“Ana and Mitchell were incredibly caring with Sophie. I needed a last-minute sitter for Sophie, who isn’t used to being home alone yet at 5 months, and they were amazing. What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. The other two dogs—Bokee & Penny—are my friend’s dogs that I dog-sit for whenever I’m needed. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, and I’m comfortable with any breed. Your furry friend will love hanging out with Auntie Tamara. I work for myself so I’ll have plenty of time for your fur babies. From feeding to walking to bathing to chilling, your pup and I will be the best of friends. In terms of my house, I have a yard with high walls so Sailor doesn’t even try to go anywhere unless it’s with me. About: I've always had a special connection with animals. My dogs and cats have been rescued, not from a pound but have come to me either from the streets or random place. Had a mixed Rottweiler pup who followed me one rainy night, named him Lucky. Another rainy night years later a kitten followed me to my door, named her Pandora. Rescued a cat from inside a car hood once. Found an injured red cheeked parrot on the sidewalk, who I brought back to health and released back with its flock. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, I say with a little patience and lots of love you can teach any animal something new. I have had parents who's dog isn't so social walk up to me, sniff and ask to be pet. The parent telling me they don't EVER do that. Wouldn't mind a crazy active dog, love to stay active by walking around our beautiful parks. My week is pretty flexible I have a lot of free time on my paws. So your children will be very well looked after, they might get annoyed with having me around so much. Have a small yard that has a very small brick wall. I know the importance of safety and always having dog on leash. In-home in or out of crate is fine. And home visits whatever the owner is comfortable with.

This profound connection drives me to go above and beyond to ensure the happiness and well-being of every furry friend entrusted to my care. I work in person with occasional option for remote work and a lot of flexibility with hours. I am an early riser so tend to be up and moving by 7am the latest to get pet care sorted straight away and leaves me enough time to do thorough care routines prior to work. After work which can finish from 3-6pm Monday to Friday, I am free all evening to provide the necessary pet care I have a relatively smallish studio around 400 square feet that has a large window overlooking the city that can open but is not accessible (ie no pet or human can get outside just look outside). The pets are able to go wherever they want in the studio- bed, chairs, table etc (if they want!). The apartment is secure and inaccessible to most unless I let them in so is a safe home. I will ensure the pets if left alone are always safely in the apartment and have access to their food and water at all times. Extra accommodations like pads can be added to the house if not house trained. Animal safety and wellbeing is my upmost priority. As an animal owner myself, I understand the fear and anxiety with trusting someone to look after your angels which is why I treat all pets like my own and go above and beyond to ensure their safety. Open consistent communication is crucial to create a trusting relationship where the pets are at the heart of the conversation always so I will always send regular updates with photos throughout the day/night to ensure pet owners are involved and aware of what's going on
About: I grew up with two dogs and have been surrounded by animals all of my life. I volunteer at the Humane Society by taking dogs on walks, training them, and assisting in creating engaging games for them. I am looking to apply to veterinary school in the next few years and I am currently interning at a veterinary clinic. I am constantly gaining knowledge on animal care. My love for animals has always and will always be there and I can promise you I will love your dogs as much as you do (maybe even more ;)) I am currently a college student so when I am back home for breaks: thanksgiving, winter, spring, and summer, I have a ton of availability to take care of your dogs especially during the crazy holiday times! We have a decent sized backyard for your dog to roam and there is a gate to keep them from escaping and a gated pool for safety. They are welcome anywhere in the house! Whatever rules you have, we can follow/enforce as well.
