About: I’ve never taken care of a dog, just cats. But I’ve always wanted one so badly since I have consciousness. My parents bought me a self guided book on taking care of dogs (when I didnt even have one because I was obsessed). I’m still actively learning about dog behaviors, etc since I can’t not wait to adopt a dog when I have my own place. I’ve volunteered at a pet shelter to do weekly cleaning of their living spaces. I cleaned litter box, and played with the kittens while providing potential adoptee information about the cats available. I will be very cautious about every opening/exit they can run away from, as well as meeting their needs while providing amble and productivity play.

“Monica stayed at our home with our fur babies (2 dogs and 3 cats) for a few days over the 4th of July this year and she was amazing. She send us lots of updates, photos and videos throughout her stay, and made sure we knew they were all doing well. We were so nervous about leaving our babies over the holiday with all the fireworks, but she handled their medication and let them snuggle with her and ensured they were safe. “5 stars!! Michele was extremely attentive and outstanding for both of our pets. We were in constant contact and she was very sweet and accommodating at all hours. We have a diabetic dog who needed extra attention and Michele was very much on top of that especially because the first few days were really hard on our dog’s sugars. She was very responsive, thoughtful and prioritized the safety and comfort of our pups, consulting with a Rover vet when she felt that our dog’s condition was becoming more emergent. She also left our house cleaner than when she started her stay. We would be so lucky to have her watch any of our family members again and hope to see her again in the future!”

I have a certificate in veterinary assisting and I interned at a veterinary clinic for 2 months where I gained valuable experience with dogs and cats of all ages, I am cpr certified, I can give oral medication and injectable medications like insulin. I currently work at a middle school so I am unavailable Monday-Friday 730am-3pm however after June 4th I am available full time. Right now I can do drop in visits after 3pm on week days and any time on the weekends I rent a room in my friends house but I have a door to the backyard in my room so I have quick access to the yard for playtime or potty breaks.
