Hi! I'm Charli, and I've been caring for animals in both a professional and personal capacity for several years. I've worked as a bather, groomer, daycare, and veterinary clinic professional for over 5 years, and have experience with all of the following animals: dogs (all sizes), cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, fish, pigs, lizards, birds, & more! I most enjoy house sitting, dog walking, and daytime care, and I am able to travel to the further parts of the Tallahassee metro area upon request. For overnight animal guest needs, I have a home in the Astoria Park area of Tallahassee with a big fenced back yard and 5 animals of my own (2 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 ferret). All of our animals are great with other pets and love to meet new friends. If needed, we can also set up a room your pet can have all to themselves.

I'm so glad I found Charli! Not only does my dog love her, but my VERY shy cat likes her, which is huge. He let her pet him within the first 5 mins of being at my home, he usually takes at least a week to warm up to someone. Charli is smart, reliable, trustworthy, and responsible. I feel completely at ease eith her looking after my special needs pets. That is honestly such a blessing, because I just don't have many people that I trust since I'm fairly new Tallahassee. Charli just house-sat for me for the first time and did an awesome job. My 4 dogs and cat loved her and were obviously well cared for. Charli dropped by before my trip to meet the pets and she was obviously happy to meet them and took in all the instructions despite have a bit of a crazy household at the time. Charli communicated consistently and sent plenty of pictures while sitting and left the house in perfect order. I hope Charli is an available when I need someone to take care of my pets, and would recommend her to anyone else.
This was my first time booking on Rover and it was the best experience. Charli did an amazing job! My dog Killua was in very good hands! I will definitely be booking again!
Charli is amazing! Our dog is a rescue with separation anxiety and she spent several days coming to our house and sitting with him until he felt comfortable approaching her. Now he looks forward to seeing her and going on walks! We are lucky to have someone as reliable and knowledgeable about animals as her to care for our dog.

Pet care is my everyday priority! My fiancée works full time from home, allowing me to devote my time to giving our pets and others' pets the care and attention they need (and deserve).

I take pet care very seriously and am very attuned to animals' body language. As a veterinary worker, I have been trained to handle any situation in a calm and collected manner. Additionally, I like to ensure proper nutrition, adequate play time and potty breaks, and down time/quiet time when pets are feeling overwhelmed.

A typical day
I love to sit in the yard with the dogs! We'll play fetch, run around, and enjoy soaking up the sun. Additionally, we have plenty of fun toys and a great, quiet neighborhood for walks.
