About: I am very patient and loving with the pets I take care of. I try to create a true sanctuary at my apartment and a stress-free environment for the pet while away from home. Growing up, we had a huge Saint Bernard dog and later a Turkish Angora cat for many years. This is how I developed unconditional love for my furry friends. I also have some experience taking care of birds. I am open to any challenge, though. I make sure that your pet is very well groomed during its stay and is not left alone for too long. My building is tranquil and doesn't have loud noises that can scare most kitties and doggies. :-) There are plenty of birds and squirrels to watch out for outside large windows. So fun! I send plenty of videos and photos, multiple and daily, so it is also a stress-free experience for pet owners. I can do some dog and cat training and administer medication if needed. I am available at the last minute and have plenty of time to give your pet my attention throughout the day. I work from home so your pet will spend most of his\her day around me I live alone in a private and spacious apartment with plenty of space for anything my pets may need while they are away from home. Pets love watching birds and squirrels outside my windows.

“Kiyomi took such good care of our two dogs while our family was on vacation that we were able to truly enjoy our vacation without worrying about anything. Our lucky dogs got more walks than they get with us on a normal basis, and she even did some light training or reinforcement of training and games with them to keep their interest up. She sent batches pf photos daily with an update of what they did that day which our kids loved since they missed the dogs so much. I am also available for day sits (daycare in your home). . Unlike many sitters, I do not need to leave during the day for long periods. All I need is a place to work with reliable high speed WiFi, in a clean, comfortable, quiet space without cameras or audio recording. . I can feed and take the dog(s) out to potty in the morning before starting work and I can take the dog(s) on a potty break midday. . Disclaimer: I reserve the right to leave to get food and basic necessities during a house sit at any point. I also reserve the right to leave for 4-6 hours during the day. . Constant Care: Pets requiring constant care will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to additional fees depending on the pets specific needs. I consider a pet to need constant care if the pet: (1) cannot be left for 4 hours at a time and/or (2) will need supervision or attention during 8 hours overnight (sleep time for me) or during the day while I work. In-person Meet & Greets are required prior to all services for new clients. I need to meet the pet(s) and assess temperament. . For dogs I want to go on a walk with the dogs and make sure the leashes, collars and equipment used to walk the pet is in good condition and the pet cannot slip out of the equipment. I want to see the typical walk environment and assess potential safety hazards (coyotes, aggressive dogs behind flimsy fences, debris in the area, etc.) and logistical issues (elevators, stairs, parking). . For all pets the in-person Meet & Greet will also allow me to assess the escape risks for pets and options for minimizing these risks. . The Meet & Greet will also allow you the opportunity to meet me in person, ask me questions and see me interact with your pet. Entrusting your pet and your home to a stranger is a very important decision for you and it should be taken seriously. If for some reason you do feel comfortable with me watching your pets or staying in your house after the Meet & Greet, you should meet with another sitter and find one that matches your needs. . Miscellaneous: I do not plan to bring any people or pets (other than the ones you are asking me to watch) into your home while I pet sit. . Disclaimer: I reserve the right to refuse the sit if after the Meet and Greet I am not comfortable with the situation. While I have experience with aggressive dogs and cats, my overnight sit rate is for social/well-adjusted animals. Animals in need of behavioral modification or that pose a safety risk to myself or others should be boarded at a facility that is geared towards aggressive animals. Similarly, while I have experience caring for animals post surgery or animals experiencing acute medical conditions, my overnight rate is for healthy animals and/or animals with well-controlled chronic conditions. Medically fragile animals should be boarded at a veterinary facility with 24/7 staffing.

About: I have always enjoyed caring for other’s pets. Although I don’t have any of my own I never pass up the chance to care for a family member or friend’s pet. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, big, and small dogs, cats, and even birds! I truly enjoy bonding and creating a comfortable space for whoever’s pet I watch.
