About: I love animals and have always loved taking care of them. I have had 3 cats in my life. All of which had different needs, like administering medication and after surgery care. One of my first jobs was regularly walking an American Bulldog, Elvis. He was the sweetest! I’ve dog sat multiple times for a variety of breeds, from golden doodles to bull terriers. I work from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am able to make visits earlier in the morning, during lunch hours, and late afternoon. The bottom line is that he is fantastic with dogs and I highly recommend him!! And I am picky! My dogs need to be with someone I like and trust. I have a somewhat older German Shepard rescue who is fearful of some people and things. My second dog is a young I’d say “spirited” Golden Retriever. He gets both of them. My German Shepard likes Richardo and warmed up to him immediately, which means everything. My dogs were clearly happy while I was gone and I could tell also when I came home. For example, this past week the wild fires in Canada affected the area so they had to be inside. He kept them busy with toys, etc. He communicates well too, which is important to all of us.
