About: Hi! I’m Abby, a lifelong animal lover with a special place in my heart for both cats and dogs. I currently share my home with two sweet rescue cats I adopted in 2020. I’ve been around cats and dogs my whole life and understand how unique and particular they can be. In 2024, I spent six months volunteering at a local animal shelter, where I cared for cats of all ages and temperaments. I also have years of experience dog sitting for friends and family, and I grew up with a wonderful family dog who sparked my love for dogs. Whether we’re out for a walk or I’m stopping by to check in, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and well taken care of. I’m available full time and happy to follow your routines, send plenty of photo updates, and keep your pets happy while you’re away. I can’t wait to hear from you! I’m leaving my current job in retail so I’m available full time to take care of your sweet kitty or pup! I’m available for walks, overnights and drop ins. I currently have two sweet cats I rescued in 2020 that are 4 and 5 who are my whole world. I will take care of your kitty/puppers just like they are my own.

“If I could give 6 stars, I would. This was the first time I’ve left our kiddos with someone I didn’t know firsthand and I had a better experience than I’ve had with friends or family! I can’t tell you how nice it was to come home to happy animals and a clean house. She checked in just as much as I asked and was clearly very attentive. I would absolutely recommend Sydney and definitely hope to be able to book her again!”

About: Animals have been a lifelong passion of mine, and that love eventually led me to a career in wildlife biology and conservation. I grew up with both cats and dogs and see them as members of the family! I began caring for family pets at age 8, and pet sat for neighbors, family friends, and clients in High School and college. After college, I worked seasonal field jobs as a wildlife biologist and pet sat in between field seasons. I adopted my dog Abby -- a sweet, social Black Lab Pitt mix -- 11 years ago and trained her using positive reinforcement, play and consistent socialization. While I'm not a certified trainer, I do have some hands-on experience with dog training and behavior support. I've cared for pets of all ages and needs -- from energetic puppies and kittens to senior cats and dogs with mobility issues. I'm also experienced with administering medication (pills, oral syringes, and injections) and have supported post-surgical recovery and physical therapy for dogs recovering from CCL tears and tumor removals (Abby has been through both). I look forward to caring for your cat or dog as if it were my own! I am currently available to pet sit full-time and have a flexible schedule Monday through Sunday. I will update my availability regularly in my profile, to ensure it is up-to-date. Pet parents can text or call me at any time to check-in and I will happily provide text and photo updates. In your home: I will meet your pet where they are at depending on their age, energy levels, comfort and mobility. I will provide them with affection and will encourage them to move their bodies with some play time or a walk. About my home (Doggy Daycare currently paused): I live in a cozy 3-bedroom 1,000 sq ft bungalow on a fully fenced double lot -- perfect for pups to play, explore and relax safely. My neighborhood in Wyandotte has lots of walkable, dog-friendly routes, and we love getting outside. There are lots of durable, safe dog toys on hand (approved by Abby, the Toy Destroyer), as well as extra dog beds and cozy blankets for lounging. I am flexible and happy to make adjustments in my home to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. My husband works from home a few days a week, but will be in his office and will not be assisting with pet care. I will be fully available and present with your pet.

“We hired Lissa to stay with our two dogs and our other small critters while we were gone for a week and she did a wonderful job. Our animals and our house were well taken care of. She sent us updates and pictures of the dogs during our vacation which was great. We would absolutely use Lissa again in the future. ”

“Callie did amazing with my dog. She provided consistent updates and was flexible when our plans changed. When I came home my dog didn't even seem to care that I was gone 😅 I assume because she was cared for so well.”

“Cheyenne provided excellent care for our two cats, bonded with them, and communicated updates & pictures periodically. She is very personable and professional. We will definitely rebook when we need care again!”

“Darriell stayed at my house for 1 week to look after my 85lb pit mix, Judah. Judah needed to be given medication twice a day, have probiotics sprinkled on his food every morning, and is aggressive towards other dogs. Darriell handled EVERYTHING perfectly. She took Judah on 2 walks every day, and had no issue with his meds or probiotics. She kept me up to date every day and went adorable pictures of my fur baby. She was extremely communicative and responsible. If I wasn’t moving to another state, I would DEFINITELY hire Darriell every time I needed a dog sitter. Highly recommend.”

Taylor pet parents share their Rover experiences
We are so thankful Kasey was available to watch our dogs while we were gone. It’s our first time using rover.com and I dint know what to expect. It was a great experience. Our dogs are calm and chill which wouldn’t be the case if we’d kenneled them. Kasey sent us updates regularly and responded quickly to any text. She left the house super clean. We highly recommend hiring her and will do so again if she’s available when we travel again.

I would highly recommend Callie to anyone looking for an in-house sitter. I was a little nervous having someone stay in my home that I never met, but after meeting her, I felt at ease. She was great at communicating and made sure to read through the novel of notes I left her. Everything went seamlessly and she kept me updated with photos throughout the day. My pets were bummed when I came home because they said Callie was loads more fun than I am.

Kristen stayed at our home and took care of our dog Mittsy while we were on vacation for a week. We received updates with photos and videos while we were away which made us feel good, knowing our dog was doing well. Our house was well-cared for also. So grateful for Kristen!

We had such a great experience with Katelyn this weekend! She was kind, professional, and followed our instructions to a T. We really appreciated the consistent updates, pictures, and videos—especially since we requested them. She even asked permission before treating our pup to a pup cup, which showed how thoughtful and respectful she is. Duncan was fed on time, well cared for, and clearly loved her time with Katelyn. You can tell she genuinely enjoys being around animals. We’re so thankful she got to spend the weekend with our sweet girl—and we’d absolutely book her again!

Brianna was great. We left her responsible for our dog, our fish, our plants, the mail etc. She did everything the best possible. She was willing even to do last minute services that were not discussed in advance. She appears mature and responsible despite her young age (20) . We will certainly utilize her services again.

Ciera was amazing! She showed up on time. Asked questions in regards to care, schedule and special instructions. I like the fact that she works at a dog day care. So she's experienced. She left my home tidy and even brought in my packages. I will use her again.
