I started dog sitting about six years ago for a family friend and quickly realized how much I loved it. While I grew up with two cats and didn’t spend much time around dogs at first, dog sitting gave me the opportunity to gain hands on experience and build confidence caring for them. Since then, I’ve worked with several families who trust me to care for their dogs while they’re away, and I truly enjoy spending time with their furry friends. I’ve cared for dogs with a wide range of personalities, from shy and reserved to those who can’t get enough attention. I believe it’s very important to help pets feel comfortable and secure in their own environment while their owners are away. I take the time to understand each dog’s needs, routines, and personality so they feel safe and well cared for. I’m also a very active person and love going for walks, which are always better with a dog by my side. Whether it’s a relaxed stroll or a longer walk to burn off energy, I enjoy making sure dogs get both exercise and companionship.

Our family often travels for weeks at a time, and Rebecca has been an absolute blessing. She takes wonderful care of both our home and our dog, Max, treating him like he’s her own. Max is always happy, loved, and well cared for when we return, which means everything to us. He loves to play catch and I know he has more than enough catch time when Rebecca is around. She is trustworthy, attentive, and goes above and beyond with updates and care. We leave for long trips with total peace of mind knowing Max and our home are in such good hands. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

Schedule
I currently work full time, but I typically work from home, which allows me to be flexible with pet care throughout the day. I’m open to creating a plan that works best for both of us and meets your dog’s specific needs and routine. In the past, I’ve supported families in different ways depending on what works best for them. For example, I’ve stayed at a family’s home and worked remotely from there while they were away, ensuring their dog had consistent companionship. For other families, I’ve made multiple visits throughout the day to provide attention, walks, feeding, and fresh water. This flexibility allows me to provide reliable care while maintaining each dog’s normal routine and comfort.
