About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a very little girl. I love all types of animals and my children and I would do anything to provide for any animal. I am a busy mom with a full time job, that being said us moms have super powers so I can make pretty much anything fit into my schedule. The workweek I would be available for early mornings and evenings but the weekends are open and flexible. I have a big backyard and a lovable shitzu and lab to keep your animal company. At home, I have a young dog and a very young puppy, so I’m already on a structured routine that includes regular feeding 3 times a day, potty breaks, training, and enrichment. Because of this, I’m reliably home at least 3 time periods a day and all night. I’m available for pet care up to three times per day for sessions lasting up to four hours each, which works well for walks, drop-ins, playtime, training reinforcement, and meals or medications times. I’m dependable, punctual, and attentive to maintaining each pet’s normal routine. Safety and trust are my top priorities in every home I care for. Whether I’m caring for pets in my client’s home or my own, I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any medical or behavioral needs before care begins. About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 years old and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats and currently have four dogs of my own, so caring for pets has always been a huge part of my life. I currently work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My job includes supervising playgroups, feeding, giving medications, monitoring behavior, and making sure every dog is safe and happy. Working with so many different dogs has taught me how important it is to treat every pet as an individual. I’m also very comfortable caring for cats. Whether your cat is outgoing and social or prefers their own space, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and stress free while you’re away. I recently graduated high school and will be attending JCCC this fall to start my pre-veterinary studies. “Terra was amazing! We found her on Rover somewhat last minute after some issues with our other sitter, and I am so glad we did! Terra was so flexible when we had to make some last minute changes to her care schedule due to our kitty, Nickel, coming down with a UTI the morning we were leaving for vacation. Terra proceeded to take such great care of Nickel. She kept us regularly updated about how Nickel was doing, and sent pictures, which were so comforting to see. Nickel was not so sure about taking his meds from a new person, but Terra did a great job working with him and trying different strategies to help him. All-in-all, Terra went above and beyond in so many ways, and we feel so fortunate that our little guy was in her care. We definitely highly recommend, Terra!”

About: I have had dogs since I can remember. I have experience with elderly dogs, such as dogs with joint pain and needing frequent meds, kennel care, food, water, as well as puppy experience. I worked at an elderly dog rescue and have experience in diaper changes as well. Flexible but have 9 am - 10 am classes every mornin,g as well as looking for a part-time job. As of right now, I am not working a job. I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly pups, and a cat. The fence is quite short, but my dogs know not to jump over.

About: I have owned pets all my life from dogs and cats to ferrets and lizards. I am currently studying animal science in pursue of a degree in veterinary medicine. I have trained puppies and volunteered at shelters so I have been exposed to lots of different dog breeds. Last summer I worked side by side with a Vet and gained lots of experience with many animals. My schedule is very flexible considering I am a college student and only work when I am home on breaks. I am working at a vet clinic and getting experience in that field. I am also available on weekends and capable of working with you to put the needs of your pet first. My dogs have a fenced in yard so during this time of year they spend a lot of time outside and playing fetch. We have crate trained them as puppies so I can accommodate to any means necessary.

About: I’ve never known a time during my life when I didn’t have a pet. My family had several dogs and I even owned some exotic pets. My current doggo is Kali, a five year old Bernedoodle. As somebody who is highly empathetic by nature, I connect really easily with animals. For this reason, family and friends always trusted me to take care of their loved fur friends. I work well with young to old pets, and am accustomed to very gentle training and care with lots of love. This is my full time gig. I’m autistic, so being around animals is both therapeutic and what I enjoy as I find it to be much less stress inducing than work that requires socialization. I also have a special connection with animals as I’m a very empathetic person and read energies well. I have a yard and a friendly, trained bernedoodle that works very well with other dogs. She’s been in training and daycare since she was a puppy. Your pets are more than welcome to have a playmate if they’re friendly as well. I also have a large crate if your pet needs kenneled. I give pets constant attention and honestly spoil them, so to me they are just another family member.

About: Growing up I was never without a pet. We always had cats and dogs. I have helped care for pets since I was a little girl and often watched animals for family friends. I had my very first dog at 18 who turned out to be deaf. Taking care of him was not easy but so worth all the love we shared. Sadly he passed away from Cancer in 2013. I live a few blocks from the Eudora Elementary school and love walking the trail that goes behind it. I find joy in watching my own animals run and play. I treat all animals as if they were my own children. I currently work through the week but I am looking to grow my clients through Rover so I may watch animals full time as I absolutely love them! Right now I am available in the early afternoon/evening and most weekends to do check-ins. I currently work from home and can do doggy day care or boarding through the week and your pet will not be left alone. I hope to be able to watch animals full time eventually. About: I have been working in veterinary medicine since I was a freshman in high school. In high school I worked as as kennel technician caring for boarding and hospitalized patients for four years. Upon graduation of high school I went to veterinary technician school, where I graduated as a veterinarian technician. I have three labrador retrievers. I have grown up around animals and they are my passion. I've worked with mice all the way up to horses. Since I am a technician I am able and comfortable with giving medication of any kind (injections, oral medications, eye medications, and topicals). Also I do not have trouble with the gross messes animals can leave behind. I also recently started my own dog training business as a certified trainer, RES Labradors & Training LLC. About: I have hosted many dogs for overnight stays for friends. I have a fenced in yard with a doggy door. I like to walk and a dog adds joy.
