“Shanelle took great care of our kitty while we were gone for a few days! She made sure to keep his litter box clean and food and water full while we were away. She also made sure to give him lots of love and playtime. We really appreciated the updates and pictures we got each day. It was also nice that we got to meet her ahead of time. Highly recommend!”

“Michele took great care of our cat Veronica. Our shy kitty even came out long enough for Michele to take a photo, which is a first in all of our Rover visits! Thanks for everything Michele!”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a very little girl. I love all types of animals and my children and I would do anything to provide for any animal. I am a busy mom with a full time job, that being said us moms have super powers so I can make pretty much anything fit into my schedule. The workweek I would be available for early mornings and evenings but the weekends are open and flexible. I have a big backyard and a lovable shitzu and lab to keep your animal company. I enjoy taking walks and getting exercise and playing inside or outside.
“Savannah was great with the kitties! She even helped out bringing inside an unexpected package, and some minor winterization (it was freezing cold during her visits). Savannah definitely went above and beyond with the cats! They loved her!”

About: My love for cats started when I foster failed three cats in three months. Ever since then I’ve strived to give them the best life I could provide. I take care of my friend’s cats the same way I would want my cats taken care of. I work full time (8-5, M-F) but am willing to stay over night until work time again. I'm typically free after 6:30pm. Weekends are free as long as I have time to go home and feed my own cats before going over to yours (: I take a lot of care to not leave things around Willy nilly for pets to eat/chew on. I stay on top of my cats litter boxes as well as feed them special diet and watch them eat to make sure they aren’t healing from each other (: I also try to play with them 15 mins a day minimum.

About: Hi! I’m Sarah, an experienced, reliable pet caregiver and lifelong animal lover. My son and I recently said goodbye to our beloved dog of 12 years, and while we aren’t quite ready to welcome a new pet of our own, we deeply enjoy caring for animals and making them feel safe, loved, and at home. I have over 15 years of experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I take a thoughtful, individualized approach—meeting each dog where they are and offering just-right levels of activity, enrichment, and rest based on their needs, age, and energy. Our home is calm, clean, and well-supervised. We live near the levee and regularly walk the nearby forested river trails, which many dogs love for gentle exercise, fresh air, and enrichment. I prioritize safety, routines, clear communication, and plenty of affection, including snuggles and relaxed indoor downtime. My 9-year-old son is kind, gentle, and very respectful with animals, and he especially loves quiet companionship and playtime (always supervised). Your pet will be treated like a valued family member, and you can expect dependable care, thoughtful attention, and regular updates while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule that allows plenty of time for walks, play, and check-ins, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends, to match your pet’s routine. Pets are always supervised in a calm, clean home. I follow routines, respect boundaries, involve my gentle, animal-savvy child appropriately, and communicate clearly with owners.
About: I have been working in veterinary medicine since I was a freshman in high school. In high school I worked as as kennel technician caring for boarding and hospitalized patients for four years. Upon graduation of high school I went to veterinary technician school, where I graduated as a veterinarian technician. I have three labrador retrievers. I have grown up around animals and they are my passion. I've worked with mice all the way up to horses. Since I am a technician I am able and comfortable with giving medication of any kind (injections, oral medications, eye medications, and topicals). Also I do not have trouble with the gross messes animals can leave behind. I also recently started my own dog training business as a certified trainer, RES Labradors & Training LLC. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. I am currently a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty open and flexible for caring for any pets during the morning and most evenings I have three dog friendly labradors, but they can be kenneled while pet sitting. Also I have a large fenced in backyard for dogs to play in.

About: I’ve never known a time during my life when I didn’t have a pet. My family had several dogs and I even owned some exotic pets. My current doggo is Kali, a five year old Bernedoodle. As somebody who is highly empathetic by nature, I connect really easily with animals. For this reason, family and friends always trusted me to take care of their loved fur friends. I work well with young to old pets, and am accustomed to very gentle training and care with lots of love. This is my full time gig. I’m autistic, so being around animals is both therapeutic and what I enjoy as I find it to be much less stress inducing than work that requires socialization. I also have a special connection with animals as I’m a very empathetic person and read energies well. I have a yard and a friendly, trained bernedoodle that works very well with other dogs. She’s been in training and daycare since she was a puppy. Your pets are more than welcome to have a playmate if they’re friendly as well. I also have a large crate if your pet needs kenneled. I give pets constant attention and honestly spoil them, so to me they are just another family member.

I’m comfortable with pretty much any type of dog high energy, shy, older dogs, or ones that need a little extra care. I graduated high school and I’m going to JCCC this fall, planning to go into pre-vet. I really enjoy working with animals and want to keep doing it long term!! My boyfriend (Cameron as pictured does come along with me sometimes if you’re not comfortable with that please lmk and I can come alone! your welcome to meet us both! Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I’m happy to be flexible when needed! when I’m in a client’s home I just try to keep everything as normal as possible for the pet. I follow their usual routine, feeding schedule, walks, and whatever else they need. I give them lots of attention and make sure they’re comfortable while you’re gone. I’m also used to giving meds if needed. I treat their home with respect and their pets like my own.
About: Growing up I was never without a pet. We always had cats and dogs. I have helped care for pets since I was a little girl and often watched animals for family friends. I had my very first dog at 18 who turned out to be deaf. Taking care of him was not easy but so worth all the love we shared. Sadly he passed away from Cancer in 2013. I live a few blocks from the Eudora Elementary school and love walking the trail that goes behind it. I find joy in watching my own animals run and play. I treat all animals as if they were my own children. I currently work through the week but I am looking to grow my clients through Rover so I may watch animals full time as I absolutely love them! Right now I am available in the early afternoon/evening and most weekends to do check-ins. I currently work from home and can do doggy day care or boarding through the week and your pet will not be left alone. I hope to be able to watch animals full time eventually. I am married and have a 7 year old son. My husband and son share in my love for animals. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs who are super spoiled just like our son. We love to play and cuddle as a family. Our favorite is to cuddle up on the couch with our fur babies and watch a movie. In the client's home I will respect specific requests and respect your home as if it were my own. I can assure a safe, loving, and loyal friend to walk/care your animal. I will gladly take and send picture updates while with your pet to help ensure your pets safety. I'm also happy to help with an special accommodations your pet needs.
“Good care provided to pups and cats. They are also good communicators. They let us know when they were concerned about the animals. There was also the complication of our house being on the market to sell.”
