I highly recommend Leigh. She took amazing care of my elderly dog. Leigh sends a lot pictures to see your animals day. She left the house near and tidy, she even took my garbage out to the curb without me asking. She is wonderful!

All I can say is thank you! Angela came in and saved us last minute when we were in need of a sitter for our little man. This would have been our second time ever leaving him alone with someone else and we’re scared. However, Angela took care of him as if he was her own. Don’t second guess it and definitely get her assistance! Thank you so much Angela!!

Casie and her husband Karim were a huge help in taking care of my Benny. He is a senior dog and has many medications and can no longer go up stairs. She was very willing to administer all his meds and her husband Karim slept downstairs on the sofa so that Benny would not have to be alone at night. I also love that Casie is home full time. Great communication and sent lots of videos!

Roxanne was amazing! She is reliable, caring, and incredibly easy to work with. Our older dog has GI issues and can be very finicky, so it’s never easy for us to leave her, but Roxanne took wonderful care of her and made us feel completely at ease. She also did a great job caring for our two cats. Roxanne sent twice-daily updates with photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was also very flexible when scheduling our meet and greet, especially when we had to adjust due to some medical issues with our dog. This was easily the smoothest experience we’ve had leaving our pets. If she’s available the next time we go away, we will absolutely book with Roxanne again. Highly recommend! 🐾

She played with him and took him for a walk even though it was cold and windy. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her!

My dogs love her and we are so appreciative of her taking care of them with great care. I will be using Daisy in the future and highly recommend her. Maria B

I cannot recommend Catherine enough! As someone using the Rover app for the first time, I was a bit nervous about leaving my two pups, but Catherine made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. She kept me updated and put my mind completely at ease while I was away. What truly sets Catherine apart is how she goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care. One of my dogs requires daily medication, and Catherine handled it with such diligence and patience, ensuring she never missed a dose. It is such a relief knowing my pets were in such capable, loving hands. She is wonderful with both of them, and I’m so grateful I found her!

Mary was spectacular while sitting for our dog, Holly, overnight in our home while we were away. It was a short trip but she kept us updated constantly with photos and messages detailing how much she ate, her activity level, mood, and bathroom activity. Mary was punctual, so polite and pleasant to speak with, and extremely professional. You can tell she takes her job caring for animals very seriously. I would 100% recommend Mary and definitely plan to book with her again the next time we’re away.

About: I have had dogs and all sorts of pets in my house my whole life. I have experience with dogs of all types and ages from training puppies only a couple months old to caring for very old dogs. I constantly take care of neighbors and friends dogs when they’re away and I can’t wait to love on yours as well. 💗 I am a rising senior student-athlete at WCU and have a good amount of during the day most days to walk dogs as well as plenty of time most weekends to dog sit/house sit. I always keep on eye on the pet and in the same room as me if dog/housesitting. I give them plenty of love and attention and let them out and for walks whenever needed and instructed. I will love each and every pet I work with as my own!

Kathy knows dogs and people. She is easy to work with and put our family at ease about leaving. We recently got our dog as a rescue, and she's very nervous around new people, so I was worried about leaving her for a week. But Kathy spent an hour walking her and getting to know her once a week for the three weeks prior to her stay so that our dog would be comfortable. She clearly loves dogs and was dedicated to being here all day with the dog while we were away (not in an out for other work or errands etc). She took our dog out for multiple walks each day and played with her in the yard. She seny us twice a day pictures and updates. To top it off, our house was spotless when we returned (cleaner than we left it!).

About: I’ve had cats and dogs since I was 5. Golden retriever, beagle and many, many kitties! I have also fostered cats! I’ve had bunnies as well. I love to pet sit. I’m currently a college senior with a very open schedule. I work a part time job at a bakery Tues Thurs and Saturday! I only have classes during the mornings and I’m very flexible. My priority is making your baby feel safe and comfortable! Whatever that takes I will do to insure your pet is happy. Happy to take advice or instruction from owners prior to the sit!

Noelle was fantastic with my shy/anxious buddy. She sent me pictures throughout - mostly of her rubbing his belly or playing in the backyard- He warmed up to her almost immediately. A rare occurrence! Noelle was a great communicator, reliable, and responsible. And, she obviously loves dogs. Five star!

I have no words to describe how happy I am with Heather! Gracie is a large energetic puppy and seemed to take to Heather right away! Heather kept me updated on all the exercise Gracie got as well as all the snuggle time. Gracie was a happy puppy when I got home and my house was immaculate! I will absolutely be asking for Heather again!

She did an excellent job. The house was clean and everything was put back properly. I think Doc had a good time. He seemed happy to see us, but he was doing well. We really appreciate the job that she did. We were away for two weeks and had a very nice vacation. She sent us pictures. We will definitely use her again.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Wyllpen Farms on Rover is $38.85 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 5,412 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Wyllpen Farms. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wyllpen Farms walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wyllpen Farms maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wyllpen Farms choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wyllpen Farms. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
