About: I currently live and work remotely in Lawrence, Kansas, near Clinton Lake, which allows me to provide attentive and dependable care throughout the day. I have extensive experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I’m committed to treating every animal as if it were my own. While attending the University of Kansas, I volunteered for nearly two years at my local Humane Society, gaining valuable hands-on experience caring for dogs. Since I work from home I'll have plenty of time to be attentive towards your pet(s). With flexible hours and being an active person, I will make sure your dog(s) have a safe & happy stay. If you have an active dog(s) to stay with me here in Lawrence, we can do activities at the dog park (on-site) or even places like Clinton Lake and Mutt Run which is nearby too.

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 years old and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats, and I currently have four dogs of my own, so I’ve always been surrounded by animals. I work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I supervise playgroups, feed dogs, give medications when needed, and make sure they’re safe and having a good time. Working there has given me experience with all kinds of dogs and taught me how important it is to pay attention to each pet’s individual needs. I’m also experienced with cats and am happy to care for both friendly, outgoing cats and the more shy, independent ones. I recently graduated from high school and will be starting my pre-veterinary studies at JCCC this fall. My dream is to become a veterinarian! My boyfriend, Cameron, is 20 and helps me with pet sitting. He loves animals just as much as I do and has plenty of experience with them. He helped train our German Shepherd from puppyhood and grew up with several cats, so he’s comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I just like to let everyone know that Cameron may accompany me on visits or overnight stays. We both genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and we’ll make sure your pets are loved and well cared for while you’re away. I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. So I am able to check your pets every 4-5 hours. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs. When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or plenty of cuddles, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’d love the chance to meet you and your pets! About: I have taken care of many dogs since I was 14 just through word of mouth. I am excited to meet more sweet dogs through this!! I work mornings and can walk dogs in the evenings during the week and afternoons/ evenings on Sundays! My schedule may change soon so that I can be available some mornings. About: I grew up on a farm taking care of a wide variety of animals, and now have a husky of my own who is part of my family. We love taking walks, hikes, and exploring the sniff spots at the park, so I understand how important exercise, enrichment, and routine are for pets. I also have experience volunteering in animal husbandry for a wildlife rehab center, so this is truly a passion and lifestyle for me. Pets are our family. Whether your dog loves long adventures, leisurely walks, or simply relaxing at home, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is being treated with the same care and attention I'd give my own. I work a remote job which means I have flexibility to take care of your pet(s) throughout the day, and of course flexibility in the evenings and weekends. I currently do not offer in-home care at this time due to limited space. However, I am available to visit your home for check-ins and walks.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old and started caring for them at a young age. Now I even have my own dog who isn’t always super calm so I understand how to help anxious pups as well as how to give them their medications! I’ve also been pet sitting for quite some time whenever a coworker or friend needs someone for the weekend! I just work part time so I’m really flexible and available to spend time with your pups! I just ask that expectations are made clear for time at the beginning! I am used to having a fenced in area but I’m also more than happy to walk your dog on a leash if that’s what they need for exercise!

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, took care of them and have a great passion for animals. I’ve had my own pets since 2007 (2 cats and a dog). Since 2020 I have fostered animals for a local shelter including dogs, puppies as young as 6 months, and kittens as young as 5 weeks. I have basic experience in dog training. I have a dedicated space (spare bedroom) to keep any animals separate from mine, but if they are dog and cat friendly they could be free roaming in the house when I am home. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for years! I have lots of experience with different breeds and many different types of caregiving. Some of my experience includes watching two very active pit bull mix siblings. I would check in on the dogs 4+ times per day, take each one on a 2+ mile walk every day, and spend at least 1-2 hours of sit down time so they weren’t lonely. I watched those lovely dogs for 2-3 weeks at a time for numerous years! My most recent experience was taking care of Two english pointers, a rottweiler, and smaller mutt dog for 3 nights! Each dog had a separate feeding space and interactive form of eating. I made sure to follow their owners specific instructions and give the dogs lots of walks, outside time, and sit down time for 5+ hours a day! As well as the dogs I took care of two goats at that home as well! I am very capable of walking and pet sitting many different dogs. I have experience with smaller dogs like Mini poodles, to high energy large dogs like weimaraners. I will do my best to give your animals the love and care they deserve. I will make sure that they are healthy, safe, and most importantly happy! I pet sit in STL over the summer and Lawrence KS from August-May Between May-August I work part time at the Sunset Country club. Even with my work I should and will be able to schedule and give your pets the best of care that includes at least 3 or more check ins per day and walks twice or more a day, depending on their needs and your request. I do not work Mondays, which makes me more free! From August-May I am a full time student with a lot of free time to walk pets, stop in, watch them, and more! I care for pets to the best of my ability and give them the most love and care I am capable of! Between my two households, I have 2 dogs and recently one that passed. About: Taken care of family dogs since 2010, ranging from small to large breeds. Experience in caring for more than one dog at a time. Comfortable walking small to large dogs. I have my own dog, she is a 2 year old dachshund-poodle mix who loves to play with dogs. I trained her since she was a puppy and is fully vaccinated and house-trained. Will provide loving care for your pets as I would my own. Full-Time student at KU. I live close to campus and can provide pet care in between classes throughout the day. Free availability on weekends and holidays. In class starting in August from 9am-3pm MWF, 12pm-6pm on Tuesday, and 12pm-2pm on Thursday. I have free periods on MWF to check in on pets and provide meals or walks. I have one small (20lbs) female dog who is spayed, fully vaccinated, and trained. My dog loves other dogs and is used to living with small to large dogs. I monitor pets closely during visits to make sure they are safe.

About: I have been working for a dog boarding and daycare facility for about 2 years now. I have learned lots about dog behavior and how to interact with lots of different personalities- and I am still learning every day! I have experience in administering medications and would love to meet your pup! I currently work full-time caring for pets at a daycare facility, typically working either 6-1 or 1-7 Tuesday through Saturday. Fully available on Sunday and Monday! I have my own pup who is fixed and very friendly! I can bring him along if you want your dog to have any socialization or burn extra energy, but I am also more than happy to focus on your pet!

About: I have a lot of experience taking care of neighborhood pets, during neighbors vacations, etc. I enjoyed it! I've taken care of dogs, cats, a bearded dragon, and rabbits. I'm currently avalable any day of the week, day or evening. (except Sunday morning). Currently looking for full time employment and will verify when i'm avalible. I calmly approach them and give them some affection (giving them belly rubs, petting them, etc) . I am always careful about their safety, by using a leash, or making sure their inside enviroment is secured. I will feed and water pets according to client instructions. About: I have had dogs in my life for more than 25 years. I have adopted and fostered a variety of pets, including a couple with trauma in their past. All of our experiences have been positive and we have forged great bonds. I have been through dog training and have experience with administering medications. We have a roomy home and a nice backyard for play etc. Our household is low key and we are very flexible. I am happy yo come to your home as well, I understand that can be more comfortable for your pets. I have experience working with pets that are not my own, you can be confident that I have seen it all, nothing upsets me! I work a part time job, and also have a home-based business, with lots of flexibility in my schedule. My husband is retired, he is my backup so coverage is not an issue. In your home, I follow the guidelines you establish. If something unexpected comes up, I get in touch with you or use my discretion (depending on urgency and situation). Since I have raised my own children, owned multiple dogs, have worked in Elder Care, and now work as a Nanny, handling crazy things and responding to true emergencies is part of my skill set. In my own home, we have a relaxed routine, and we have time to spend with our doggie guests. We have created a calming environment to help manage any separate anxiety or stress. (We do not currently have our own pets, sadly)
