About: Hi! I go by Ronan and am currently a student at KU (Rock Chalk!) studying elementary special education. I have always had a deep love of animals! My family has had at least 3 dogs my whole life, on top of a cat and three rabbits, all of which I have had a hand in taking care of as soon as I was old enough for chores, and eventually majority of the responsibility in feeding, walking, and playing with them, in addition to the general upkeep that comes along with pets. I also have many years of experience looking after other family's pets, with the largest family consisting of 6 dogs, 2 cats, and a whole reptile room! I have been a part of 4-H and competed in multiple FFA competitions for plants, animals, and veterinary science for most of my life. I still want to keep working with animals, even though I have my own sweet fur baby cat which is why I decided to work for Rover. I am extremely active and love playing with animals until they're worn out (if thats what they want) or just giving them tlc, I just go with the flow of what the pet(s) are in the mood for! As a student at KU, I leave for class around 7:30 every weekday morning and return around 4 PM, except on Wednesdays and Fridays, when I return around 6-6:30 PM. On weekends, I have flexible availability! When I am at a client's home I of course will only go into areas I am told I am allowed im, and will make sure your space is as nice as you left it :) I will also make sure to be careful with doors if needed if there is a chronic escape artist. If I have a question about anything, I immedietly reach out. I also love to take a million photos for clients.

Terra was so flexible when we had to make some last minute changes to her care schedule due to our kitty, Nickel, coming down with a UTI the morning we were leaving for vacation. Terra proceeded to take such great care of Nickel. She kept us regularly updated about how Nickel was doing, and sent pictures, which were so comforting to see. Nickel was not so sure about taking his meds from a new person, but Terra did a great job working with him and trying different strategies to help him. All-in-all, Terra went above and beyond in so many ways, and we feel so fortunate that our little guy was in her care. We definitely highly recommend, Terra!”
About: I have had pets my whole life. I also have volunteered at the local animal shelter in my hometown for the past 7 years, so I have plenty of experience in animal welfare. I am currently a college student with a flexible schedule, so I generally have a lot of time on my hands. This will give me plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am unable to keep pets in my household, so this will only allow me to take care of your pets through drop-in visits, house sitting, or dog walking.
About: I have taken care of pets since I was 13 and house sat since I was 15!! I was also a kennel tech for a year! This included giving medication, bathing, feeding, and just plain old watching the pets! I know CPR for our fury friends too! I have two dogs of my own as well as four cats so I am completely comfortable with a variety. I am a college student working on my masters online while working another job as well. My schedule is pretty straight forward for me so pet care will fit well as long as I keep my calendar balanced. I am comfortable house sitting for both dogs and cats. I am more than capable of crating or letting pets out to potty. I usually keep treats on me anytime I care for a furry friend. When I walk animals, I usually go for 30 minutes to an hour so that they get the excercise needed. I also have bags for when they do their business on a walk.

About: I have grown up with animals of all kinds young and old. I was a volunteer at an animal shelter and humane society where I fostered bunnies and I was a camp counselor showing kids how to properly interact with animals (including reptiles). I have experience in pet sitting for 6 years for friends and family. I also worked on a dairy farm for 3 years where I would care for cows and all the other barnyard animals that guests would come to visit. I have had dogs, cats, critters, reptiles and farm animals throughout my life. Currently I have 2 Maine Coons, Simba and Kiara and I have a bearded dragon, Tad Cooper. My main concern is your animals health and happiness as well as communication with you. I have recently moved here with my husband and don’t have a current job so I am available most requested dates and time to fit into your schedule. My priority is making sure you and your pets feel safe and comfortable. I strive to make a connection with each animal to provide care. I will also take care of the simple tasks if requested such as receiving mail, taking out the trash and vacuuming to keep your house a clean environment for you and you pets.
About: I have take care of my dog for 2 year this my first job take care of other people dog my would love the chance. I’m currently in school Monday Wednesday I’m available after 5:30 depending on location Tuesday and Thursday I’m available after 1:30 depending on location holiday I will alway be available I will make sure your dog is safe with me by make sure that they walk in the grass when its hot outside and the if you have a gate make sure it lock.
About: Ive owned cats and dogs my whole life! I’ve cat and dog sat many times for neighbors and family and have been reliable and love it every time. I’m currently working part-time while also being a full-time college student. My schedule shouldn’t vary too much in weekdays until I get my schedule for my other job. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
