“Paige is a wonderful sitter! She was warm and welcoming to our two dogs, and sent updates (including an adorable video of her child playing with our dogs!). Her house is spacious for the dogs to stretch out, and the fenced yard was ideal. I especially appreciate her flexibility when our flight (and therefore our return home) was delayed by a few hours. Highly recommend!”

“I had a last minute emergency and Erica came through for us. Very kind and loving family. It is obvious how much affection they have for animals. Daisy did great and I never worried about her for a moment. It was a good experience for us.”

About: Hi! I’m a responsible, caring, and dependable dog lover with over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. While living with my parents, I helped care for our three family dogs—a Golden Retriever mix, a Husky mix, and a Labrador mix. I currently have a friendly 9-month-old Goldendoodle mix who lives with me. My home has a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play, exercise, and relax. I only host one guest dog at a time so I can provide personalized care and attention. I treat every dog like family and provide plenty of playtime, potty breaks, exercise, love, and regular photo updates so owners always know how their pet is doing. My goal is to provide a safe, clean, loving, and stress-free environment where every dog feels comfortable, happy, and at home. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I have a flexible schedule and make time every day to provide loving and attentive care. I can provide regular potty breaks, playtime, exercise, feeding, and plenty of attention. I keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so they always know how their dog is doing. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and exercise. I currently have one friendly 9-month-old Goldendoodle mix and only host one guest dog at a time to provide personalized care. My home is clean, safe, and filled with love, and I carefully follow each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions provided by the owner.
“Robert is the best! We have booked with him twice and plan to book again in the future. He provides lots of updates and photos and cares for our boy so well!”

“Brian & family was great to work with and took great care of my dogs. Max, the smasher one, was especially happy with two new children to play with! Brian was responsive and flexible and I would use him again if ever near Middletown!”

“Anne took great care of our dog, Ralph, while we were away. We got daily photo and text updates that gave us total peace of mind. Ralph came home happy and relaxed. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Jessica, Abu and Justin are the canine equivalent of the cat’s meow of dog sitters. Jessica is quick to communicate, easy going, and so knowledgeable! The backyard and house are well suited to canine guests. We can’t say enough good things and though our sweet dog is a homebody, we think he’s actually looking forward to his next stay and whatever adventures await him. Abu is one of a kind and a gentle, friendly host. THANK YOU!”

“Austin was great. This was my first time ever boarding my four-year-old American bully. She does have some anxiety and stress issues. He was Fantastic with her from the start and made it easy for me to start the booking right from the beginning I would definitely recommend him. He kept me updated throughout her stay, which was a full three days and answered any concerns and questions I had along the way. I will definitely book again with Austin.”

“Yunshu and her family took excellent care of my Mini Schnauzer, Harry. I received photos and videos often while I was away. Her two little girls loved playing and walking Harry So he was kept busy all the time so he didn't have time to miss me. HaHa. Their house is very clean and well kept and I knew he was in great hands when I first visited. I will definitely have Yunshu watch Harry again when I take a trip.”

“Carolina was great with Kobe. This was our second time using Carolina. She communicated with me throughout the stay and sends pictures that ensures me that Kobe was in good hands. I look forward to booking Carolina for future stays.”

“We are repeat clients and we will be coming back! Anely is incredible. She gave us constant detailed updates of our fur baby, allowing us to enjoy our weekend out of town with total ease! Bonus - our pup has epilepsy and requires medication, and Anely made sure she never missed her scheduled medication :)”

“Moose LOVES when we go away and its only bc he gets to go see his second family at zachs . Hes loved and spoiled the same way we would at home. Zach is definitely a great choice for pet sitting.”

“Recently relocated back to the area and needed to find a dog sitter for my 8lbs Chi/Terrier mix. Have always had great experiences with Rover.com, but this time we hit the jackpot!! Perfect family to care for my little guy while I get away for a little me time. Knowing he’s well taken care of and loved.”
“These are the most awesome sitters that I would want to use them all the time if they were always available and not doing stupid things like going on vacation or watching other people’s dogs! Just kidding they’re the best!!! Aiko had a blast and loves them and can’t wait to use them again!!!”

“We can’t say enough amazing things about Maddy and Joseph! This was our pup, Teddy’s second week-long stay over at their house and he never wants to come home! We call Norman & Salem his Corgi Crew! Maddy sends so many awesome pictures and updates. We truly can’t imagine trusting our Teddy with better people. Maddy even made a Valentine of Teddy wearing a heart bandana and sent it home with him when we picked him up. We really appreciate their level of love and care for our baby!”

“Taylor was great! She provided updates each day Clover was there and Clover warmed up to her quickly! Taylor is so kind and reliable. I'm looking forward to bringing Clover back and, hopefully, my pup, Flora!”

Melissa was a fantastic sitter for our pup! It was his first time staying with someone other than family and we could not have picked a better person! Melissa was so easy going, kept us informed through out his stay, sent pics and videos and even took him on a hike! I felt like he was with someone I knew while he was with Melissa and Sunny! Highly recommend and look forward to more sleepovers for Charlie!

Isabel and her family took care of our cat, Max, for about 2 weeks while we were traveling. He was so calm when we picked him up, I think he didn't want to leave! She kept us updated every few days with pictures letting us know how Max was doing. Next time we're in need of a cat sitter in Rhode Island, we're contacting Isabel!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in RI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
