“Kyra was amazing. I was nervous leaving my dog after a previously bad experience ( not with Rover) and she was calm, efficient and steadying. She was also incredibly generous.”

“Sierra was great! On short notice, she was able to come over and hang out with my pups while I was gone most of the day. Sierra was communicative, reliable, and gave me peace of mind knowing they were being well cared for. I would highly recommend Sierra and will definitely book with Sierra again in the future!”

“We continue to book with Steve when we are away and every time we does an awesome job! We know that our cat loves to see him everyday and he sends the best update photos!”

“Our dog Allie just loves Ava. She and our high anxiety dog hit it off right away. Ava is always on time. We already have Ava booked for our vacation in a few weeks. We feel very comfortable leaving our baby in her care.”

“Absolutely 100% recommend Lakyn & Alex! It's difficult to leave your pet behind, but with these two you will have nothing to worry about. I could tell my cat was much more relaxed than usual and even opened up to them (which is rare). I feel very lucky to have had them taken care of Syl, and I know she feels the same way. Thank you so much, Lakyn and Alex!!”

“Terra was amazing! We found her on Rover somewhat last minute after some issues with our other sitter, and I am so glad we did! Terra was so flexible when we had to make some last minute changes to her care schedule due to our kitty, Nickel, coming down with a UTI the morning we were leaving for vacation. Terra proceeded to take such great care of Nickel. She kept us regularly updated about how Nickel was doing, and sent pictures, which were so comforting to see. Nickel was not so sure about taking his meds from a new person, but Terra did a great job working with him and trying different strategies to help him. All-in-all, Terra went above and beyond in so many ways, and we feel so fortunate that our little guy was in her care. We definitely highly recommend, Terra!”

“Elena was awesome!!! She took care of our two cats while we were gone for the holidays and she made sure to treat them with so much love! She even gave our kitties a Christmas treat to make them feel loved while we were gone. She also sent so many photos! We will definitely request her again!”

About: I have had dogs since I can remember. I have experience with elderly dogs, such as dogs with joint pain and needing frequent meds, kennel care, food, water, as well as puppy experience. I worked at an elderly dog rescue and have experience in diaper changes as well. Flexible but have 9 am - 10 am classes every mornin,g as well as looking for a part-time job. As of right now, I am not working a job. I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly pups, and a cat. The fence is quite short, but my dogs know not to jump over.

About: I have extensive experience caring for animals, as I’ve had pets in my home since I was a baby. Growing up around pets taught me responsibility at a young age, including feeding, grooming, cleaning, and making sure animals feel safe and comfortable. Over the years, I’ve cared for a variety of pets and have become very attentive to their needs, behaviors, and routines. I understand how important it is to provide not just basic care, but also companionship, patience, and love. My lifelong experience has made me confident in handling different personalities and ensuring pets are well cared for while their owners are away. I am a full time college student and work a part time job as a server. Most of my availability is in the mornings on weekdays and weekends as needed. I am a reliable and caring pet sitter with extensive experience providing private pet care for families. Over time, I’ve built trust with pet owners by consistently showing up on time, following specific care instructions, and treating every pet as if they were my own. I’ve cared for pets with different routines, temperaments, and needs, which has made me adaptable and attentive in any situation. Whether it’s feeding, walking, administering basic care, or simply spending quality time with pets, I always prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness while their owners are away.
“Lauren was fantastic to work with and our pets were well taken care of while we were gone! Excellent communication and we enjoy all of the photos she sent during her drop in visits. 😊”

“Elyea was fantastic! I have two cats (10 and 8 y/o) that warmed up to her immediately (and that rarely happens). They came out of their hiding spots during the meet & greet, and my shy older cat was rolling over and showing her belly on the first drop-in visit (which almost NEVER happens). She played with them, loved on them, and treated them like her own pets. She was so proactive in communication, and I so appreciated how many photos she took. She is a tried and true cat whisperer, and after the first day, all of the nerve I had about leaving the cats melted away. I cannot recommend her enough! Will be forwarding her profile to any/all friends, coworkers, on social media, and to anyone who mentions their pets in passing.”

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 years old and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats and currently have four dogs of my own, so caring for pets has always been a huge part of my life. I currently work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My job includes supervising playgroups, feeding, giving medications, monitoring behavior, and making sure every dog is safe and happy. Working with so many different dogs has taught me how important it is to treat every pet as an individual. I’m also very comfortable caring for cats. Whether your cat is outgoing and social or prefers their own space. I recently graduated high school and will be attending JCCC this fall to start my pre veterinary studies. My goal is to become a veterinarian! My boyfriend, Cameron, is 20 years old and helps me with pet sitting. He absolutely loves animals and has a lot of experience with them. He helped train our German Shepherd from the time he was a puppy and did an amazing job with him. He also grew up with several cats, so he’s very comfortable around both dogs and cats. I just like to be upfront that he may accompany me on visits or overnight stays. We’re both huge animal lovers and enjoy spending time with pets! I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs. When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or plenty of cuddles, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’d love the chance to meet you and your pets! Feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a meet and greet.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life (I’m 60) except for the last 7 years. I love loving on sweet animals. I’ve had dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, big dogs and little dogs. Love them all! I work full time but can work remotely, if necessary. Otherwise, I’m home most of the time. I have a fenced backyard that is small. My home is a single story. I could also pet sit in the pets own home so they are familiar with their surroundings. My yard is fenced and I don’t currently have any pets living in the home. Your pet would get all of my attention. I’m easy going and patient and adaptable to your pet’s needs.
About: I grew up on the family farm surrounded by dogs and cats and all kinds of animals - caring for them was part of my life. That lifelong connection led me to volunteer at a local dog and cat shelter where I've gained even more experience with pets of all temperaments and needs. I treat every animal like a family and I willl give your pet loving care whether it's for a quick walk or an overnight stay. I have a very flexible schedule so I can fully prioritize pet care. My days naturally revolve around the animals I am caring for and I enjoy creating routine that suits their needs. My home, farm in the woods, is a dog paradise where they can relax, go for walks or play. In client's home, I'm respectful of their space and routines, I communicate with the owner, send updates and make sure the pet has all my attention.
“I don’t have the most user friendly dog. She is scared of strangers and slow to warm. She is a boxer pit and can be intimidating. I am always nervous about her with strangers. She was rescued from a bad bad situation and has come so far from when we got her. Amelia was amazingly patient and genuine with her. She sent me a picture and Annie looked so relaxed with her! I am definitely rebooking with them because they are so great with my big little scaredy-cat dog!”
