About: ⸻ Hi, I’m Darya — your pet’s new best friend. 🐾 With over 16 years of experience as a dog walker and pet sitter, and a background working in a veterinary clinic, I bring a deep understanding of animals and their needs. Whether it’s a playful pup, a senior cat, or a nervous rescue, I care for every pet with patience, love, and a whole lot of heart. Animals have always been a huge part of my life — they’re not just pets, they’re family. I pride myself on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment where your pets feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. Whether you need daily walks, overnight care, or just someone to keep your furry friend company, I’m here to help — with experience, kindness, and plenty of belly rubs. Let’s make tails wag and hearts happy Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life. With over 16 years of experience in pet sitting and dog walking — and a background working in a veterinary clinic — caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something I truly love. I’ve shaped my schedule around being there when your pets need me most, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or extended stays. I approach each day with patience, reliability, and a calm energy that animals respond to. Your pets’ comfort and well-being are always my top priority. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In your home, I always respect your space and stick closely to your pet’s routine — from feeding schedules and walk times to their favorite toys and nap spots. I create a calm, familiar environment so they feel secure while you’re away. I also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I offer a cozy, clean, and peaceful space where they can relax, play, and enjoy lots of one-on-one attention. I carefully introduce them to the space and tailor everything to their individual needs — whether that means quiet corners, slow-paced walks, or plenty of playtime. No matter the setting, your pet’s well-being is always my top priority.

About: You can count on: 📸 Quality photos + thoughtful visit notes 🙆♀️ Flexible and responsive communication ❤️ Experienced care for cats, dogs, chickens, turtles, fish, and even rats. I love them all! I am Cat and Dog First Aid Certified through the American Red Cross, Certified Pet Expert (CPS-DW), and an active member of Pet Sitters International (PSI). I am currently working on becoming a CPPS-Certified Professional Pet Sitter. Having grown up with pets, I understand they are members of the family. I cared for my sister’s former miniature poodle Sandy and have grown up with various breeds like chihuahuas, a dachshund. I am a proud auntie of a puppy German Shorthaired Pointer and help my siblings care for her (puppies need 100% supervision please see my availability details) . Though I do not own pets anymore due to my lifestyle and living arrangements, I miss being around them. My friends told me about Rover and I jumped right in! I offer personalized care, including daily walks and playtime. I ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared for as if it’s one of my own! As a Certified Pet Expert, I believe in using positive reinforcement instead of negative methods like e-collars or leash corrections, as they can harm trust and lead to aggression. While I'm not a dog trainer and won't suggest how to teach your dog, I'll happily follow your instructions and support your dog's training (: I work part-time at a restaurant 3–4 shifts a week 4-5 hours long each shift, and my schedule changes weekly, so feel free to reach out to see if my days off line up with your needs. I understand puppies and certain dogs need constant supervision so reach out to see when I have time off work! For house sits, I may need to step out if I’m scheduled for a shift; but drop-ins are usually easier to schedule around. I keep my availability updated, but exact times may vary a bit week to week. I'm flexible and always try to work around your pet’s needs especially now that I’m working fewer hours during the summer! For drop-ins for cats I take care of pet duties like food/water and the litter box. Then I either play with them or snuggle. I don’t mind going a bit over time to build trust, play, and spend time with them depending on their needs (: While walking your pet, I ensure they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, following their preferred pace and routine. I prioritize safety by keeping them on a leash and being mindful of their surroundings. For house sitting, I maintain your pet’s routine, providing meals, playtime, and cuddles. I make sure they feel secure and comfortable in their own home. I also handle light tasks like cleaning up after your pet, keeping the litter box tidy, and sending you regular updates on their well-being. Your pet will feel loved and well cared for while you're away!

About: Hi there! I have a degree in animal science from UC Davis circa 2023 and I'm now back to complete my Master's of Public Health -- and hopefully take care of your fur baby. I've worked as an animal welfare consultant for UCSF, as a vet assistant for vet clinics and animal shelters across Yolo County, and completed an internship at Oakland Zoo followed by some time as an educator for young kids on how to care for exotic animals. Beyond that, I have my family's own three babies: Biscuit (16 year old dog), Mooncake (5 year old cat), and Misu (1 year old cat). I'm happy to chat with you about your baby's specialized care, whether that means medication administration or extra slow walks before the Davis heat sets in. I am currently in grad school so my schedule is flexible, but I live close to campus so I can always come home to check on the babies. I always treat others' homes with the best respect I can give. My job is not only to take care of your pet to the best of my abilities but to take care of the environment they live in.

