I cared for my sister’s former miniature poodle Sandy and have grown up with various breeds like chihuahuas, a dachshund. I am a proud auntie of a puppy German Shorthaired Pointer and help my siblings care for her (puppies need 100% supervision please see my availability details) . Though I do not own pets anymore due to my lifestyle and living arrangements, I miss being around them. My friends told me about Rover and I jumped right in! I offer personalized care, including daily walks and playtime. I ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared for as if it’s one of my own! As a Certified Pet Expert, I believe in using positive reinforcement instead of negative methods like e-collars or leash corrections, as they can harm trust and lead to aggression. While I'm not a dog trainer and won't suggest how to teach your dog, I'll happily follow your instructions and support your dog's training (: I work part-time at a restaurant 3–4 shifts a week 4-5 hours long each shift, and my schedule changes weekly, so feel free to reach out to see if my days off line up with your needs. I understand puppies and certain dogs need constant supervision so reach out to see when I have time off work! For house sits, I may need to step out if I’m scheduled for a shift; but drop-ins are usually easier to schedule around. I keep my availability updated, but exact times may vary a bit week to week. I'm flexible and always try to work around your pet’s needs especially now that I’m working fewer hours during the summer! For drop-ins for cats I take care of pet duties like food/water and the litter box. Then I either play with them or snuggle. I don’t mind going a bit over time to build trust, play, and spend time with them depending on their needs (: While walking your pet, I ensure they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, following their preferred pace and routine. I prioritize safety by keeping them on a leash and being mindful of their surroundings. For house sitting, I maintain your pet’s routine, providing meals, playtime, and cuddles. I make sure they feel secure and comfortable in their own home. I also handle light tasks like cleaning up after your pet, keeping the litter box tidy, and sending you regular updates on their well-being. Your pet will feel loved and well cared for while you're away!

About: Hi there! I have a degree in animal science from UC Davis circa 2023 and I'm now back to complete my Master's of Public Health -- and hopefully take care of your fur baby. I've worked as an animal welfare consultant for UCSF, as a vet assistant for vet clinics and animal shelters across Yolo County, and completed an internship at Oakland Zoo followed by some time as an educator for young kids on how to care for exotic animals. Beyond that, I have my family's own three babies: Biscuit (16 year old dog), Mooncake (5 year old cat), and Misu (1 year old cat). I'm happy to chat with you about your baby's specialized care, whether that means medication administration or extra slow walks before the Davis heat sets in. I am currently in grad school so my schedule is flexible, but I live close to campus so I can always come home to check on the babies. I always treat others' homes with the best respect I can give. My job is not only to take care of your pet to the best of my abilities but to take care of the environment they live in.

About: I have cared for dogs and cats for nearly 10 years. I have been a pet sitter, worked at dog daycares, and worked as a veterinary assistant in dog and cat clinics as well as exotic ones. I can administer medications as needed. I am currently working part time at a vet clinic, but I am free to check in on any animals multiple times daily, and spend nights with pets as well. I am comfortable handling animals and giving medications or any other treatments. I have extensive experience with dogs and cats through pet sitting and working at vet clinics.

About: I grew up around dogs, and always knew I would want one of my own. I finally adopted my beagle rescue mix, Busy, three years ago! Being a dog mom has deepened my love for all creatures and I value any time I get to spend with all types of furry friends! I have experience with puppy training, administering medications, senior care, and more :) I am a graduate student at UCD currently on summer break! During my time in the military I also had training with military K-9’s! So if you have a slightly more aggressive dog that may worry you for scheduling a pet sitter, I’m your guy! About: With over 20 years of dedicated pet experience, I have developed a deep understanding and profound love for animals of all kinds. My journey began with adopting my first dog, a lively mixed breed, which ignited my passion for animal welfare. Over the years, my home has been a sanctuary for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and even reptiles (upon occasion). I work from home most of the week, so I have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of other working professionals that are looking for a reliable, passionate pet sitter to take their fur babies on walks (or runs) while keeping them within their familiar environment. Unfortunately, at this time, I am unable to welcome any pets in my house. I have fur babies of my own that I do not wish to upset their home life.

About: I have been around pets my entire life. I have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I am reliable, flexible, and love all types of animals! About: Hi! I absolutely love spending time with animals. I have 4 years of experience taking care of and boarding cats and dogs, but I have had pet geckos and parakeets in the past so I have experience taking care of a wide range of pets. I have 1 dog and 2 cats at my childhood home— they are the sweetest, but now I’m away at college! I am responsible, reliable, and truly care about the animals I take care of. I worked for rover over the summer and it was the best time of my life. Now that I’m all settled in in college, I’m ready to start back up again! Occasionally I will babysit for friends/ neighbors, but for the most part I can give all my time to the pets I’m taking care of! Now that I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow pets, I’m only able to housesit, dog walk, and do drop in visits. I will miss boarding pets but I am still excited to take care and spend time with pets with drop in visits, walks, and housesitting:) I am very active and always have plenty of energy to play with pets or take them on walks and adventures!

About: I have volunteered at shelters all my life where I would play and walk the shelter dogs. I would also food prep and make toys I’m a full time college student and working part time as an animal care staff in a lab, so I am usually busy in the mornings. But my job allows me to be very flexible with scheduling which means more time to play and care for animals on the side! The biggest thing for me when caring for a pet is making sure they feel confident and comfortable with me. Less stress meanings happier dog.

About: I have taken care of animals all of my life! I am a proud owner of two guinea pigs and have 3 dogs back at home. I also have experience with cats. I am an Animal Science major at UC Davis, so I am very passionate about all kinds of animals! I am a student at UC Davis taking one Summer class this summer so my schedule is flexible. I am available every single weekday as well as weekends. You can count on me to take the best care of your fur babies and treat them like they were my own. I am very communicative, good with directions, and responsible. If needed, my house has a fenced backyard that is great for playtime needs!

About: I have a ton of experience working with a variety of dogs, ranging from puppies to senior, lazy to high maintenance, etc. My life revolves around my pets, and I am eager to share that passion with yours. I have a lot of experience with senior care as well-my pup requires a lot of at home treatments in her final months of life. I'm currently a PhD student, getting my degree in animal welfare, so I have relatively flexible hours. I don't have a set work schedule, so let me know what works best for you and I can likely work around that :) my day to day already revolves around my pet, and has for basically all of my adult life. I have a fenced yard, fully baby-proofed house, and pet-experienced roommates. My cat is my only current pet, and he is good with other cats and cat-friendly dogs.
