About: Hi! I go by Ronan and am currently a student at KU (Rock Chalk!) studying elementary special education. I have always had a deep love of animals! My family has had at least 3 dogs my whole life, on top of a cat and three rabbits, all of which I have had a hand in taking care of as soon as I was old enough for chores, and eventually majority of the responsibility in feeding, walking, and playing with them, in addition to the general upkeep that comes along with pets. I also have many years of experience looking after other family's pets, with the largest family consisting of 6 dogs, 2 cats, and a whole reptile room! I have been a part of 4-H and competed in multiple FFA competitions for plants, animals, and vetrinary science for most of my life. I still want to keep working with animals, even though I have my own sweet fur baby cat. I am extremely active and love playing with animals until they're worn out (if thats what they want) or just giving them tlc! As a student at KU, I leave for class around 7:30 every weekday morning and return around 4 PM, except on Wednesdays and Fridays, when I return around 6-6:30 PM. On weekends, I have flexible availability! I live in an apartment, but it has a lot of open space, and I live close to parks such as South Park and North Park. I have a sweet girl cat who loves all living creatures. I can easily crate any pet who needs to be crated, and I have plenty of forms of enrichment! If in your home I of course will only go into areas you tell me, and will make sure your space is as nice as you left it :) I will also make sure to be careful with doors if needed if there is a chronic escape artist.

“Michelle was so amazing, it warmed my heart to know someone was actually giving my cat love and attention as much as I would because that’s usually a pet owners biggest fear. I was out of the country for around two weeks and worried about my cat because she tends to be a little shy and scared of new people and typically i only know how to deal with her. Michelle was perfect !! letting my cat slowly warm up to her presence visit by visit. She would send photos every visit and that was very reassuring, she would play with my cat and feed her and cuddle with gigi. I would get photos of gigi playing, running, and cuddling which is not her norm for when she meets new people so i was very happy with that.There wasn’t a moment where I was worried about my gigi. Michelle is so nice and compassionate and sweet and it shows because my gigi warmed up to her, she responds to messages and updates me where i felt reassured and comfortable, I could not be happier that i found her to take care of my cat and i was honestly lucky to have her as my pet sitter.I would definitely choose her again over anyone if I ever had to leave my cat again but in general with any animal because she actually cares.”

About: Growing up I was never without a pet. We always had cats and dogs. I have helped care for pets since I was a little girl and often watched animals for family friends. I had my very first dog at 18 who turned out to be deaf. Taking care of him was not easy but so worth all the love we shared. Sadly he passed away from Cancer in 2013. About: I am the perfect boarding option if you're looking to get away. I’m currently working a hybrid arrangement so I am home Mondays and Fridays. We’re typically here most weekends but do go out of town every now and then, so just keep an eye on my calendar and I will do my best to keep it updated. I have been around dogs my entire life and can't imagine my life without one (or two)! They are an extension of my family and are treated as such. Rest-assured, your dogs will be loved here and get to play with our 12 year old Terrier and our 7 year old Austrian Pinscher. We have a large fenced yard and LOTS of toys and nearby trails where I'll take our dogs and yours for walks several times a day. I do allow pets on furniture and to sleep in our bed if that's what they're used to. If your dog plays well with others they will fit in perfectly here! I’m currently working from home 2 days a week so typically always home during those days to care for your pups! They will get lots of outdoor breaks and at least one walk while I’m home. We treat your dog(s) like our own. They’re allowed on our furniture and can sleep in it beds if that’s what they’re used to. We also have a large fenced yard for plenty of bathroom breaks and exercise.

I have dogs of my own that requires twice a day medication, as well as a cat. I work full time Monday-Friday but have a lunch hour to let out dogs. I will provide daily updates and photos so you know your pets are being well taken care of. Your pets will be treated as one of my own! One less thing to worry about while you are away! I work full time at a veterinary clinic. I am able to let pets out on my lunch hour and right before/after work. I am typically away on weekends but open to requests in the event I am available. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. As an RVT with years of hands on experience, I’m comfortable caring for pets with a variety of personalities, ages, and medical needs. When caring for your pet in your home, I treat your space with the same respect I would expect in my own home. I follow your instructions carefully, maintain your pet’s normal feeding, medication, and make sure doors, gates, and other areas are secure before I leave. I’m also very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, bathroom habits, energy level, or overall appearance. If I notice something unusual, I’ll communicate with you promptly. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is safe and well cared for. This includes mealtimes, making sure their water/area is clean, playing with toys and/or enrichment activities, and cleanup before heading out. If staying in a clients home, I follow the routine of that pet as set by the owner to give as much minimal disruption as possible.

I work full time but can work remotely, if necessary. Otherwise, I’m home most of the time. I have a fenced backyard that is small. My home is a single story. I could also pet sit in the pets own home so they are familiar with their surroundings. My yard is fenced and I don’t currently have any pets living in the home.