About: I have cared for dogs and cats for nearly 10 years. I have been a pet sitter, worked at dog daycares, and worked as a veterinary assistant in dog and cat clinics as well as exotic ones. I can administer medications as needed. I am currently working part time at a vet clinic, but I am free to check in on any animals multiple times daily, and spend nights with pets as well. I am comfortable handling animals and giving medications or any other treatments. I have extensive experience with dogs and cats through pet sitting and working at vet clinics.

About: I grew up around dogs, and always knew I would want one of my own. I finally adopted my beagle rescue mix, Busy, three years ago! Being a dog mom has deepened my love for all creatures and I value any time I get to spend with all types of furry friends! I have experience with puppy training, administering medications, senior care, and more :) I am a graduate student at UCD currently on summer break! My research schedule is very flexible so I would love to come care for your puppy anytime of day :) I am happy to come take your dog for a mini adventure, hang out at your house, or anything in between! If your dog would enjoy a furry friend, my dog can tag along or she can stay at home. I have experience with crate training dogs, walking/playing with reactive dogs, puppies, and elderly dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of pets ranging from dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles! Old or young I’ve done it all! Grooming, medication, no worries for me! During my time in the military I also had training with military K-9’s! So if you have a slightly more aggressive dog that may worry you for scheduling a pet sitter, I’m your guy! M-W-F (Overnight or late Evening) T-Th (Late Evening) Sat-Sun (Anytime) Please do let me at least 1-Day in advance prior to cancellation for adjustments, Thanks! I have a completely closed off section that my little babies have for their own pleasure and comfort, no interactions between them and your pet!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and even the occasional hamster and horse—animals have always been a big part of my life. I treat every pet like my own and love making sure they’re happy, safe, and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just companionship, I’m a reliable, patient sitter who’s here to give your furry friend the love and attention they deserve. I work full time Tues-Sat but I am available: tuesday-saturday: after 6:30 sunday and monday: all day Saturday, Sunday: overnight i am able to accommodate early mornings with prior notice. Let me know what your pet needs and we'll make it work! Your dog’s safety and comfort are super important to me on every walk. I stick to safe routes, and always keep dogs on-leash. I also adjust the pace and distance based on your pup’s energy and needs—whether they love a brisk walk or prefer to take it slow and sniff around. Before our first walk, I like to learn about your dog’s routine, personality, and any quirks or triggers so I can make sure they feel safe and happy! I’m all about making sure your pup gets great care and you feel totally at ease!

About: With over 20 years of dedicated pet experience, I have developed a deep understanding and profound love for animals of all kinds. My journey began with adopting my first dog, a lively mixed breed, which ignited my passion for animal welfare. Over the years, my home has been a sanctuary for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and even reptiles (upon occasion). I work from home most of the week, so I have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of other working professionals that are looking for a reliable, passionate pet sitter to take their fur babies on walks (or runs) while keeping them within their familiar environment. Unfortunately, at this time, I am unable to welcome any pets in my house. I have fur babies of my own that I do not wish to upset their home life.

About: I have been around pets my entire life. I have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I am reliable, flexible, and love all types of animals! I am about to graduate from UC Davis with a degree in Human Biology! I love being around pets and wanted to add an extra income this summer before pursuing grad school. I currently have a calico cat and a golden retriever. I love taking my dog for morning walks and cuddling with my cat at night.

About: I have 10 years of experience taking care of my own chihuahua-dachshund mix as well as dog sitting for family and friends. I can take your dog on walks, play, feed them, give them attention, and medication. I am currently not working so I am available throughout the day to feed and check up on your pet. When working, I am typically at home to feed in the morning and evening. I have a designated areas in the common areas for litter, food, and bed(s). Your pet is free to sleep where they are comfortable and used to and my roommates and I are very patient and have experience fostering cats.

