About: I grew up around dogs and have always been involved in helping care for them, so being around pets has felt natural for as long as I can remember. Now that I’m away at college, I really miss having dogs around and would love the opportunity to spend time caring for yours! Although at home I’ve mostly had small to medium-sized dogs, I also pet and house sit for a family friend with a Great Dane, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of a wide variety of sizes and personalities. I understand the importance of patience, attention, playtime, and sticking to routines. Since I currently take online classes, I have a very flexible schedule and can be available throughout the day to give your pet plenty of care and attention. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! 🐾 I’m a college student near USF with a very flexible schedule due to online classes. I live near campus but also work near Bayshore, so I’m able to cover a wide area. I’m reliable, responsive, and can adjust my availability easily throughout the day for pet care needs. I always want to prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine, making sure they’re supervised, cared for, and given plenty of attention and affection. My apartment complex also has a gated pet park, giving dogs a safe space for exercise and play if needed. Back home in Jacksonville, I have four dogs, so I’m very familiar with daily care, different personalities, and varying energy levels. I also volunteered with the Humane Society’s Doggy Day Out program, where I gained experience handling and caring for dogs of different temperaments while ensuring they felt safe and well looked after. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care and peace of mind while you’re away, and to treat your dogs the same way I would want mine cared for.
“AJ is like a cat whisperer! He is compassionate, professional, and highly communicative with all creatures of our home. We are always comforted in travel knowing we can safely and reliably leave our kitties and their medication needs in AJ’s care.”

About: I’ve had been around and help taken care of many dogs since I was 11. I have a passion for animals which led me to volunteering at pet shelters. I like to help humane society any spare weekends I have. I’m a full time student, while I will have to go to school everyday of the week it’s only 2-4hrs out of my day. That leaves me with the rest to play and take care of your pet. I stay in dorms so I will not be able to take care of animals within my own home. Though I have a SUV so I would be able to take pets anywhere they need.

“Marcus was great! He does great with teddy who can be a handful, is always communicative and sends lots of pictures and videos. He was even able to accommodate my last minute trip for the holiday with no problem! Have booked him before and will definitely be booking him again!”

“Estefany is such a great care taker for Ellie. She is so kind, communicates well and often and genuinely cares for our pet. I highly recommend her to anyone who is willing to give her an opportunity to care for your pet.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little girl, and we got our first cat just a few years ago but they’ve seem to have fallen in love with me lol. My main concern is making sure your pet is happy and comfortable, doesn’t matter the situation. I’m very gentle with them and I always make sure to communicate or ask when necessary, I don’t want to assume and be wrong or not inform you if something happens. I am in college, I have classes 3 days a week, so I’m home quite a bit. I do not currently work so I’m typically free the remaining days. I volunteer/workout in my free time so I can be flexible! Just ask if a day/time works, I’ll do my best to accommodate! I’m in an apartment so I don’t have a lot of space inside. The complex does have a little fenced in dog area, and there are some dog parks in the area that I would be willing to go to if you have a more active pet. I don’t have anything toxic in the apartment, or in a place they could reach at least (medicines/rubbing alcohol, that sort of stuff). I also like going on longer walks, 20-30 min if the weather is nice.
“Sophia is so wonderful! She is professional, kind, and was very attentive with my puppy. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for quality pet care!”

“Tina was wonderful. Took good care of my dog and left excellent updates with helpful notes and photos 😊 I felt at ease knowing that my baby was well taken care of”

About: I will take the best care of them like they are my very own. I’m open to all types of breeds and very comfortable with all dogs. I’m very caring and will cater to the needs of any dog. I will take your dog out constantly and play fetch. I’ve taken care of dogs all my life and dog sitted for many people in the past. If you provide me with a list of things your dog likes to do and eat I won’t frame from it. I can fit pet care around my work schedule when it is available for me. I enjoy caring for animal and would be happy to lend a hand when needed. In other homes I’ll treat your home and pet like my own. I’ll make sure to follow your pets schedule and any other instructions given.

“As always, Emma was fantastic with my girls. She went above and beyond when Snap and Pompom broke something (100% my fault) and made sure it was well cleaned so they wouldn't get glass in their paws.”

About: I have always been around dogs from Yorkies to huskies for almost all my life. In high school I was in the Veterinary Assistant program which gave me the certification of working as a vet assistant. I passed the CVA (certification veterinary assistant) exam and I have volunteered at a vet clinic, so I know the check ups, grooming and majority of some health problems. On top of certification training I also work a dog daycare and hotel where I take care of dogs and provide meal prep as well, where I also know how monitor any suspicious behavior and assess said behavior. Pet care fits in my schedule daily from Sunday to Saturday. I have open schedule with what time works best for you, you can count on me. I care for pets by feeding them on their feeding schedule, taking them out on multiple walks long or short depending on the dog and playing with them to get their energy to use.
About: My first puppy popped up right underneath my Christmas Tree as a little 4 year old girl, and I’ve loved animals ever since. I love learning about animal behaviors and how they work, and it’s allowed me to better care for the animals around me making sure they are safe, comfortable, and that they thrive. I’m a current student at USF and I have classes during the afternoons and mornings, but after 4pm on the weekdays I’m free for dog walking and watching! For house sitting I’d be available on weekends and Fridays, so you can have a nice weekend getaway worry free! I take pet care very seriously in that I’ll make sure your animals are properly fed, groomed, walked, or whatever other service you request to high standards! I will happily abide by any special dietary needs of pets, and crate pets if needed. A family member of mine has 3 large dogs with specific needs and a knack for escaping, and I’ve house sit for them more time than I can count without issue.

I have to say that is the first time I use this app since I usually take my fur baby to a boarding hotel, but I have to say that Moli was AMAZING!!!! You can see that she loves animals and Max fell in love with her and looked so happy and comfortable in the pictures she sent me. If you need someone to take care of your baby while you are away she should be your go to sitter. Thank you again Moli, hope we’ll get another opportunity in the future for you to be close and able to take care of my baby again. Thank you! ♥️🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Temple Terrace with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
