I’m a student at Florida State University, going into my third year this fall. For the summer semester, my schedule is incredibly open, so I’m looking for fun and helpful jobs to fill my time. I only take one class in the morning (9:45-11:50) and the rest are online. I will have plenty of time before and after class to provide pet care services, so do not hesitate to reach out!

A typical day
I love long walks/runs, playing with toys (I can play fetch forever), and I’ll provide all the love and affection they need! I can match the energy of any pet I’m spending time with. For more laid back animals, lounging around and slowed down adventures are the best.

There’s more to pet care than just being an animal lover. It requires a degree of commitment, trustworthiness, and responsibility. When I take care of a pet, my priority is in maintaining its routine, its comfort, and overall physical and mental wellbeing (in addition to having fun of course). Your pet deserves to be cared for and treated like family, even when you’re away! In addition to having long term experience with house and pet sitting, I used to volunteer in my free time to walk dogs at the SPCA in my hometown. I have experience administering injectable medications for a diabetic cat, and oral medication for a dog.

Leah has stayed with our dog many times, and we couldn’t be happier with how well she cared for her! We have a large dog who’s reactive to other dogs on walks, and Leah handled her wonderfully. We got plenty of texts with updates and pictures of her loving on our girl! In addition to taking great care of our dog, she also took excellent care of our home!
Leah is friendly, responsive to communication, and has a fine attention to detail. I have felt very comfortable leaving our pets (and our home!) in her care. She is tidy and responsible while following requests and instructions perfectly. I highly recommend Leah to care for your pets.
I can’t recommend Leah highly enough! I have a very particular kitten/young cat that is quite needy and knew when I returned home after two weeks- she played with him as he needed (which is a lot) and loved him like crazy- and she didn’t over feed him which my sitters have done before. She followed exact instructions and left my house cleaner than it was when she arrived. You’ll be lucky to have her!
