“Sarah did a great job caring for Scooter. She is a great communicator and sent lots of pictures. We felt very comfortable leaving Scooter in such good hands. Definitely recommend Sarah and will use in the future.”

About: I taken care of animals all my life. Fishes, guinea pigs, hamsters, bunnies, dogs, and cats! I even volunteered at an animal shelter for a summer and it was such a great experience!! I will treat your baby like it’s my own💕 Majority of my day ends around 3:30 due to classes but other times it ends before that in the afternoon. I am free on the weekends unless I am traveling out of town! I live in a first floor apartment in a gated community. All dogs are safe to walk around the complex as every dog is required to be leashed. I also have a lock to my room incase I do any animal sitting, so no randoms can come into my room nor apartment.
“Lisa was great! My dog Ricky is relaxed and looks like he enjoyed his weekend away. Lisa gave plenty of updates and was easy to communicate with. I would recommend her and will use her again.”

“Collette is all we and (Lucca) hoped for when we selected Collette from Rover. We had clear communications, on-time appointments, daily updates on our dog, and as a bonus, similar senses of humor. Lucca came home to us a happy pup and we did not worry while we were away.”

“Andrea was so wonderful with my pup! She was so responsive and sending constant updates and pictures which was so appreciated. She clearly took great care of my dog and I would 100% leave her with her again!”

“Both of the only pet resorts in Tallahassee were closed when I contacted Diana. She literally saved my weekend plans from crumbling: I needed to take a trip out of town, and the buses don’t allow dogs onboard. Sophia demonstrably enjoyed her stay at Diana’s and got along very well with her friends and her daughter. She was fed well and given plenty of space in the backyard to play. Sophia came home very happy and well fed. I would gladly hire Diana again to take care of Sophia. Five stars!”

About: I have had 3 rescue dogs since the age of 5! Two of my rescue dogs were adopted as puppies and I got to take care of them of them until they were seniors. I have experience with seniors dogs, scared dogs, or dogs that need a little more patience in general. I have pet-sat for friends, family, and others and have provided boarding, walks, love, and belly rubs! I’m an outdoorsy person so if you have a dog that loves playing outside, send them my way! I love going to parks and running around. If that’s not your dog’s vibe, then that’s okay! We can do slow walks (I get it, I also have bad knees). I’m available all week and any time. I just ask that I get notified at least a day ahead of time for anything. I’m not working, so I have plenty of time to play and dedicate to your furry friends 🤗 I live next to many parks and I have a big fenced yard so there is plenty of space to run and play! I don’t have any pets at home, so if you have a dog that doesn’t do well with other pets, then this is the place for them 😊 dogs are allowed on the sofa, but not the bed.

“Our first time using Anna and won't be our last. Our dog seemed to have enjoyed herself and was tuckered out when we picked her up. Anna was very communicative and responsive on our last minute arrangements.”

“Amanda is wonderful! I boarded my pup Cricket with her overnight and she sent plenty of updates and pictures and my Cricket felt right at home and had such a great time. Definitely will be booking with her again in the future!”

“We want to take the time to express our gratitude to Ms. Marissa S. She took excellent care of our girl Oli while we were away. She treated Oli as if one of the family. We received regular updates and pictures giving us a peace of mind. We will definitely be reaching out to her anytime we need help with our dog. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to others.”

About: I have owned or cared for my own dogs my entire life. Having lost my senior 'Stanley' last year I find myself longing for a dog's company and spirit. My own dogs have lived long lives - two for 18 years, one for 17 so I know how to give meds and care for their special needs. Stanley's petsitter recommended I try Rover - so here I am! I can come to your house, or bring your dog here to my 1/2 acre fenced in yard, with a dog door to the house and lots of time to share with your pet. I am retired and in Tallahassee or the vicinity walking or meeting up with friends. I have lots of free time to share with your pet. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard and a dog door to the house. I have a pool. I can come to your house if needed, or care for your dog here.
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities, and I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well-looked after. I have experience house sitting, cleaning up the home before owners return, and sticking to daily routines. After work I would head straight over to let the dogs out, keep them company, and make sure they got plenty of attention. On weekends I enjoyed taking them on long walks around the neighborhood. I’ve also cared for three dogs and two cats at the same time, including baths when needed. On top of that, I’ve raised a rescue kitten from just one week old—bottle feeding every two hours, teaching him to walk, use the litter box, and transition to solid food—so I’m very comfortable with pets who need extra patience or special care. Since I have a flexible work schedule, I am able to plan my days around pet care. I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends for walks, check-ins, or overnight care. I keep pets safe by following your routines closely and maintaining a clean, calm environment. I’m careful with doors, crates, feeding schedules, and any instructions you leave for me.
About: Hi! I'm Charli, and I've been caring for animals in both a professional and personal capacity for several years. I've worked as a bather, groomer, daycare, and veterinary clinic professional for over 5 years, and have experience with all of the following animals: dogs (all sizes), cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, fish, pigs, lizards, birds, & more! I most enjoy house sitting, dog walking, and daytime care, and I am able to travel to the further parts of the Tallahassee metro area upon request. For overnight animal guest needs, I have a home in the Astoria Park area of Tallahassee with a big fenced back yard and 5 animals of my own (2 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 ferret). All of our animals are great with other pets and love to meet new friends. If needed, we can also set up a room your pet can have all to themselves. Pet care is my everyday priority! My fiancée works full time from home, allowing me to devote my time to giving our pets and others' pets the care and attention they need (and deserve). I take pet care very seriously and am very attuned to animals' body language. As a veterinary worker, I have been trained to handle any situation in a calm and collected manner. Additionally, I like to ensure proper nutrition, adequate play time and potty breaks, and down time/quiet time when pets are feeling overwhelmed.
“This is the 3rd time we left Sonny with Ainla (overnight) He’s very comfortable with her and she knows his personality and takes care of him soo well. Highly recommend!”
“Amanda is always great from start to finish! She is so easy to work with and responds quickly to messages. Charlie is well cared for and receives lots of affection. And he loves her sweet, gentle pup. We get several photos and videos every day. She is very understanding about Charlie's idiosyncrasies(he managed to get into her secured garbage can one time). We board Charlie with Amanda everytime we visit Tallahassee.”

“Yara and her family were so friendly and Oreo fit in well with her crew. She sent pics throughout the stay and kept us updated and was extremely responsive for dropoff and pickup.”

“Byron is the best! He always takes great care of my dogs. They get plays, cuddles, and great interaction. Byron is really great at responding and is super patient if things arise. Highly recommend as a dog momma of 3!”

Tallahassee pet parents share their Rover experiences
Frankie and Daniel took good care of our two standard poodles while we were in town for our grandson’s graduation from FSU. We were concerned how our youngest poodle would get along with Atlas. They got along beautifully and Atlas gave Diesel lots of play time. Ripley got lots of cuddles and pets. Definitely would recommend if you live or visit Tallahassee.
I can’t thank Cambria enough for taking such amazing care of Sunny. Sunny is a Dachshund with special needs, he’s paraplegic due to a spinal condicion, and requires extra care, like diaper changes. Cambria handled everything with so much attention, patience, and care. She also kept me updated with daily photos and videos, just as we agreed, which gave me so much peace of mind. It’s very clear that she truly loves animals. I’m so grateful to have found someone I can fully trust with my dog and would highly recommend her to anyone! 😊

Justin did a wonderful job boarding my lil lady Luna. He always asked the right questions and kept Luna active. Justin was even able to clip Luna’s nails, which is normally a fight with her. You can tell he has a sincere kindness when it comes to animals. Luna enjoyed her time with Justin. I will definitely book with Justin in the future.
