About: I started pet sitting a couple years ago for my family and friends and it’s truly a job I love doing. I have experience with pet sitting several different dogs, varying in age and breed. I have experience with senior dogs. My responsibilities while pet sitting dogs included taking dogs on daily walks, preparing food and water, administering medication, and even giving baths. I’m currently a college student at the University of Kansas, and I am taking classes on the weekdays. I have selected that I’m available on all weekdays, because I have several gaps between classes that will allow me check on and take care of your pets every 2-4 hours. After 3 o’clock on every weekday except Thursday I will be able provide full time care as well as on weekends. My goal is to provide the best care for your pet, and I’m prepared to walk, play, feed, crate, clean and do whatever is needed to provide your pet with the best care.
About: I am married and have two daughters and a son. They are 12, 8, and 5. I have a wonderful German Shepherd, an Alaskan Klee Kai, and a 20 pound cat named Karen. We love caring for other animals. We have a big yard so there’s plenty of room to run.! I can come to your home or board in ours. We are very active individuals. Both my husband and I are runners. Just let me know if you have anymore questions and I would be more than willing to answer them! We are very flexible with our schedules. My husband works full-time, but I drive for Uber so I can make my own schedule when needed. We try to stay as active as possible and play with pets in the home. Terra was so flexible when we had to make some last minute changes to her care schedule due to our kitty, Nickel, coming down with a UTI the morning we were leaving for vacation. Terra proceeded to take such great care of Nickel. She kept us regularly updated about how Nickel was doing, and sent pictures, which were so comforting to see. Nickel was not so sure about taking his meds from a new person, but Terra did a great job working with him and trying different strategies to help him. All-in-all, Terra went above and beyond in so many ways, and we feel so fortunate that our little guy was in her care. We definitely highly recommend, Terra!”

About: I have grown up with animals of all kinds young and old. I was a volunteer at an animal shelter and humane society where I fostered bunnies and I was a camp counselor showing kids how to properly interact with animals (including reptiles). I have experience in pet sitting for 6 years for friends and family. I also worked on a dairy farm for 3 years where I would care for cows and all the other barnyard animals that guests would come to visit. I have had dogs, cats, critters, reptiles and farm animals throughout my life. Currently I have 2 Maine Coons, Simba and Kiara and I have a bearded dragon, Tad Cooper. About: Since childhood, I have enjoyed the companionship of dogs. The first family pet I knew for nearly its entire lifetime was our rescue beagle my family adopted when I was about 8 years old. About: I’ve had pets my whole life (I’m 60) except for the last 7 years. I love loving on sweet animals. I’ve had dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, big dogs and little dogs. Love them all! I work full time but can work remotely, if necessary. Otherwise, I’m home most of the time. I have a fenced backyard that is small. My home is a single story. I could also pet sit in the pets own home so they are familiar with their surroundings. My yard is fenced and I don’t currently have any pets living in the home. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
