“Ana and Mitchell were incredibly caring with Sophie. I needed a last-minute sitter for Sophie, who isn’t used to being home alone yet at 5 months, and they were amazing. What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. Had a mixed Rottweiler pup who followed me one rainy night, named him Lucky. Another rainy night years later a kitten followed me to my door, named her Pandora. Rescued a cat from inside a car hood once. Found an injured red cheeked parrot on the sidewalk, who I brought back to health and released back with its flock. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, I say with a little patience and lots of love you can teach any animal something new. I have had parents who's dog isn't so social walk up to me, sniff and ask to be pet. The parent telling me they don't EVER do that. Wouldn't mind a crazy active dog, love to stay active by walking around our beautiful parks. My week is pretty flexible I have a lot of free time on my paws. So your children will be very well looked after, they might get annoyed with having me around so much. Have a small yard that has a very small brick wall. I know the importance of safety and always having dog on leash. In-home in or out of crate is fine. And home visits whatever the owner is comfortable with.
About: I own a pup of my own, an adorable Morkie that’s 8 months old. I have also taken care of others’ dogs, cats, and homes in a multitude of experiences! I have experience housesitting, dog sitting, cat sitting, and baby sitting! I am currently not working for the month of July so my schedule is very flexible and available to meet your needs! I am also highly skilled with cats of all age groups as well as I spent my summers on a farm with both cats dogs and horses . I have no issue going beyond the needs of the owner and taking the extra mile to make your pet build a level of comfortabilty with me and the space provided . I am an 1099 contract worker , I make my own schedules , from home , work out in between ( walks etc ) . I offer baording in my home and at the house sitter experience in my pet parent's home , whichever is more convenient for the care of the pets .

“Loretta and her family were wonderful with my two dogs. One of my dogs has anxiety and is very skittish around new people. I brought my dogs to meet them about two weeks prior to leaving on my vacation. They have a great yard and I felt it would be a great place for them. Loretta and her family went above and beyond and my dogs felt so comfortable and happy while they were there. They played with them, gave me updates and sent photos and gave them a bath and groomed them. I absolutely will recommend them for anyone needing boarding for their dogs. Communication was quick and responsive — they even sent me a photo and an update when I checked in to see how my dog was doing. Overall, I appreciated their flexibility and care, and my dog seemed happy when I picked him up.”

“Athene is wonderful! Our pup Mia stayed with her for just over a week while we visited family on the east coast. She made sure Mia felt at home and settled and is very mindful of how all the dogs interact with each other. We were able to set up several visits before our trip to meet the other dogs she would be staying with which made the drop-off and transition much easier for our timid dog. Athene is great about giving updates while you’re away and makes sure each dog is happy, safe, and healthy. When we brought Mia home she was completely exhausted from a full week of fun and play.
