“Once again my Cane Corso had an amazing day at doggie daycare with Skye!!! She takes such amazing care of him and I love the pictures she sends me when he does something cute. I dont feel guilty for sending him to daycare because he has so much fun!!!”

“My dog, Harlan, is a rescue we've had for a year. We recently had an event at our house that included over 30 adults and children who he has never met. I decided a pet sitter. Was a good option. Harlan was very nervous when we got to Christopher's house., but Christopher gained his trust quickly. A feat still not accomplished by friends Harlan knows well. Would definitely recommend.”

“I've been using Angie for a while now and couldn't be happier with the care she provides. She regularly sends photo updates, ensuring I always know how my puppy is doing. Communication is quick and efficient, and she's incredibly friendly and approachable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“I had a great experience with Rebecca. She was very thorough in explaining her process and showing me exactly where my dog would be kept. You could immediately tell she truly cares about dogs and is a genuine dog lover. I felt completely safe and comfortable leaving my dog in her care. Highly recommend!”

“Lina is great with Morgan! He has just started with her and we can tell he likes her. He is happy to see her and her puppies every morning. She reports his daily activities (eating, potty, playtime). She sends photos and videos and texts us updates through out the day. It's great to see how he is doing through the day! When we pick him up he falls asleep in the car on the way home, we know he has had a good day!! We are Very happy with Lina!”
“Alissa was great! (Thank you😉) drop off and pick up were a breeze and Charli was in great spirits upon pick up. Alissa sent pics during the day and I felt at ease seeing she was in good hands. I will definitely book with Alissa again.”

“Just wonderful! Ivy will literally play fetch until she croaks and unfortunately some people find it annoying when she keeps tossing her toys at them, but Stephanie said her kids absolutely loved playing fetch with her 🩷 when I picked her up, she fell asleep in the car on our 15 minute drive home which means she got all of her energy out which I’m thankful for! Will schedule again in the future 🥰”

About: Hi there! I’m Carisa, professional belly-rub enthusiast and treat dispenser. I am excited to offer buy one get one free service for first time customers. I promise your pet will be very happy you picked me! I’ve had dogs and cats for most of my life and genuinely can’t imagine a world without them. While I don’t currently have any pets of my own, that just means I have extra love, attention, and energy to give yours. I’m an active person who loves walks, hiking, exploring local parks, and spending time outdoors. If your pup enjoys adventure, we’ll be best friends. If your doggo prefers sniffing every blade of grass for 30 minutes straight, I fully support their investigative desires too. I understand that every dog has a unique personality. Some want to play fetch until your arm falls off, some want cuddles and reassurance, and some simply want a reliable human who shows up on time and keeps their routine consistent. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I also know how important communication is, so you can expect lots of updates, photos, and messages. As a stay at home entrepreneur with a flexible schedule, pet care fits naturally into my day. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop ins, house sitting, and pet care on weekdays and weekends. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet because they’re family, not just an animal. My goal is to make your pet feel like they’re hanging out with a friend rather than waiting for their owner to come home. I take safety seriously, follow routines carefully, and provide lots of updates, photos, and communication.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
