“We had a wonderful experience!! From the start, she was professional, reliable, and clearly cared about our dog's well-being. She kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our dogs were happy, well cared for, and comfortable throughout the stay. It was obvious that they received plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. We truly appreciated the sitter's attention to detail and willingness to follow our dog's routine and special instructions. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.”

About: I've owned and taken care of pets of all kinds for 50 years. I'm easy going and will love your babies as my own. I have 2 sons, 4 grandkids, 2 dogs, and 1 parrot! I'm currently a retired, trustworthy grandma with wide availability. I like to stay busy, so I've been house and pet sitting through word of mouth for friends and family for years. I love animals so this has been a great fit for my post-retirement (42years) from the Hillsborough county school system. I am available on short notice 7 days a week. I'm happy to help keep your fur babies routine and make them as comfortable and safe as possible. I'm comfortable giving medication, walks, and plenty of play time.
“Sindri quickly gained rapport with my 5 month old puppy and she has great ideas and even brought him a toy on their first meet and greet. She is great with communicating updates or any concerns. I will continue using her and my German Shepherd really enjoys her company.”

About: I have constantly been around dogs my whole life, socializing and training them. We’ve always had a lot of animals in my family all around, chickens, cats, dogs, and pig was in the mix at one point! I have volunteered with many rescues and have attended training classes with multiple different dogs. I have learned how to adapt to all types of dog behavior and am always open to doing a meet and greet before! I currently have a very flexible schedule so it’s just whenever needed! I just have my own dog that usually takes about 5-6 walks a day and 2 trails a week. I have a fenced in yard with a good amount of room to run. I do not let one of my dogs out there though because it is only four feet. Instead, I take her on trails about 2-3 times a week so she gets about 7-8 miles in a week.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of care, attention, and love I give to every pet. I understand that pets are family, and I treat them as if they were my own while they’re in my care. I am dependable, patient, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I also believe in clear communication, so pet parents can have peace of mind knowing their furry family member is happy and well cared for while they’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work remotely from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Since I work from my laptop, I have a flexible schedule and can provide care from your home, make drop-in visits, or spend quality time with your pets throughout the day. I enjoy staying active, so walks and playtime are something I genuinely look forward to. My only regular commitments are church on Sunday mornings and ministry on Tuesday evenings, but outside of those times, I have a flexible schedule and can work with a variety of pet care needs. My goal is to make sure your pets feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their environment. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any specific instructions provided. I also make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and companionship while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs, so I take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel comfortable around me. Whether they enjoy being active, playing, going for walks, or simply relaxing and cuddling, I adjust my care to what makes them happiest. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.
“Alex is wonderful! She was quick to communicate and quickly adjusted to a last minute change in our schedule. She provided pictures of my cats as requested and kept me informed! This is definitely the person to care for your pets!”

I have two fenced in large patio’s, plus I live in an area with plenty of grass to run around. I’m also not too far from a dog park if your pet allows for that. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dover
We booked Ally through the Rover app to watch our little Yorkie, Bleu, for five days while we went on a cruise, and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. The booking process through Rover was incredibly easy, but I was still nervous about having someone coming in and out of our home while we were away. From the very beginning, Ally made me feel completely comfortable and reassured. She answered every single question I had and never made me feel like I was asking too much. In fact, she went above and beyond to assure me that all of my concerns were completely valid. That level of care and understanding meant so much to me. Most importantly, Bleu absolutely loved her! Ally took amazing care of him and went above and beyond not only with him, but also with keeping our home safe while we were gone. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was being cared for by someone so attentive, responsible, and genuinely caring. I will absolutely continue booking with Ally in the future, and I’m so grateful we found someone who cares for Bleu as much as we do. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
