Aaliyah is the best cat sitter I could have asked for. She accepted my last minute request to watch my 2 cats over the weekend with no hesitation and was very communicative with me. One of my cats is very timid so he was hiding a lot and not wanting to eat but she communicated that with me and tried everything to get him to come out and eat and it eventually worked! I believe he wasn't very fond of having a stranger in his home but Aaliyah did not complain once and was still very nice to him which shows how well she works with animals. Besides that she did everything I asked for and was very pleasant to work with. Will definitely have to rebook with her!

About: What sets me apart is that I have years of real-life experience caring for my own family dogs, an English Bulldog and a Toy Poodle. Because of them, I know exactly how to handle the extra love and attention that different dogs need, from cleaning wrinkly faces to keeping small dogs safe. I am not a professional trainer, but I am great at keeping up with your dog's regular routines, like helping puppies with potty training or making sure senior dogs get their medicine on time. Most importantly, I truly love dogs and will treat your pet like a member of my own family. My schedule is highly flexible because I only have a one-hour class each day and am home for the rest of the time. This allows me to give your pet constant attention, keep up with strict potty schedules, and provide plenty of companionship throughout the day. When caring for pets in any home, I prioritize safety and strict adherence to their usual feeding, potty, and medication schedules. Because I am home almost all day, your pet will receive constant companionship, close supervision, and plenty of love in a comfortable, stress-free environment.

Natianna is AMAZING! She took care of my two kitties (senior with health issues and kitten) for a week and was so sweet to them and gave them the best care. I received detailed updates during every visit, and additional photos outside of each visit card. Wonderful and will be booking with whenever I am traveling again!

About: I am new to the business of dog walking and dog sitting, but I have been around dogs the majority of my life. Growing up my family had three dogs, and currently I have a seven year old rescue dog, named Arya, whom I had adopted in 2019. I have lived in Tallahassee for almost 8 years now, so I am very familiar with the area. Looking forward to this experience! While I used to be employed as a TA at FSU when I was a graduate student, I am currently unemployed and searching for research positions as a biologist. My days consist currently of job applications, so I hace a flexible schedule. My own dog is a mutt, mixed with pitbull and Rottweiler, so I know there is no such thing as "a bad breed." I will treat all dogs with the same love and care.

About: There’s more to pet care than just being an animal lover. It requires a degree of commitment, trustworthiness, and responsibility. When I take care of a pet, my priority is in maintaining its routine, its comfort, and overall physical and mental wellbeing (in addition to having fun of course). Your pet deserves to be cared for and treated like family, even when you’re away! In addition to having long term experience with house and pet sitting, I used to volunteer in my free time to walk dogs at the SPCA in my hometown. I have experience administering injectable medications for a diabetic cat, and oral medication for a dog. I’m a student at Florida State University, going into my third year this fall. For the summer semester, my schedule is incredibly open, so I’m looking for fun and helpful jobs to fill my time. I only take one class in the morning (9:45-11:50) and the rest are online. I will have plenty of time before and after class to provide pet care services, so do not hesitate to reach out! I aim to adhere as closely to a pet’s regular schedule as possible. I want your animal to feel comfortable and safe, and when sitting, keep the house as clean and orderly as it was left.

I am a part-time foster parent for the animal shelter and worked/volunteered there for a while, so I have experience not only dealing with varying ages of pets, but also different temperaments, sizes, and personalities! I am taking summer classes at FSU, which takes up about an hour of my day around lunch time. My schedule outside of classes is conveniently flexible and very open, so I always have plenty of time to ensure your pet is receiving the high level of care and attentiveness they deserve! About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and let’s just say they’ve all been a whole package! From our permanent ones to foster ones, old and young, breeds all over the board, they all shared the love you can only find in a dogs heart. From training puppies to teaching old dogs new tricks, spending time with such gentle souls brings a happiness I can no longer live without. They go the whole mile for us, so it’s only right we do the same for them! I’m currently in school and working part time, but still finding so much time in my days and what better way to fill it than with making new pet friends! I’ve got a short schedule with lots of extra and flexible time on my hands. Although I get a head start in making your pets comfortable within their own home, I always approach gently and only strict when needed. I’ve handled many differently tempered dogs and have gotten good at keeping a situation under control and keeping everyone involved safe is extremely important to me.

About: Hey there! I'm Aylee, your friendly neighborhood dog lover and experienced sitter! I grew up with dogs, giving me over 30 years of pet care under my belt. I'm ready to provide awesome care for your pup (or pups!)! Each dog gets personalized TLC, tailoring to their specific needs. From puppies to big barkers, I've got 'em all covered! Special attention? No sweat, I'm a pro at medicine administration and extra cuddles. My own dog is a senior gal (who recently passed) who was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder when she was very young, so I am well-versed in caring for sick pups that need special attention. During my visits and stays, your pup will get plenty of fetchin' fun, belly rubs, and ear scratches! And you'll get regular updates and adorable photos! I work my full-time job from home and have a flexible schedule. This enables me to adapt my work hours to meet the needs of you and your pets. When I pet sit in someone's home or mine, I make sure to ask for and follow any and all instructions, stick to schedules (unless the pup begs for more playtime!) and meal plans, give lots of love, follow house rules (no couch surfing for pets), and maintain a clean, tidy pet paradise.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I've been dog sitting for over a year and had my own dogs for more than 7 years. Caring for animals genuinely makes me happy, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I don't see Rover as just a job, it's more like a hobby that I really enjoy. Since I can't have a dog of my own right now, caring for other people's dogs allows me to enjoy their company and give them lots of love and attention I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Dogs are rarely left alone and can enjoy multiple walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of companionship. I live in a spacious home with a large backyard where dogs can safely play and enjoy outdoor time. Since I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home, pets receive plenty of attention throughout the day. I always follow each pet's routine and owner's instructions carefully to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while in my care ❤️🐶

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Tallahassee with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
