About: I have had so many opportunities to take care of fur babies throughout my life! I lived in a farm for most of it but as an adult I have had my dog all through college up until now. I intentionally keep my schedule flexible so I can give each pet the attention they need. I enjoy spending time outdoors and love making sure every fur baby gets plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection. I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I do my best to keep that routine consistent while you're away. During visits, I'll provide fresh food and water, take your pet on walks or let them out for potty breaks, play with them, give them plenty of love and attention, and clean up after them as needed. I'll also make sure your home is respected and secure by following any instructions you leave. My goal is to help your fur baby feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in the place they know best.
About: Hi! I have taken care of pets since I was ten. I have had my own dogs my whole life so I am well experienced. I am studying in college right now but I have free time during the week so it fits into my schedule. I am an early riser and can stay up late if I need to check in! I make sure the pet is comfortable with me always and not butting in their space! I wanna make them feel as welcome as possible with me!
About: Throughout my entire life I’ve taken care of all types of animals big and small, from neighbors Great Danes to family rabbits, I’m able to handle animals of all shapes and sizes and look forward to meeting your pet no matter the animal! ♡ I do work part time at Outback Steakhouse and also do pet care to help pay for all of my bills due to this I’m more busy on the weekends and tend to struggle booking around then but I will do my best to accommodate and be flexible for your fur and furless babies!!! In the past I have had animals that were both inside and outside as well as animals who were muzzle, and crate trained meaning I have experience handling both as well as experience walking a variety of dogs. Currently I live with my cat Nugget who I handle all daily care for!

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little girl, and we got our first cat just a few years ago but they’ve seem to have fallen in love with me lol. My main concern is making sure your pet is happy and comfortable, doesn’t matter the situation. I’m very gentle with them and I always make sure to communicate or ask when necessary, I don’t want to assume and be wrong or not inform you if something happens. **Please do not book boarding for the weekend if your pet cannot handle being alone for 12-13 hours (in regards to going to the bathroom), as I work every weekend** I am in college and I work full time. I typically work 3-12 hour shifts a week, but my class schedule is more flexible. Please just ask if a date/time works and I will let you know! I’m in an apartment so I don’t have a lot of space inside. The complex does have a little fenced in dog area, and there are some dog parks in the area that I would be willing to go to if you have a more active pet. I don’t have anything toxic in the apartment, or in a place they could reach at least (medicines/rubbing alcohol, that sort of stuff). I also like going on longer walks, 20-30 min if the weather is nice.
About: I do not work. I am home all the time with nothing to do, and for my love of animals I do this just for fun! I like to try out different games with dogs. I love to cuddle up with them to give them that extra love. I have LOTS of patience with them. I like to make sure they feel loved and definetely cared about! I treat dogs and other animals the same as I want to be treated nothing less! I believe that if everyone treated animals/pets as they wpuld want to be treated, that the world would be a much much better place for us all! Moral being, I one hundred percent love animals and love caring for them all. I am a stay at home mom. Home all day. I do not work so my schedule is always open! I can accommodate any special requests. I do have a fenced yard! I have lots of energy so they’ll keep busy. I can also crate your baby if need be 😇.
About: I have constantly been around dogs my whole life, socializing and training them. We’ve always had a lot of animals in my family all around, chickens, cats, dogs, and pig was in the mix at one point! I have volunteered with many rescues and have attended training classes with multiple different dogs. I have learned how to adapt to all types of dog behavior and am always open to doing a meet and greet before! I currently have a very flexible schedule so it’s just whenever needed! I just have my own dog that usually takes about 5-6 walks a day and 2 trails a week. I have a fenced in yard with a good amount of room to run. I do not let one of my dogs out there though because it is only four feet. Instead, I take her on trails about 2-3 times a week so she gets about 7-8 miles in a week.
“Michelle did a great job with Nikki, playing with her and greeting her right away and really persisting on engaging Nikki. Nikki had a great time with her. Thanks, Michelle!”

