I own a business that operates in a seasonal fashion. This affords me the opportunity to be available where most aren't. Whether that be for day visits and walks, or night time check ins. My home is great for dogs. My old boy loves company. He's very gentle. I have access to walking trails as well. I am happy to accommodate for kennel trained or non-kennel trained.

About: I have owned or cared for my own dogs my entire life. Having lost my senior 'Stanley' last year I find myself longing for a dog's company and spirit. My own dogs have lived long lives - two for 18 years, one for 17 so I know how to give meds and care for their special needs. Stanley's petsitter recommended I try Rover - so here I am! I can come to your house, or bring your dog here to my 1/2 acre fenced in yard, with a dog door to the house and lots of time to share with your pet. I am retired and in Tallahassee or the vicinity walking or meeting up with friends. I have lots of free time to share with your pet. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard and a dog door to the house. I have a pool. I can come to your house if needed, or care for your dog here.

I live very close to campus, so it’s easy for me to care for your pets. They’ll never be alone for too long. My class schedule is pretty open right now, which means I have ample time to spend with them. They’re part of my daily routine, and since I take a walk every morning, they’ll join in on that too! Plus, I don’t have another job—just Rover and classes. Dogs will be indoors most of the time, but if I’m caring for multiple pets, they’ll never be together unsupervised. Let me know if your dog isn’t good with other dogs—we can arrange private boarding where your pet is the only one. If they enjoy a buddy, I’m happy to accommodate. I love taking them to dog parks, but if they need solo time, we’ll choose a private park where they can safely run.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for family for years now and figured it’s time to branch out the business. I live alone, have a large back yard and a nice park nearby my house. I would pet sit at times when I am available to and take on pets in a manner that makes logistical sense for me and my schedule. I check on them and look for any signs of obvious discomfort or distress. Make sure they have time to use the bathroom/clean litter box and water. Most animals will try and communicate to you what they need, so it’s good to follow the routines they have at home and interpret what they need and at what time.

I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with plenty of safe walking areas and green space nearby for regular walks, exercise, and potty breaks. Since I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised on a leash to ensure your pet is always safe. I carefully follow any instructions provided for feeding schedules, crate use, medications, or anything else. I also fully respect their routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free! From my experience volunteering with disabled dogs and cats, I am patient, attentive, and mindful of each animal’s individual needs. I can also provide updates and photos regularly so parents feel comfortable while they are away.
