About: I have more 10+ years walking and babysitting young and senior dogs (5 years on Rover). Since I was 7, I cared for dogs, cats, turtles, goldfish, parakeets, chickens, rabbits, and mice. My mom refused to let me have a snake but that definitely would’ve been on my list. I work full time Mondays to Thursdays, but I always make it important to exercise after work. On weekends I am available for walks and drop-ins. I’d be happy to love and care for your dog, and send you pictures of appreciating your dog throughout the day. If you have to leave for a weekend for a holiday or extended vacation, I have experience staying overnight in a client’s home. For drop-in visits I can feed and play with your pet. I can also water your plants or double-check if your AC is off and appliances are unplugged.

Monica did a great job housesitting and watching Baby while I was out of town for a couple of days. My dog was comfortable around her and that helped me relax knowing he was in good hands. I will definitely reach out to her next time I’m looking for a house sitter.

Jarely did an exceptional job taking care of my 2 pups! We met up beforehand so she could meet the pups and show her what the expectations for the pups were. She watched, fed, cared for my furbabies as if they were her own. She provided so many pics and videos. Also she responds very quickly. I will definitely be rebooking with her for whenever I go out of town! Thanks so much Jarely! You were amazing!

About: That distinguishes me is a blend of specific talents, such as constructive reinforcement puppy training and caring geriatric pet care, as well as a solid basis that includes dependability, understanding, and respect. I provide clear communication, a cautious approach to families and pets, and a true love of animals that motivates me to go beyond what is necessary to guarantee their comfort and pleasure. I understand that you're trusting me with your beloved pets and home, which is why I prioritize showing up on time, following instructions, and maintaining clear communication every time. I have a solid understanding of common animal behaviors, allowing me to recognize and adapt to individual pet personalities and quirks for a stress-free experience. I’m currently looking for anything part time to make extra income and trying to be happy in what i would want to try and do, so i’ll do the best I can to make time for everything. I have a fenced yard, friendly animals, and if needed I’m able to separate from eachother. I will do anything to make any pet feel comfortable and safe. My pet care services provide for a pet's essential needs like food, water, shelter, exercise, and health, while also offering companionship.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, from cats and dogs to horses, turtles, and birds. Caring for pets has always been second nature to me, and I have over 20 years of hands-on experience. I’ve raised and cared for cats and dogs of all ages, including seniors who need extra patience and attention. I also practice self-taught dog training and am currently working with a dog on service animal behaviors. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets like my own. My goal is to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care every time. I’m currently not working, which means I can dedicate plenty of time to caring for pets every day. My schedule is very flexible, so I’m available on weekdays and weekends for walks, playtime, drop-ins, or boarding. This allows me to give pets my full attention and keep them happy, active, and well cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I live in a gated community with access to a dog park, which is perfect for safe play and exercise. I also have one friendly dog who enjoys companionship, but I can easily provide separate space if your pet prefers quiet time. I always follow owner instructions closely and treat every pet as if they were part of my family.

My dog loves Camille! I’m super thankful she’s been such a good pet sitter for my little Alfred. Camille recently house sat for me, and she was such a respectful sitter. The house was just as clean as when we left, and I’m thankful she’s so good with my dog.

About: Being a pet owner my whole life has allowed me to understand dogs very well! I’ve dealt with bigger breeds like German Shepards and Pitt bulls, smaller breeds have always gotten along well with my demeanor. I have majority of the day to walk or take dogs to a park or allow them to explore the deserts. Let me know your dogs preference of activity. I stick to the rules, let me know what your dogs need or if they have anything that is specific for them that needs to get done!

About: I’ve never taken care of a dog, just cats. But I’ve always wanted one so badly since I have consciousness. My parents bought me a self guided book on taking care of dogs (when I didnt even have one because I was obsessed). I’m still actively learning about dog behaviors, etc since I can’t not wait to adopt a dog when I have my own place. I’ve volunteered at a pet shelter to do weekly cleaning of their living spaces. I cleaned litter box, and played with the kittens while providing potential adoptee information about the cats available. I will be very cautious about every opening/exit they can run away from, as well as meeting their needs while providing amble and productivity play.

What a blessing Chloe was/is for our family. We have never left our pups with anyone other than family. I was definitely more anxious than the dogs. Chloe stayed at our home for two days and nights and my anxiety went away. She communicated with us, took care of our babies (dogs), and our home. She is now part of the family and we will be having her back again. Thank you Chloe for everything.

I think my dogs said it best with their buttons while Shannon was watching them, “happy love you!” Not only did Shannon communicate often, but she sent pictures and videos so I could see just how happy my pups were. They have asked for her by pressing their “Shannon” button every day since she left, so we will definitely be having her over again soon!

About: While I may not have extensive professional pet-sitting experience, I have been around dogs my entire life and have cared for breeds of all sizes, from small companions to large dogs. I also have experience working in pet stores, where I learned about animal behavior, health, and proper care. Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I genuinely enjoy building trusting bonds with them. I am patient, attentive, playful, and committed to making sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, or simply providing companionship, I will give your pet the attention and affection they deserve. I understand that your pet is a cherished member of your family, and I will care for them as if they were my own. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I would love the opportunity to earn your trust and become your dog’s sitter or walker! Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine. Having been around dogs my entire life, I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, grooming, and making sure pets get the attention and exercise they need. I enjoy spending time with animals and understand the importance of consistency, patience, and routine in keeping them happy and healthy. Throughout the week, I make time for outdoor activities and exercise, so incorporating dog walks and pet care fits naturally into my schedule. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs and enjoy providing companionship, enrichment, and a safe, caring environment while their owners are away. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I do my best to keep them on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and bathroom breaks throughout the day. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs, so I take the time to get to know them and build trust. FAQs for House Sitting - Antelope Center

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Antelope Center on Rover is $41.63 per night (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of June 2026, there are 1,315 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Antelope Center. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Antelope Center walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Antelope Center maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Antelope Center choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Antelope Center. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
