“Stephanie is fantastic! Riley had such a good day. I was a little nervous as we haven't had Riley for very long and so doggy day care is new for us. Stephanie and her pups made for a great day!”

“We had a great experience with Mili, she was super communicative throughout our pup’s stay and sent us regular updates and cute pictures, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear she really cares about pets. Highly recommend!”

“Colleen was great with Dude and handled his separation anxiety so well. She took him for walks and stayed in contact with us with texts and photos. We will definitely ask her to care for him again!”

“Oli always has the best time with Katie! They go out on adventures to the park and to the beach, 2 to 3 walks a day, and they also snuggle on the couch. At the end of the day we have a happy and relaxed dog, as well as lots of pictures and a summary of all the fun they had. We couldn’t be more pleased with the care our Oli receives from Katie!”

“Natalie did a great job with our two little dogs. Her little girl seemed so excited to have them as quests. I was worry our one dog that gets separation anxiety would be a wreck when we got back, but to our surprise she seemed happy and fine. Our other dog who is very friendly was all smiles when he came back. She will do a great job with your pups.”

“Janice was FANTASTIC! Our little Matese Terrier Mix dog, Buddy had such a good time there. She obviously really loves dogs and takes very good care of them. We are very impressed with her care for him & the other dogs there. We will definitely use her services again when we need it.”

“Our dog had a great time. Kady is a great Rover!”

“Rachel is a FANTASTIC soul! My dog immediately felt her loving energy! He will tremble and bolt if he is not feeling comfortable. He is 13 years old and has a tumor; she was very attentive and patient with him. I will definitely entrust my Teddy to her in the future. Thank you Rachel!!!”

“We left our golden doodle with Leslie and Seamus while we toured Hearst Castle. They were great and our dog, Boffo, had a great time with them and their dog. Seamus and Leslie took him for a nice walk on the beach, fed him from their own stash of food as we had mistakenly left ours, and sent lots of photos showing him looking very happy and content. They seemed to be dog people through and through! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for doggie day care.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my entire life and have three of my own. My two kitties and dog are all rescues that rule my life. I’m excited to become friends with your pets!! I work from home and set my own hours so my schedule is very flexible. I’m happy to take same day bookings, especially if you’re close in location. We have three pets at home so please only request boarding if your pet is dog and cat friendly. My husband and I work from home so they would get plenty of attention :)

“Darby took excellent care of my 2 dogs and sent cute photos and updates! I was very satisfied with my first Rover experience! Thank you!”

About: As a Dog Behavior Therapist I have treated and trained dozens of pets and service dogs. I have been caring for animals and providing positive reinforcement and love to dogs and cats since I could walk. My first love was my Saint Bernard, who I taught to give me rides around the neighborhood. During my time as a home health nurse I also cared for many senior, disabled, troubled, blind, and injection dependant dogs. As an extremely active person, I enjoy treating dogs to quality time in the great outdoors, while working on their skills as good doggy citizens. In my opinion pets and verbal praise are even more important than treats for positive reinforcement, so my furry friends always get lots of affection when they’re in my care. I work with a very flexible schedule, so often have availability during the days for short and long adventures. I have lived and served this community for a decade, and now enjoy walking my furry friends in the parks and open spaces, or taking a drive in my SUV (with ramp for senior/disabled dogs) to the local dog parks and beaches. I keep an accurate and updated calendar here at Rover. I have a very flexible schedule, so usually have availability during the days for short and long adventures, or to check in on dog and cat friends. I have a doggy play space and open space for long walks and fun dog activities. Dogs are always supervised and updates sent to owner/s with photos and locations so you can feel secure in knowing where and what your beloved companion is doing to enjoy themselves.

“Joan was a compassionate, patient and gracious caretaker for our dog Ollie. It was Ollie's first time with a dog sitter and she took very good care of him. We will definitely bring Ollie back when we travel to the Central Coast area. We highly recommend Joan!”

“Brett watched our pooch for a few hours while my family and I attended a nearby event. He's very friendly, easy to communicate with, quick with responses and very flexible. Thanks for putting up with Mochi's separation anxiety whining.”

About: I am a 67 year old retired woman. I have been a animal lover my entire life (dogs, cats, and birds) all of whom were an integral part of raising my family. Animals have always been my second love ( first are my two boys😊) and I am excited to meet your fur baby. I only take care of one doggie at a time but will consider more if from the same family. I currently have no other pets. My last two dogs were a Rottweiler and a Shih Tzu. My own Shih Tzu Butch, lived to be 14 years old and was hard of hearing and struggled with poor eye sight. My heart broke when he passed. Additionally I cared for my parent's aging Shih Tzu and on occasion my sister’s Labrador, both requiring a strict oral medication regime. I will consider short notice stays... I live in one story 1,300 square foot home in a park like setting with ample dog walking opportunities in a safe, quiet neighborhood. I am retired and will devote my days to spoiling your little family member. Your doggie will join me wherever he or she is comfortable; on the couch, on their cozy dog bed, or sleep with me at night. I will not take them in my car when it is hot but will never leave them alone at home for longer than a quick errand. Pee breaks and walks are offered based on your instructions and your pups’ needs. I will consider more than one pup at a time if they are in the same family.

“Jastine and her husband took great care of our young dog for the day. She provided consistent photos and updates and kept our pup very happy! We would gladly use their services again next time we visit Paso Robles.”

“All I can say is WOW! This was my first time using Rover and it was absolutely incredible. I expect this was a rare Rover experience - because we seriously could not have asked for more. My girlfriend and I were in town for a weekend getaway and wanted to check out some non dog-friendly wineries during the afternoon/evening on a Saturday. We saw Amanda's listing and crossed our fingers with our last minute Friday night booking. Amanda responded within the hour letting us know she would be happy to watch over him for the day. Her communication was professional and her availability flexible. Let me tell you... Amanda's place is an absolute wonderland for an adventure dog. She has a ton of property for your dog to run around on ... and animals galore! Our husky (Myth) got to meet horses, donkeys, ostriches, cats, chickens ... and more! This was an amazing experience for him (as a city dog that only gets to play with other dogs at the dog park). I can't imagine another scenario where he would have got to interact and play with such a diverse array of animals. Amanda clearly knows how to handle animals as well. She briefed us on her background training and handling all sorts of different animals and then backed it up with hourly videos showing us a new trick she had taught Myth - or a fun picture/video of Myth playing with one of her other animals (shoutout to her new dog Anakin who is an absolute good boy and new best friend of Myth's). She even asked us if it was okay to take Myth to the dog park. Her communication during Myth's stay helped us relax while out and about. She is clearly an animal lover to the core. If I'm being honest I'm pretty sure Myth would have been happy to stay on Amanda's ranch forever. 10/10 experience ... and her rate is super reasonable for the amazing experience your dog is going to get under her care. Thank you Amanda.”

“Allie was wonderful! Our pugs spent 2 days happy days with her and her dogs. Pugs can be difficult, but with her pack and her care, they did very well and returned content and happy. Great job, Allie!”

“Sara took great care of my dog Peaches. She came back happy and tired from a day of play. I would definitely book her again if we lived in town!”

“Keith and Shadow were fantastic hosts for our GSP, Odin! Odin felt at home and played well with Keith's dog, Shadow. We are so appreciative for Keith to take the time to care and play for our energized pup for the day! After lots of play and a walk, Odin was very tired the rest of the night after we picked him up. We definitely would love to have Keith watch Odin again and would highly recommend him to anyone!”
