Terra was so flexible when we had to make some last minute changes to her care schedule due to our kitty, Nickel, coming down with a UTI the morning we were leaving for vacation. Terra proceeded to take such great care of Nickel. She kept us regularly updated about how Nickel was doing, and sent pictures, which were so comforting to see. Nickel was not so sure about taking his meds from a new person, but Terra did a great job working with him and trying different strategies to help him. About: I have taken care of pets since I was 13 and house sat since I was 15!! I was also a kennel tech for a year! This included giving medication, bathing, feeding, and just plain old watching the pets! I know CPR for our fury friends too! I have two dogs of my own as well as four cats so I am completely comfortable with a variety. I am a college student working on my masters online while working another job as well. My schedule is pretty straight forward for me so pet care will fit well as long as I keep my calendar balanced. I am comfortable house sitting for both dogs and cats. I am more than capable of crating or letting pets out to potty. I usually keep treats on me anytime I care for a furry friend. When I walk animals, I usually go for 30 minutes to an hour so that they get the excercise needed. I also have bags for when they do their business on a walk.

About: I have had dogs in my home for almost my whole life. I have a pug, golden retriever, and a mutt that are all a couple years apart in age. For two years, I volunteered at a humane society where I walked and cared for dogs of all kinds. Senior, puppy, sick, I have a lot of experience and I would love to get more! I’m currently working at a golf course near Forest Lake. My schedule for work comes out weekly, so I’m unaware what my weeks look like well in advance. I don’t like to do this, but if your pups are able to be home for about 6-8, then this would be a great fit! Obviously I wouldn’t work every day of the week, so I will be available to give them my full attention. Your pups are my priority and I wouldn’t want them to feel uncomfortable with my wack work schedule in any way. My shifts will either be 6-2 or 2-9, or shorter. I prioritize respect for your space and routines. Whether your pet prefers potty breaks in a fenced yard or leashed walks, I’ll follow your preferences to keep them comfortable and safe.

I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for years! I have lots of experience with different breeds and many different types of caregiving. Some of my experience includes watching two very active pit bull mix siblings. I would check in on the dogs 4+ times per day, take each one on a 2+ mile walk every day, and spend at least 1-2 hours of sit down time so they weren’t lonely. I watched those lovely dogs for 2-3 weeks at a time for numerous years! My most recent experience was taking care of Two english pointers, a rottweiler, and smaller mutt dog for 3 nights! Each dog had a separate feeding space and interactive form of eating. I made sure to follow their owners specific instructions and give the dogs lots of walks, outside time, and sit down time for 5+ hours a day! As well as the dogs I took care of two goats at that home as well! I am very capable of walking and pet sitting many different dogs. I have experience with smaller dogs like Mini poodles, to high energy large dogs like weimaraners. I will do my best to give your animals the love and care they deserve. I will make sure that they are healthy, safe, and most importantly happy! I pet sit in STL over the summer and Lawrence KS from August-May Between May-August I work part time at the Sunset Country club. Even with my work I should and will be able to schedule and give your pets the best of care that includes at least 3 or more check ins per day and walks twice or more a day, depending on their needs and your request. As a grad student and current renter, I can’t have pets of my own so am glad to have the chance to get some cuddles in with yours.
