About: Hey there! My name is Jessica, I’m am a veterinary technician. I know there is often pets needing last minute stays and care, and we will do our best to provide that! Being a vet tech I am very qualified and experienced to take care dogs and cats with health issues that may require more care. I have a dog/s of my own that requires twice a day medication, as well as cats. I work full time Monday-Friday but have a lunch hour to let out dogs. I will provide daily updates and photos so you know your pets are being well taken care of. Your pets will be treated as one of my own! One less thing to worry about while you are away! I work full time at a veterinary clinic. I am able to let pets out on my lunch hour and right after work. I am home mostly all day on the weekends we have available. Your dog will be treated as part of the family in my home. We have extra dog beds and toys available, if a crate is needed please let us know ahead of time or you are more than welcome to bring one. We have a PARTIALLY fenced in yard so all walks will be ON LEASH ONLY.

“Terra was amazing! We found her on Rover somewhat last minute after some issues with our other sitter, and I am so glad we did! Terra was so flexible when we had to make some last minute changes to her care schedule due to our kitty, Nickel, coming down with a UTI the morning we were leaving for vacation. Terra proceeded to take such great care of Nickel. She kept us regularly updated about how Nickel was doing, and sent pictures, which were so comforting to see. Nickel was not so sure about taking his meds from a new person, but Terra did a great job working with him and trying different strategies to help him. All-in-all, Terra went above and beyond in so many ways, and we feel so fortunate that our little guy was in her care. We definitely highly recommend, Terra!”

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 years old and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats and currently have four dogs of my own, so caring for pets has always been a huge part of my life. I currently work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My job includes supervising playgroups, feeding, giving medications, monitoring behavior, and making sure every dog is safe and happy. Working with so many different dogs has taught me how important it is to treat every pet as an individual. I’m also very comfortable caring for cats. Whether your cat is outgoing and social or prefers their own space. I recently graduated high school and will be attending JCCC this fall to start my pre veterinary studies. My goal is to become a veterinarian! My boyfriend, Cameron, is 20 years old and helps me with pet sitting. He absolutely loves animals and has a lot of experience with them. He helped train our German Shepherd from the time he was a puppy and did an amazing job with him. He also grew up with several cats, so he’s very comfortable around both dogs and cats. I just like to be upfront that he may accompany me on visits or overnight stays. We’re both huge animal lovers and enjoy spending time with pets! I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs. When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. “I don’t have the most user friendly dog. She is scared of strangers and slow to warm. She is a boxer pit and can be intimidating. I am always nervous about her with strangers. She was rescued from a bad bad situation and has come so far from when we got her. Amelia was amazingly patient and genuine with her. She sent me a picture and Annie looked so relaxed with her! About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a very little girl. I love all types of animals and my children and I would do anything to provide for any animal. I am a busy mom with a full time job, that being said us moms have super powers so I can make pretty much anything fit into my schedule. The workweek I would be available for early mornings and evenings but the weekends are open and flexible. I have a big backyard and a lovable shitzu and lab to keep your animal company. I enjoy taking walks and getting exercise and playing inside or outside.

About: I have had dogs since I can remember. I have experience with elderly dogs, such as dogs with joint pain and needing frequent meds, kennel care, food, water, as well as puppy experience. I worked at an elderly dog rescue and have experience in diaper changes as well. Flexible but have 9 am - 10 am classes every mornin,g as well as looking for a part-time job. As of right now, I am not working a job. I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly pups, and a cat. The fence is quite short, but my dogs know not to jump over.

About: I've been lucky enough to take care of homes and pets in lots of different places, like California, Oregon, and even other countries. All that experience has helped me become really good at providing reliable and loving care for both pets and their people. I’m really good at going with the flow and can easily change my schedule to fit what a pet needs. About: Growing up I was never without a pet. We always had cats and dogs. I have helped care for pets since I was a little girl and often watched animals for family friends. I had my very first dog at 18 who turned out to be deaf. Taking care of him was not easy but so worth all the love we shared. Sadly he passed away from Cancer in 2013. I live a few blocks from the Eudora Elementary school and love walking the trail that goes behind it. I find joy in watching my own animals run and play. I treat all animals as if they were my own children. I currently work through the week but I am looking to grow my clients through Rover so I may watch animals full time as I absolutely love them! Right now I am available in the early afternoon/evening and most weekends to do check-ins. I currently work from home and can do doggy day care or boarding through the week and your pet will not be left alone. I hope to be able to watch animals full time eventually. I am married and have a 7 year old son. My husband and son share in my love for animals. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs who are super spoiled just like our son. We love to play and cuddle as a family. Our favorite is to cuddle up on the couch with our fur babies and watch a movie. In the client's home I will respect specific requests and respect your home as if it were my own. About: I have taken care of pets since I was 13 and house sat since I was 15!! I was also a kennel tech for a year! This included giving medication, bathing, feeding, and just plain old watching the pets! I know CPR for our fury friends too! I have two dogs of my own as well as four cats so I am completely comfortable with a variety. I am a college student working on my masters online while working another job as well. My schedule is pretty straight forward for me so pet care will fit well as long as I keep my calendar balanced. I am comfortable house sitting for both dogs and cats. I am more than capable of crating or letting pets out to potty. I usually keep treats on me anytime I care for a furry friend. When I walk animals, I usually go for 30 minutes to an hour so that they get the excercise needed. I also have bags for when they do their business on a walk.

About: I have owned pets all my life from dogs and cats to ferrets and lizards. I am currently studying animal science in pursue of a degree in veterinary medicine. I have trained puppies and volunteered at shelters so I have been exposed to lots of different dog breeds. Last summer I worked side by side with a Vet and gained lots of experience with many animals. My schedule is very flexible considering I am a college student and only work when I am home on breaks. I am working at a vet clinic and getting experience in that field. I am also available on weekends and capable of working with you to put the needs of your pet first. My dogs have a fenced in yard so during this time of year they spend a lot of time outside and playing fetch. We have crate trained them as puppies so I can accommodate to any means necessary.
