“Elaina is the absolute best! I have used her services repeatedly now, and could not be more grateful to have found her here on Rover. She is extremely accommodating, responsive, and genuinely a kind human. Someone you would want to leave your pup with, and feel very comfortable doing so! I could not recommend Elaina enough.”

About: I've had exposure to dogs big and small since I was a kid. My wife likes to say that dogs gravitate towards me, but in actuality I'm the one that can't resist showering them in affection! To this day when I visit friends I will say hi to the dog first! Every pup is a cherished member of the family and deserves to be treated with utmost respect and love. I've had the privilege of training, grooming, and playing with dogs for decades. Choose me for your pet care needs so that I can make more furbaby friends! I work remotely full-time so I have the flexibility to go for walks in the early morning, mid-afternoon, and evenings. Weekends are completely open for pet care of all kinds. I can walk, feed, and crate your pets in your home. I take all pet's needs (and owner's requests) into consideration such as how food is prepared and what stimuli to avoid to keep pets happy.

About: With 10 years of experience, I excel in dog training for all ages, from puppies to seniors, and provide personalized care to meet each pet’s unique needs. Pet care is an integral part of my routine, seamlessly blending with my daily activities. I’m dedicated to providing a nurturing and enjoyable experience for pets, ensuring they feel safe and loved. I ensure a secure and clean environment for pets in my home or yours. My focus on safety and trust guarantees that every pet receives top-notch care and comfort.

“I highly recommend Jessica! This is the second time she has watched my dogs. I have to hire someone to give my dog his meds at night if I am not around, and I trust her to do it! She is very kind and keeps you updated during the check in.”

“Paola had 2 drop in visits daily for our gryffin for 2 months. She took excellent care of him. Was very caring and attentive of him we would most definitely recommend her to anyone wanting the best pet care.”

About: Since grade school I have been taking care of my families animals. I have experience with puppies and kittens. In the past I have been done extended pet sitting for weeks at a time. My girlfriend and I currently have two young cats (Bob & Paolo). I am excited to match your fur babies energy whether that’s going on long walks or being couch potato’s together. You tell me! My girlfriend and I have recently moved to New York from Wichita, KS so she can finish up med school. Leaving my previous job behind I am currently available for what works for you! From previous pet sittings I am used to giving medication, adding raw food to kibble, & going on long walks. I took care of my sisters prehistoric 14 year old Frenchie who was very high maintenance. Just let me know what your fur baby needs!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for my entire life. I have my own dog whom I have trained and take care of. I have worked for Camp Bow Wow where I took care of dogs of all sizes. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I structure my day to include regular walks, feeding times, play sessions, and check-ins to ensure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. Whether it's early morning walks or evening cuddles, I make sure their needs come first. In my client’s home, I follow their pet’s routine closely—feeding, walking, playtime, and any special instructions like medications or training cues. I keep their space clean and safe, and I always give updates with photos and messages for peace of mind. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I provide a secure, pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, exercise, and comfort.

About: We have had animals in our house since I can remember. We have had one of our cats almost as long as I’ve been alive and we’ve had many animals through the years including dogs, cats, rats, bunnies, chickens, fish, and ferrets. I have always been good with animals, being able to sense what they need and being able to calm them down when needed. My friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets when out of town, and always come back to a happy, healthy animal. As a college student, I do not have any pets of my own right now other than my fish, and I would absolutely love to treat your pet as though they are my own and give them all the love and care in the world! I’m currently a college student who greatly misses her own pets and would love to have more animals in her life! During the summer I have much more free time on my plate and would absolutely love to fill it up with taking care of your pet!! I take very good care of my pets at home. I always make sure my dog is well taken care of and gets the attention he needs and deserves. I am always making sure everyone is taken care of properly and getting enough attention and outside time.

I have a deep and special connection with animals and I would love to share my love and experience with your pets. I work a full time Monday-Friday job, however, we can adjust the schedule that works best for us! My weekends are very flexible and I am comfortable house sitting over nights. I believe communication is the best way to ensure I can provide your pet with the best care! 🩷 I follow instructions and specifications from pet parents. During my drop-in visits, I like to provide with a 20 minute walk and 2 walks (and as many necessary potty breaks) during house sitting. I also come prepared with brushes, extra treats and other pet friendly items! 🤎💛🐶🐱

“Rebecca was reliable and caring with our cat and fed him every day, cleaned his litter box and gave him fresh water. Our cat is nervous around strangers, but though he kept his distance, he gradually trusted enough to stay in the same room while he ate. I’m sure in a few more days he would be comfortable with her. We would call Rebecca again when we need a sitter. She is kind and caring and knows a lot about cats.”

