me to focus entirely on giving them the attention, affection, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. Whenever possible, I love to schedule a meet-and-greet before the booking begins. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, for your pet to become comfortable with me, and for me to learn about their personality, routines, favorite activities, quirks, medications, and anything else that helps me provide the best possible care. I firmly believe that in pet care, overcommunicating is always better than undercommunicating. I'd much rather ask one extra question than make an assumption, and you can expect prompt responses, regular photo and video updates, and complete transparency throughout your time away. While I would be comfortable offering boarding in the future, I currently choose not to because I share my home with a beloved cat. My decision isn't out of concern for her behavior—it's simply because I don't want to bring unfamiliar dogs into her space. By focusing exclusively on house sitting, I can give your pets individualized care in the environment where they feel safest and most at ease, while ensuring every animal in my care is comfortable, secure, and happy.

About: I have always had a dog and cat in my life (and still do!). I have been using Rover for two years and I don't seem to want to stop anytime soon. I have trained two golden retrievers and walked a lot of puppies, senior dogs and many ages in-between. One of my own dogs was awarded canine good citizenship before my children were born. I love being around animals and I have a caring nature. Now that my kids are getting older, it fits my need to get exercise and bring some joy into my life. I would love to give your pet some snuggles, snacks and I am always mindful to send lots of photos to ensure you can relax while you are away. I know that is what I would want as a pet owner. Some people think you have to either be a "dog person" or a "cat person". Not me! They both have a place in my heart for very different reasons. Cats take some time, but I love their comforting purr, the playfulness of spunky kittens or just petting their soft fur. Some owners simply just someone they can trust for a check-in. I am happy to provide the details needed so you can be OK while you are away. I am typically available in the afternoons as long as I don’t have a meeting scheduled (I work from home) and most evenings are available. Weekends are the best time to book care if you will be out for soccer games, dinner or long evening plans. I have kids as well and I have used Rover for 6+ years on my own pets. I am excited to return the favor to you now that my kids are older. I have used crates with my own pets during training and I will follow whatever safety instructions are needed. I understand all collars, how to avoid run ins with feisty dogs and other concerns you may have. I know how to troubleshoot dogs that like to find hiding spots or have the ability to slip out of the door. I am 40+ and I am raising tweens at this point, so I have a little wisdom under me that other walkers may not have at this point. I am also trustworthy. I have a great full-time job coupled with flexibility. I just want to combine my love of pets with a little extra income.
“Jacob is a wonderful pet sitter. He took care of my two cats and kept me updated with pics and notes about how they were doing. One of my cats’ had trouble adjusting but he encouraged her everyday to come out of her safe place. She finally came out on the last day. So I will definitely use him again. By the way he took my cats in an emergency situation and contacted me right away. Thank you to Rover, but mostly a huge shout out and thank you to Jacob.”

“Worked really well with my not so easy dog! Was responsive and sent a lot of photos and videos! I would definitely recommend her and will be going back!”

“Amy and Carl took such great care of my dog. It was our first time using Rover, let alone leaving her with someone outside of our family, so we were definitely nervous since she can be a bit anxious. But they were both so patient and kind with her that she warmed up to them really quickly. Amy was also amazing about sending daily updates and pictures, which we always looked forward to while we were on vacation. I’m really glad we chose Amy over traditional boarding and would absolutely book with them again in the future!”
