About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and absolutely love caring for animals! 🐾 I currently work at the University of Pennsylvania’s Ryan Veterinary Hospital, and my father is a critical care veterinary nurse, so animals and veterinary care have always been a big part of my life. I’m responsible, caring, and will treat your pets like my own! ❤️ I am currently available on weekends and Mondays and Fridays! I have availability Tuesday - Thursday after 6:30pm. I do have a full time job at UPenn’s Veterinary Hospital which is why my availability is limited Tuesday - Thursday. I unfortunately cannot care for pets in my home, as I have two cats of my own. I have no problem coming to your home and following any specific rules you may have for your own fur baby.
“Paz did an absolutely wonderful job watching our three pups! They were very comfortable with her. She sent lots of photos and updates. We highly recommend her, and would use her again in a heartbeat!”

About: I take a personal approach and really get to know your fur children. I love animals of all kinds. I truly enjoy being around them! I have a good amount of time to care for your furry friends as I am doing a job pivot. Please reach out. I look forward to meeting your little friends! My fur babies are exactly that, my babies. So, they have free “run” of the house under close supervision, of course. Their comfort is just as important as mine.
“We left our special needs Chihuahua with Libby for almost a week. She took kid care of the house and of our little dog. I thought he would be ballistic when we got home, but you would’ve thought we were only gone for dinner.! Thank you Libby, for taking such good care of Ranger!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for the past 4 years and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, including puppies and senior dogs. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Pet care fits well into my routine and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the attention they deserve. I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care. I make it a priority to be reliable and responsive so pet owners can feel confident and not have to worry while they are away. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so I do everything I can to make both you and your pet feel at ease. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep you updated, and make sure your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always want them to feel comfortable and secure.

“Matt was kind considerate and communicated well. When he had questions he asked and took care of our puppy very well. We felt he left our home exactly the way that we left it and treated it with respect. Matt was caring toward our puppy and provided her with exceptional care.”

“Yujie is so kind and caring, and took such great care of our animals and our house while we were away. Our dog can be anxious with new people, but she felt comfortable with Yujie right away and was also so calm and happy when we returned from our trip as well! So glad to have found Yujie and we look forward to booking her again :)”

“Angela was so wonderful! She stayed at my house for 5 days with my two dogs and cat and I truly was able to relax while I was away knowing they were in such good hands. She sent regular updates and pictures and was super responsive when I checked in. Would absolutely recommend Angela!”

“Extremely happy with our experience. Caitlin came to meet me and the dogs before I booked her. We felt very confident that she was a good fit. She was very accommodating as we were away for the holidays. Caitlin kept in touch the whole time our girls were in her care. We came home to two happy healthy dogs who were well-cared for. We definitely recommend Caitlin to anyone who wants to feel confident that their pets' needs will be fulfilled.”

“Heather was amazing and took great care of our babies, you can tell she loves animals! I also received beautiful pictures from her throughout my vacation and felt relaxed knowing they were in good hands!”

Angela is hands-down the best pet sitter we have ever had! She stayed at our house for 9 days while we were out of the country, and we were able to fully relax knowing our dog, Bear, was in the absolute best hands. She truly treated Bear like a member of her own family. To top it all off, we came home to the cutest note and beautiful flowers. Angela is amazing, professional, and genuinely cares. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-tier pet care!

I learned about Richardo through a trusted source where he came highly recommended (rescue organization I foster for), and have used him twice for several days each time. The bottom line is that he is fantastic with dogs and I highly recommend him!! And I am picky! My dogs need to be with someone I like and trust. I have a somewhat older German Shepard rescue who is fearful of some people and things. My second dog is a young I’d say “spirited” Golden Retriever. He gets both of them. My German Shepard likes Richardo and warmed up to him immediately, which means everything. My dogs were clearly happy while I was gone and I could tell also when I came home. For example, this past week the wild fires in Canada affected the area so they had to be inside. He kept them busy with toys, etc. He communicates well too, which is important to all of us. I highly recommend Richardo!
Chloe watched my 2 senior dogs for me over a long weekend and we had a wonderful experience! Chloe is responsible, smart, caring, and responsive. She let us know everything was good at home so I could enjoy my weekend away and I did not have to worry. I would definitely recommend Chloe to my friends and family!
She did an excellent job. The house was clean and everything was put back properly. I think Doc had a good time. He seemed happy to see us, but he was doing well. We really appreciate the job that she did. We were away for two weeks and had a very nice vacation. She sent us pictures. We will definitely use her again.

Once again, my pups were lucky enough to have Alicia stay with them! I always love the pictures, videos and updates. Every time she sends a video, the tails are wagging, so I know they enjoy having her there. Really gives me piece of mind to know they are so well cared for!

Annie was terrific with our attention-seeking, energetic, and noisy Doberman. She stayed at our house for several days while we were away and took wonderful care of him. Annie sent regular updates and photos, which gave us great peace of mind and made it easy to relax knowing everything at home was going well. From what we can tell, our pup may have been even better behaved for Annie than he is for us. 🤣 From the house-sitting perspective, everything was perfect when we returned. Despite rainy weather (and plenty of muddy paws), the house was spotless. We highly recommend Annie and look forward to having her watch our Dobie again.

Paige is the BEST! Our dog isn’t the easiest pup, but she handles him with total ease. She’s introduced fun games that keep him occupied and mentally challenged, which has made such a difference. Paige sends several updates each day (with photos!), and we always come home to a house that’s in great shape. We wholeheartedly recommend her to care for your furry kids while you’re away!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Woodcock Farm walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Woodcock Farm maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Woodcock Farm choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