About: Hi! I absolutely love spending time with animals. I have 4 years of experience taking care of and boarding cats and dogs, but I have had pet geckos and parakeets in the past so I have experience taking care of a wide range of pets. I have 1 dog and 2 cats at my childhood home— they are the sweetest, but now I’m away at college! I am responsible, reliable, and truly care about the animals I take care of. I worked for rover over the summer and it was the best time of my life. Now that I’m all settled in in college, I’m ready to start back up again! Let me know if you are looking for someone to take great care of your pets! Starting today (Nov 1) I am completely free! I was working as a nanny but the kids just started preschool! Occasionally I will babysit for friends/ neighbors, but for the most part I can give all my time to the pets I’m taking care of! Now that I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow pets, I’m only able to housesit, dog walk, and do drop in visits. I will miss boarding pets but I am still excited to take care and spend time with pets with drop in visits, walks, and housesitting:) I am very active and always have plenty of energy to play with pets or take them on walks and adventures!

About: I have volunteered at shelters all my life where I would play and walk the shelter dogs. I would also food prep and make toys I’m a full time college student and working part time as an animal care staff in a lab, so I am usually busy in the mornings. But my job allows me to be very flexible with scheduling which means more time to play and care for animals on the side! The biggest thing for me when caring for a pet is making sure they feel confident and comfortable with me. Less stress meanings happier dog.
“Alex has been amazing with our nervous and fearful German Shepherd puppy. She took her time and was very patient with our dog, offering positive reinforcement and making little steps every day. Only after a week, Nova was in love with Alex and is always happy to go on walks with her. I highly recommend Alex!”

“I hired Hanna to watch my two dogs for a week. I have two huskies that love to go on long walks and play fetch. She came to my house twice a day to provide them with food and water and a potty break. Additionally, she took them to the park to play with them daily. She was a responsible and reliable pet sitter and I would definitely hire her again!”

Devi J.
“Devi communicated well before, during, and after walking our dog; and she took great care of our dog. Thank you, Devi!”

Amreen K.
“Amreen is nothing short of caring, attentive, friendly, and amazing to my two cats when I needed them to be cared for! I would receive photos of my two cats while I was away, who were more than happy to be in her care! Placing your trust and time in Amreen conversely means that your pets will be happy and safe under her care!”

Sydney S.

“Sydney is more than reliable! She’s very responsive and thorough in her care for Anika. I will request her services again and hope she can fit Anika in her schedule.”

Olivia R.

“Olivia was responsive and wonderful. She cared for my dog so well and was super communicative.”

Olivia H.
“I have always been happy when Olivia pet/house sits for me. My dogs love her and are always happy to see her and I hear from neighbors that she does indeed take the dogs for two walks a day. I have two dogs, four cats and five chickens and she manages it all! Olivia is a kind and responsible young woman and I couldn’t recommend her more.”

Bray K.
“Bray has the best interactions with dogs I have ever seen. I have had two dogs that were very territorial to everyone else and would try and bite people, but when they met bray for the first time nothing happened at all. The reason why is because she has tactics to connect with any dog there is. I have seen her with dogs that have a history of biting or being aggressive to others, but when she arrives they act calm and collected. She is also very smart with the dogs with giving out commands. She makes a command to the dog over and over again until the dog gets it right. If you want someone that can bond with a dog immediately and take the best care of them, I would pick her over anyone else.”
Alex S.

“Alex has been amazing with our nervous and fearful German Shepherd puppy. She took her time and was very patient with our dog, offering positive reinforcement and making little steps every day. Only after a week, Nova was in love with Alex and is always happy to go on walks with her. I highly recommend Alex!”

Susannah L.

“My dog enjoyed the walk with Susannah!”

Mia H.
“I’ve had the pleasure of trusting Mia H. to care for my three dogs, and I can honestly say she is one of the most loving, responsible, and attentive pet sitters I’ve ever met. Mia has a natural way with animals — she’s gentle, patient, and always attentive to their needs. My dogs absolutely adore her, and I always feel completely at ease knowing they’re in her caring hands. Mia goes above and beyond to ensure that my pets are happy, safe, and well-loved, and her excellent communication and reliability make her an outstanding choice for pet sitting or dog walking. She genuinely cares about animals and treats them like family. I can’t recommend her enough — any pet parent would be lucky to have her caring for their furry friends!”

Isabelle M.
“I needed someone to walk my dog while I was away at a conference. It was kind of an emergency, so I appreciated Isabelle's willingness to do this on such short notice. She did a great job. 5/5 reccomend.”
