What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. Sophie will definitely be back soon. About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs. I feel time together and attention is what bonds both humans and dogs, and seeing them go from anxious and confused to a happy member of "the pack" is one of the more rewarding parts of taking care of them, so I prefer stays long or frequent enough for your pup to feel at home with me and in my home, but I'm also always willing to cover a tight spot or step in for a day of daycare. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for the entire day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take only up to three dogs at a time, and mostly for medium to long term boarding, so it's a calm environment without a ton of new dogs coming and going. I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, walks, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. My space is easily partitioned to allow dogs to eat, nap, or hang out alone in peace if that's what they prefer. I have a doggy door for dogs who like to let themselves in/out at their leisure. (it's about 50/50 whether they figure it out and make use of it lol) I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I don't generally use kennels or crates, but if your dog prefers or is used to using one, by all means bring it along. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture. I have found even "reactive" and "solitary" dogs very quickly acclimate to a more social environment (it usually only takes 3-4 hours) and I never leave them together unsupervised until they're demonstrating clear friendliness to each other. Many dog parents bring their pups over just for this kind of socialization, and it's great to watch a dog that "hates all other dogs" running and playing in the yard with the group after snarling at everyone just a few hours before.

I am an early riser so tend to be up and moving by 7am the latest to get pet care sorted straight away and leaves me enough time to do thorough care routines prior to work. After work which can finish from 3-6pm Monday to Friday, I am free all evening to provide the necessary pet care I have a relatively smallish studio around 400 square feet that has a large window overlooking the city that can open but is not accessible (ie no pet or human can get outside just look outside). The pets are able to go wherever they want in the studio- bed, chairs, table etc (if they want!). The apartment is secure and inaccessible to most unless I let them in so is a safe home. I will ensure the pets if left alone are always safely in the apartment and have access to their food and water at all times. Extra accommodations like pads can be added to the house if not house trained. Animal safety and wellbeing is my upmost priority. As an animal owner myself, I understand the fear and anxiety with trusting someone to look after your angels which is why I treat all pets like my own and go above and beyond to ensure their safety. Open consistent communication is crucial to create a trusting relationship where the pets are at the heart of the conversation always so I will always send regular updates with photos throughout the day/night to ensure pet owners are involved and aware of what's going on
About: I have 20 years of experience in dog care and can take house and yard and can also walk the dog on time. I’ve been raising dogs for a while now. It’s a joyful experience filled with playful moments and challenges. Every day, I learn something new about their behavior and needs. They bring so much happiness and companionship into my life. It’s amazing how much love and loyalty they show. 1. Feeding: • Once or twice a day depending on the animal and vet recommendations. 2. Fresh Water: • Change water at least once daily. 3. Exercise/Playtime: • Dogs need walks (15–30minutes depending on breed). 4. Grooming (as needed): • Brushing, checking for ticks/fleas, especially for long-haired animals. 5. Clean-ups: • Scoop litter boxes, clean up after walks, or spot-clean cages. About: I've always had a special connection with animals. My dogs and cats have been rescued, not from a pound but have come to me either from the streets or random place. Had a mixed Rottweiler pup who followed me one rainy night, named him Lucky. Another rainy night years later a kitten followed me to my door, named her Pandora. Rescued a cat from inside a car hood once. Found an injured red cheeked parrot on the sidewalk, who I brought back to health and released back with its flock. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, I say with a little patience and lots of love you can teach any animal something new. I have had parents who's dog isn't so social walk up to me, sniff and ask to be pet. The parent telling me they don't EVER do that. Wouldn't mind a crazy active dog, love to stay active by walking around our beautiful parks. My week is pretty flexible I have a lot of free time on my paws. So your children will be very well looked after, they might get annoyed with having me around so much. Have a small yard that has a very small brick wall. I know the importance of safety and always having dog on leash. In-home in or out of crate is fine. And home visits whatever the owner is comfortable with.
About: I have two cats of my own and grew up taking care of both big and little dogs and I have taken care of many animals throughout my life. Cats, dogs, lizards, birds, and even mice. I have always loved animals of all kind! 💕 I am currently a nursing student looking for a fun part time job to do on the weekends. We have crates and separate spaces available when needed, and our fenced yard provides a secure place for exercise and enrichment.