About: Hi there, I am a marketing, events, and partnerships professional with a passion for animal care. I am a certified ski instructor, swim teacher, and wilderness leader with a passion for sports and the outdoors. In my free time you’ll find me volunteering at a local animal shelters and walking dogs around prospect park for NYC Sean Casey’s rescue. I have references from families I have worked for years for, and look forward for your family and animals to join my circle of loved animals. I am currently working freelance positions that do not require me to be in person M-F. I currently work part time for a pet care company out of Westchester and reside in Brooklyn. My family home is also an option for boarding, as well as my spacious apartment. I am open to traveling to all over the Tri-state area. I have been a animal care companion for years for local families who ask me to long term/short stay pet sit ( a three week stay was my longest) and even just do stop ins to water plants if they are away with their animals on holiday. For boarding my home is pet friendly with no restrictions on furniture, and no toxic plants in reach of any curious snouts. While I do not have a fence backyard, I have a patio and two large grassy spots with a long lead tie up for supervised outside time. We are two large lots down from a main road. I am always cautious, safety first, and respectful with all animals and other owners we may come in contact with, and always follow owners lead if socialization is acceptable for each situation.

About: I’ve been handling my own pets and those of others for 30 years. I’ve been known to successfully handle any type of dogs big or small I’m currently working part time so I have great flexibility to be able to help you and your dog(s) in short notice. Playtime first of course for all dogs I have a fenced in yard, but walk my dogs multiple times a day. Depending on clients needs I’m always happy to walk anyone’s dogs

About: My mom has always been an animal person, so I've had pets my whole life. She had 14 cats at one point with a dog so no matter how much of a handful a pet can be, it's not 14 cats at once!! I'm looking to enjoy time with your pets and meet all their needs! I'm currently working part-time Sunday-Thursday, so my schedule can be inconsistent, but I'll still have plenty of time to cater to your pups! I'm great with time management and organization. I have a fully fenced-in yard and a puppified house! We have gates and pink accessories everywhere you look for our new girl puppy, Moxie! I am very respectful and will make sure to clean up after myself and your pup.

About: As a veterinary student, I am very well equipped at working with a variety of animals, and am able to provide specialized and detailed care. I am able to care for pets well in a clients home as I am very comfortable looking after many different species of animal. I have lots of experience caring for house pets, as I have owned dogs and cats my whole life!

Matthew W.
“Matthew has been a lifesaver watching my Wire Fox Terrier, Rover! He has watched him as a rambunctious puppy for three weeks while I went on my honeymoon to Maui. He had taken amazing care of him as a more mellow, but still terror terrier 5 year old as I spent a two week stint in Europe, and many other times in between. I’m so grateful to Matthew for taking excellent care of my baby in the past, and what a relief it is that I feel comfortable booking future fun trips knowing I can reach out to Matthew for pet care. Thanks so much!!!”

Hanna W.
“Hanna recently cared for my senior dog while my husband and I went on vacation. To say that I was highly anxious about leaving Peach while we went away is an understatement. Peach's brother Mario died less than a year ago, and she was having a difficult adjustment period. In addition, we had just moved to a new condo two months ago, and that was a new and difficult adjustment also, especially in light of Peach's age (almost 16 years). Hanna came very highly recommended to me by the dog walking service that I have been using for many years. I was extremely relieved and pleased by Hanna's attentive, and caring manner with Peach. She was clearly extremely experienced and knowledgeable, and was particularly sensitive to the special needs of a senior dog. Hanna is smart and easily learned Peach's routine. She sent frequent updates, photos, and videos of Peach. Having Hanna take such good care of Peach made it possible for me to enjoy a long-delayed vacation. Peach was happy, healthy, and actually spunky upon my return. I very enthusiastically recommend Hanna for any and all dog-related services. I can now look forward to future trips knowing that Peach will be happy and cared for when I'm gone.”

Danielle G.

“Danielle was great with our corgi! She was very timely and he looked so happy in the photos she shared”

Elizabeth A.

“Liz was attentive, caring, and responsible. We felt good having her visit with our cat. We would ask her again to visit in the future.”

Ned S.
“There is not one person I would trust my dog with more than Ned. I liken him to the “dog whisperer.” My own dog Charlie would actually ignore me whenever Ned was present. Ned is patient, kind, responsible and an overall great person. Those traits carry through to his attention, care and true love of animals. Not only would I recommend Ned to care for your pet, I would say you’re lucky to have him with your precious furry friends!”

“Lissette was super reliable and a great communicator. We definitely recommend her and would love for her to care for our Penny again in the future!”

Kaitlyn H.
“Kaitlyn is one of the most responsible people I have ever met, especially when it comes to taking care of animals. One time, I had to be out of town for over a month, and she took care of my pet the entire time. She updated me on any medical concerns that arose while I was away and insured my pet was taken care of until I returned. She is an amazing person and I would trust her with the care of my pets any time.”
