“Recently my oldest son was getting married out of state. An event, no mother would ever think of missing. I would be gone for a week in October, along with my entire family. Over the last few months I couldn’t help worrying about who, or where, I was going to get to care, for my two cats. Everyone I knew who could possibly take on this task, wasn’t available for the day’s or times I needed. I was tired of feeling sick to my stomach over this and knew I’d have to find someone I didn’t know, to come into my home for seven days and care for my beloved pets. I came across the website “Rover”. I looked over the website at least ten times. I kept thinking, this is the type of job I would LOVE to have! But, at that moment, I wasn’t trying to find a job, I needed to find the right person who was trustworthy and reliable. I looked over several people, I wanted someone who was close to where I live. When I care for other people’s pets, they’re treated the same way I treat my own and that’s the type of pet sitter I wanted. That’s the moment I reached out to Angela. When I first reached out to her and found out she was available for the dates I needed, I was ecstatic . We scheduled a Meet & Greet prior to my trip. I explained how shy my cats were and was even unsure they would come out to meet her that day. Unfortunately, they hid so Angela was unable to meet them. I knew by talking to her that first day, I would have nothing to worry about with the care of my cats. Angela was great, not only at getting any picture she could, of my bashful fur babies, and sending pictures daily, but followed all directions regarding feeding, watering and everything else we went over during our visit. I commend Angela for her honesty, trust, and the excellent care and time she so generously provided. It’s obvious to see, the love she truly has for all animals, and with her kind heart, I’ve no doubt, that love, is returned to her, from every animal she cares for. 💕🐈‍⬛ 🐈 Thank you, Angela. About: I feel I am great with interacting with animals. I make sure they are shown love when I am with them and I make sure they are well taken care of and in a clean area. I will be a college student and will use my free time to make sure your animals are cared for. Some days I may not be able to but I will do my best to make things work. Our dog is treated with love. She is like a human in our home. She eats with us at the same time and gets to play and hangout with us wherever. We take her on walks and we make sure she is loved.

About: I’ve never known a time during my life when I didn’t have a pet. My family had several dogs and I even owned some exotic pets. My current doggo is Kali, a five year old Bernedoodle. As somebody who is highly empathetic by nature, I connect really easily with animals. For this reason, family and friends always trusted me to take care of their loved fur friends. I work well with young to old pets, and am accustomed to very gentle training and care with lots of love. This is my full time gig. I’m autistic, so being around animals is both therapeutic and what I enjoy as I find it to be much less stress inducing than work that requires socialization. I also have a special connection with animals as I’m a very empathetic person and read energies well. I have a yard and a friendly, trained bernedoodle that works very well with other dogs. She’s been in training and daycare since she was a puppy. Your pets are more than welcome to have a playmate if they’re friendly as well. I also have a large crate if your pet needs kenneled. I give pets constant attention and honestly spoil them, so to me they are just another family member.

I’ve cared for a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, exotic pets, and farm animals, and I’m confident handling pets with varying temperaments, ages, and medical needs. My professional background includes working at a Pet Hotel and Resort, where I supervised playgroups and provided overnight care for both dogs and cats. I’ve also completed one year of Vet Tech training, giving me a strong foundation in animal health, behavior, and medication administration. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’m currently a graduate student at the Colorado School of Mines completing my coursework online, and I’m based in Fort Collins. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to plan my day around pet care needs. At home, I have a young dog and a very young puppy, so I’m already on a structured routine that includes regular feeding 3 times a day, potty breaks, training, and enrichment. Because of this, I’m reliably home at least 3 time periods a day and all night. I’m available for pet care up to three times per day for sessions lasting up to four hours each, which works well for walks, drop-ins, playtime, training reinforcement, and meals or medications times. I’m dependable, punctual, and attentive to maintaining each pet’s normal routine. Safety and trust are my top priorities in every home I care for. Whether I’m caring for pets in my client’s home or my own, I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any medical or behavioral needs before care begins. I have extensive experience with young puppies, including potty training, crate training, supervision, and enforcing safe boundaries. I’m especially vigilant with pets who are known to swallow foreign objects, and I practice constant supervision, environmental checks, and proactive management to prevent accidents as I have had 2 dogs with issues eating non-edible objects. I’m also very comfortable caring for dogs recovering from surgery or illness. With my vet tech training and medical foster experience, I can confidently administer medications, monitor incision sites, restrict activity as needed, and watch closely for any signs of discomfort or complications. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have owned 8 dogs total, with as many as four at one time. I’ve cared for all kinds of breeds and personalities, from Great Danes and German Shepherds to Sheepadoodles, Airedales, and mixed breeds. I’m very comfortable with both large and small dogs, energetic dogs, and puppies. I also have experience around litters of puppies since one of my dogs had puppies multiple times while I was growing up, so I’m used to younger dogs and all the energy that comes with them. I genuinely love spending time with dogs, whether that’s playing, going on walks, giving attention, or just making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m very patient, responsible, and will treat your pets like they’re my own. I’m a college student home for break, so I have a very flexible schedule and lots of free time. I just ask for 3 days notice for changes! I have two big dogs at home, so I’m very comfortable with active dogs and daily care routines. I love playing, cuddling, feeding, and keeping pets active and comfortable.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for at least 25 years. My in laws have 2 lovable labradoodles who I just adore. I haven't met a dog or cat that I havent loved and taken good care of like my own pet. I currently am working on a part-time basis for dog/cat and house sitting. I think that families and single people should be able to have the freedom to go on vacations or out of town without worring about their pets or home. I want to give you peace of mind to enjoy going out of town or on a long needed vacation. I wouldn't be able to have pets come to my home because I dont have a fenced yard. I take my dog out on a leash. I am available to come to clients homes because my husband is able to take care of Sadie while I am away from home.
