Terra was so flexible when we had to make some last minute changes to her care schedule due to our kitty, Nickel, coming down with a UTI the morning we were leaving for vacation. About: I have taken care of pets since I was 13 and house sat since I was 15!! I was also a kennel tech for a year! This included giving medication, bathing, feeding, and just plain old watching the pets! I know CPR for our fury friends too! I have two dogs of my own as well as four cats so I am completely comfortable with a variety. I am a college student working on my masters online while working another job as well. My schedule is pretty straight forward for me so pet care will fit well as long as I keep my calendar balanced. I am comfortable house sitting for both dogs and cats. I am more than capable of crating or letting pets out to potty. I usually keep treats on me anytime I care for a furry friend. When I walk animals, I usually go for 30 minutes to an hour so that they get the excercise needed. I also have bags for when they do their business on a walk.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life (I’m 60) except for the last 7 years. I love loving on sweet animals. I’ve had dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, big dogs and little dogs. Love them all! I work full time but can work remotely, if necessary. Otherwise, I’m home most of the time. I have a fenced backyard that is small. My home is a single story. I could also pet sit in the pets own home so they are familiar with their surroundings. My yard is fenced and I don’t currently have any pets living in the home. Your pet would get all of my attention. I’m easy going and patient and adaptable to your pet’s needs.

About: I have grown up with animals of all kinds young and old. I was a volunteer at an animal shelter and humane society where I fostered bunnies and I was a camp counselor showing kids how to properly interact with animals (including reptiles). I have experience in pet sitting for 6 years for friends and family. I also worked on a dairy farm for 3 years where I would care for cows and all the other barnyard animals that guests would come to visit. I have had dogs, cats, critters, reptiles and farm animals throughout my life. Currently I have 2 Maine Coons, Simba and Kiara and I have a bearded dragon, Tad Cooper. About: Since childhood, I have enjoyed the companionship of dogs. The first family pet I knew for nearly its entire lifetime was our rescue beagle my family adopted when I was about 8 years old. I have pet sat in the past, both overnight/in-home sitting, in addition to drop in visits to feed and let dogs outside for potty time. I have experience caring for senior pets, adults and puppies. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