About: I've been caring for animals my entire life, as I wanted to be a veterinarian growing up. I have 5 years of professional pet sitting experience and am skilled in puppy training basics (housebreaking, crate training, basic commands). I love working with shy or fearful pets and have endless patience helping them come out of their shells. My clients say I have a natural gift for reading animal body language and making pets feel safe and loved. I work part-time as a court reporter, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to care for your pets. I can accommodate morning, midday, evening, or overnight visits, whatever works best for your pet's routine. My remote work setup means I'm often home and can provide extended visit times or last-minute care when you need it. I'm also available on weekends and holidays when finding reliable care can be challenging. I offer flexible care options depending on your pet's needs and your preferences. Whether visiting once daily or staying overnight, I prioritize your cat's comfort by maintaining their exact routine in the familiar environment of your home. I'm conscientious about home security, keeping doors locked, preventing escapes, and never advertising my or your absence. I'm also respectful of your space, keeping everything clean and following any household guidelines you provide. Daily updates with photos give you peace of mind while you're away.
About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, and pet care runs in my family — my daughter runs her own dog walking business, and I bake homemade dog treats, so animals are part of my everyday life. My background is in healthcare, which shapes how I care for pets. I’m comfortable with medication schedules, senior dogs, post-surgical care, and mobility issues, and I notice small changes in behavior or appetite early. I’m patient with anxious dogs and consistent with routines, because a dog does best when their normal schedule is kept. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and I send photo updates so you always know how your dog is doing. Your pet gets attention, structure, and affection while you’re away — and comes home happy. My work schedule varies week to week, so I keep my Rover calendar updated with my true availability and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. I’m often home during the day, which means frequent walks, playtime, and consistent feeding and potty breaks rather than a dog being left alone for long stretches. I’m happy to follow whatever routine your dog already knows. My home is a quiet home where a visiting dog gets calm, close attention. I dog-proof before every stay — securing trash, cords, medications, and anything chewable — and I keep dogs leashed for all outdoor time since I don’t have a fenced yard. I’m comfortable crating if that’s your dog’s normal routine, and I never leave a new dog unsupervised with unfamiliar spaces. In your home, I follow your instructions exactly, lock up when I leave, and send photo updates at every visit.
“Thx for dropping in on our pups. I’m actually shocked how much they both immediately took to you. They haven’t stopped barking about you since you left. We will reach out next time we need them looked after.”

About: I have been a pet parent for many years and understand that every pet is unique. I currently share my home with two Huskies and four cats ranging in age from 3 to 20 years old, giving me experience caring for pets at every stage of life. One of my greatest joys has been caring for senior pets and learning their individual routines, personalities, and needs. I understand that older pets often require extra patience, attention, and gentle care. I also have experience with energetic dogs, independent cats, and the many different personalities that make our pets so special. I treat every animal as an individual and will provide the same loving, dependable care that I would want for my own pets. I work from home and have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care for your pets. I am able to offer drop-in visits, dog walks, and house sitting while making sure each pet receives individual attention and care. I enjoy incorporating pet care into my routine and taking the time to provide more than just the basics—making sure pets feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while their families are away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand that inviting someone into your home to care for your pets is a big responsibility, and I will treat both your pets and your home with respect. During visits, I will follow your instructions carefully, maintain your pet’s normal routines, provide meals, fresh water, exercise, playtime, litter box care, and any needed medications. I will pay attention to your pet’s behavior and communicate with you through updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I believe pets are family, and I will care for yours with the same patience, kindness, and attention I give my own.

“Sydney was absolutely amazing with my two cats this past weekend! From the moment we booked, she was communicative, professional, and clearly a true animal lover. She provided regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. One of my cats is very shy and usually keeps to herself, while the other is super lovable and craves attention. Sydney was great with both—patient and gentle with my shy cat, and affectionate and engaging with my social one. I highly recommend Sydney to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable cat sitter. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

About: As a pet-parent to two kitties, I understand the stress it is to find someone trustworthy of taking care of your pets. I have been a reliable pet-sitter since I was 15 and send photo updates daily. I have experience in all sizes, ages and breed for either cats or dogs. I frequently take care of my friends' and relatives' pets when they are out of town. I work part time so I have a lot of flexibility. I am currently working part-time and can commute anywhere within the Tampa/Brandon area. I believe pet care is a top priority for all pet parents and I am dedicated to making it mine as well. Currently, I own two kittens who are my best friends. I found them on the street when they were 2 months and have nursed them to health since then and now they are hyper, happy cats. Therefore, I have experience in giving them all forms of medicine if needed.
About: I have had pets my whole life. I am a special needs momma and love to love on fur babies. I have experience with a wide variety of pets and breeds. I am retired from church ministry and now work as a part-time preschool teacher. My schedule is very flexible as I only work until 12:30 pm Monday through Friday. I can care for your pets at your home to keep them from the stress of a kennel and keep them comfortable in their own environment.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
