When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize following all instructions exactly as given to maintain the pet’s normal routine and comfort. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure before walks and that pets are supervised at all times. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior so I can respond quickly if anything seems off or if they need extra reassurance. I also keep the environment calm, clean, and stress free, and I respect the client’s home by leaving everything as I found it. Communication is important to me, so I provide updates and make sure owners feel confident their pet is safe and well cared for.

Erin is so sweet and was great with our little Posie. You could tell she loves caring for dogs (and any animals for that matter)! She was early and I could always reach her if needed. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I already have consistent experience working around dogs and structured care environments. I’m generally flexible throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends, and I’m comfortable adjusting my schedule based on a pet’s needs. I’m used to early mornings, midday check-ins, and evening care routines from my time working at a doggy daycare, so I’m able to stay consistent with feeding, walks, and medication schedules. I prioritize reliability, so once I commit to a booking, I make sure I’m fully available and on time for every visit.
