About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a baby. I've raised and cared for four family dogs over the years: Nala (Black Lab), Holly (Golden Retriever), and my current dogs, Lucy (Golden Retriever) and Millie (Black Goldendoodle). Through caring for my own dogs, as well as dogs for friends and neighbors, I've gained hands-on experience with feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, overnight care, cleaning up accidents, administering oral medications, and keeping dogs on their regular routines. I've cared for dogs of all ages, from young puppies to senior dogs, and have experience with potty training, anxious or shy dogs, high-energy pups, and large breeds. I pride myself on being dependable, patient, active, and incredibly affectionate. I truly love spending time with dogs, and nothing makes me happier than seeing a happy, comfortable pup. My goal is to care for every dog as if they were my own while giving pet parents peace of mind through reliable care, regular updates, and lots of love. I currently have a part time job and am a student at the University of South Florida so I have a pretty open schedule, and plenty of time to play with your pups! I work Tuesdays and Thursday mornings as well as every other weekend right now :) During every drop-in visit, my goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I'll follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks if requested, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I'm happy to administer oral medications, follow special feeding instructions, and care for pets with different energy levels and personalities. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I'll treat them like they're my own. I'll also send regular photo and video updates so you can see how they're doing and have peace of mind while you're away. I want every visit to be a positive, stress-free experience for both you and your pet.

“Amanda is our go-to every time we leave for vacation! She is absolutely reliable every time. Even when needed last minute, she’s always willing to extend her help. Not to mention she takes the best photos of our 2 cats :)”

“Arianne was great. She was doing drop in visits to medicate my cat while I was out of town. My friend I share a home with is elderly and I didn't want to try to do the medication. Arianne was prompt, followed our instructions so the cat could be confined upon her arrival and took time after to say hello to our dogs, including a grumpy old Chihuahua. I definitely plan on using her for future trips.”

“2nd time working with Tina and another great experience. Tina provides detailed notes after each visit and good communication to address items as needed.”

“Katie took incredible care of our Olive! She was kind, attentive, and patient, and kept us updated with great communication while we were out of town. Receiving regular updates and photos of our girl gave us so much peace of mind. We would absolutely recommend Katie and would gladly use her again!”

About: I have had all types of animals my life including: dogs, turtles, pig, ducks, bearded dragons and cats. I love fur babies! We have had family dogs from puppies to seniors and am comfortable around big dogs! I currently am a full time student and love to spend time outside soaking up the FL sun! I enjoy outdoor activities including running, camping, the beach and nature preserves. Caring for pets requires a lot of patience and attention to detail. Willingness to give your undivided attention is a must and understanding not only of the animal itself, but of the owner/ animal relationship to be able to maintain proper upkeep of pets.
“AJ was very kind to accommodate a same day request. He is communicative, punctual, and took the time to write a thorough report card with lots of pictures. Thank you for taking such great care of our pup!”

I work fully remote so will always be around to give you pet attention and I have a very dog friendly Corgi of my own to help keep you pet entertained! I work from home so I will be able to keep an eye on your pet at all times. I have a pet corgi that will keep your pet company but I can keep them in separate rooms if your pet prefers to be alone I live in a fenced in apartment complex adjacent to lenox park so I am able to exercise your dog or keep them safe inside.
“Sophia is so wonderful! She is professional, kind, and was very attentive with my puppy. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for quality pet care!”

About: Hi all! Thank you so much for considering me for your services or upcoming trip. I have been working with dogs and house sitting them for almost 10 years. With my job, I have some flexibility and I'm looking to take care of about some amazing dogs around our community. I promise you that your dog will be well taken care of and enjoy lots treats and fun! I currently work Monday through Friday during business hours, however, I have lots of flexibility in my work and I would love to be available to take care of your furry child. I currently live in an apartment and I clean it daily to prevent hair buildup from around the apartment. I wipe and mop daily, and I run a robot vacuum to assist with those abilities. I believe if you have a clean home that you have a clean and well organized life in my apartment is no otherwise. My promise to you is to clean your house daily and make sure that it is even better than when you left.
“This was my first time using Rover and Sahily was amazing. My cat is definitely my fur child so I was worried about her being by herself while I was on vacation, but Sahily helped me feel much more comfortable about it. She sent me pictures and updates everyday, and took time to play with Maui and give her treats. I’m so thankful for her!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little girl, and we got our first cat just a few years ago but they’ve seem to have fallen in love with me lol. My main concern is making sure your pet is happy and comfortable, doesn’t matter the situation. I’m very gentle with them and I always make sure to communicate or ask when necessary, I don’t want to assume and be wrong or not inform you if something happens. I am in college, I have classes 3 days a week, so I’m home quite a bit. I do not currently work so I’m typically free the remaining days. I volunteer/workout in my free time so I can be flexible! Just ask if a day/time works, I’ll do my best to accommodate! I’m in an apartment so I don’t have a lot of space inside. The complex does have a little fenced in dog area, and there are some dog parks in the area that I would be willing to go to if you have a more active pet. I don’t have anything toxic in the apartment, or in a place they could reach at least (medicines/rubbing alcohol, that sort of stuff). I also like going on longer walks, 20-30 min if the weather is nice.
“Carley came right on time and followed the directions we had for Peenut. She hung out and played with him for the full time slot and he was safely back in his pen when we arrived home. I REALLY appreciate Carley being available on a holiday!!! Thanks so much for helping us out!!”

About: I have had a dog since before I can remember, and my mom has since upgraded to being in a two puppy household! I love all dogs, and especially love the big ones! I am a writer, working when and where I am able! My schedule is open to odd jobs and- of course- hanging out and caring for pets. I am very familiar with puppies, as my friend, as well as my sister, adopted their puppies, Hank and Willow, around the same time. My parents and aunts have older dogs, and I grew up with a Black Lab. Please know that I love all dogs and I will treat them all as I do my families'.
“Super easy going and easy to talk too, Our dog Remy loved her from the jump. She left Remy a stocking full of toys and treats for when we got back super sweet and thoughtful AND she fixed our dog food storage issue with a new dog food container, Kathryn is the bomb and we cannot recommend her enough!”

About: I’ve had a love for animals as far as my memory goes! I’ve gotten lucky enough to raise and care for just about every household animal you can think of. I had the pleasure of caring for my elderly childhood blue nose pit which has shaped my experience. From providing medicine to assisting with stairs, getting into cars, ETC. I love to cuddle with couch potatoes but also am very active and enjoy playtime! I work in office 8-5 Mon-Thurs and work from home on Fridays. I’ll be available anytime after 5 Mon-Thurs and can provide full time care from Thursday night to Sunday night! As a dedicated pet sitter, my primary focus is ensuring safety and trust for both you and your fur babies. I bring a blend of experience and passion to every pet care assignment. My approach is centered on maintaining a secure and comfortable environment in your home, tailored to your specific pet’s needs! I prioritize clear communication and will provide regular updates and photo check-ins so you can feel confident and connected when away.

I highly recommend Kailia! She went above and beyond during every visit with our sweet senior girl. Marley absolutely loved seeing her, and it was clear from the very beginning that Kailia genuinely loves animals. She kept us updated with detailed visit summaries and plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Knowing Marley was receiving such loving, attentive care meant the world to us. We are so grateful for Kailia and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like family, she’s the one!

I have to say that is the first time I use this app since I usually take my fur baby to a boarding hotel, but I have to say that Moli was AMAZING!!!! You can see that she loves animals and Max fell in love with her and looked so happy and comfortable in the pictures she sent me. If you need someone to take care of your baby while you are away she should be your go to sitter. Thank you again Moli, hope we’ll get another opportunity in the future for you to be close and able to take care of my baby again. Thank you! ♥️🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
