I enjoy having dogs around and am happy to give them the attention they need rather than leaving them alone for long periods of time. I will follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they can feel comfortable, safe, and at home while their family is away. My priority is always making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I provide a clean, calm, and welcoming home where dogs can relax, play, and receive plenty of attention throughout the day. I regularly care for my three-year-old grandchild, so there is a young child in the home. I understand the importance of supervising both children and pets and making sure they interact safely and appropriately. My home has a securely fenced backyard where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time and potty breaks. I do not have any pets of my own, so your dog can receive plenty of individual attention without having to share the space with other animals. I make sure doors and gates are securely closed, keep potentially harmful items out of reach, and supervise pets throughout their stay. I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and daily routines. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will treat every dog with patience, kindness, and care while making sure they feel safe and at home.

About: I’ve had dogs for most of my life and have raised my two pups from the puppy stage all the way into their senior years, so I’m very used to all the different stages and personalities that come with dogs. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, brushing, basic routines, and of course lots of love and attention. I’ve also dog sat for friends and family plenty of times, so I know how important it is to keep your pup on their normal routine and make them feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether your dog is super energetic, shy, cuddly, or just wants someone to hang out with, I’ll treat them like one of my own and send you plenty of cute updates along the way! I work a full-time office job Monday through Friday from 8 AM–5 PM. I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays, which gives me more flexibility for daytime drop-ins, potty breaks, walks, and check-ins on those days. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, I’m generally available for visits before 7 AM and after 5 PM. On Tuesdays and Fridays, I can usually accommodate morning, lunchtime, afternoon, or evening visits depending on the timing and location. My weekends are very flexible, and I’m typically available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, longer visits, and pet sitting. I know pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, so I always try my best to work around their usual feeding, potty, walk, and medication schedule. Feel free to message me with the times your pet normally needs care, and we can see what works best for both of us and your pup! I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I’ll always treat your furry baby like I would my own. I’m happy to follow any instructions you leave for feeding, walks, medications, routines, or anything else that helps your pet feel comfortable. I’ll also keep a close eye on their behavior and surroundings, make sure doors and gates are secure, and give them plenty of attention while you’re away. I’m more than happy to send pictures and little updates during each visit so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is safe, happy, and being well taken care of!

About: I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) with hands on experience in both clinical and shelter settings. I currently work at an animal shelter as a Veterinary Assistant. In addition to my veterinary training, I have volunteered for two years with Friends of Rescue Animals, assisted at PetSmart, and have volunteered with Animal Allies of Texas for over 3 years. I have experience with feeding routines, monitoring behavior/health changes, cleaning, and helping animals feel comfortable. I am confident handling pets of different ages, sizes, and temperaments. As a CVA, I’m trained to recognize signs of illness, stress, and discomfort, which allows me to provide attentive care. I currently work full-time (5 days weekly) but I am available all day Mon and Wed for any service that your pet will need. I can easily crate any animals if needed. I prioritize the safety and comfort of animals and following routines. I make sure pets always have water, are fed (according to owner's instructions), and get the exercise, playtime, and attention they need. I learn each pet's personalities, needs, and preferences when caring for them.

I can take them on walks or anything you need me to do with them. I am available almost every weekday in the early morning and evening. About: Honestly , I loved having a companion as a pet ( recently died ) && I’d love to enjoy sum company of a fur baby and meet theirs and your needs . I don’t have a job at the moment and I’m looking to make ROVER my full time Job because I love nurturing && what’s better then taking care of people fur babies 💕 Feed them , groom their fur with hair shedding , cuddle with them , play with them , walk them , comfort them , clean up after them && any other liabilities as needed .

About: I've been a foster carer for various greyhound organizations here (ATX and DFW) and in Australia. I get the hounds that are cat safe and get them used to living with cats. I'm always fostering, which is why I cannot take in more dogs for sitting, but I can do pop-ins. Before I fostered greyhounds, I used to petsit for friends' parents. I love to scritch ears, make up stupid songs for them, and play on the floor. My current pack consists of two sighthound mixes and two middle-management cats. Am I Katy or Mary? Both. The joy of going by either the first name or the nickname. You can call me Katy. The IRS can keep calling me Mary ... and please, if you're from IRS, don't call me. I am currently working from home and would love the excuse to get out and walk or, when it's really too hot, engage in play in the backyard. I am mindful of the various personalities I could encounter. I understand that not all pets want to play. Some want to chill and know that you're there. Others need to get that energy out. When doing pop ins, I would be mindful of what their humans say.

About: I have worked at Petsmart before. At Petsmart we are required to know what makes a dog comfortable while at a public place or somewhere other than home. I have watched over puppies 2 and 3 months old for my in laws a couple times now. My parents got a kitten that I helped take care of till I moved out about 10 months later. I own a chinchilla which is an exotic small animal. I’ve had her for a year. I’ve been fascinated by pets since I was a child and always do my research before taking care of an animal. I look forward to being of assistance. I fluctuate between part time and full time. I’m usually free tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays. I can schedule the time off if it’s 3 or 4 weeks in advance. I usually work mornings except for mondays, when I work evenings. I can always visit the pup or kitty during break and then spend the rest of the day with them after work. This will most likely be temporary until I can get a solid schedule here or at Home Depot. My apartment complex is very pet friendly. My building is only a few steps away from a dog park inside of the complex. The clubhouse has dog treats and I can provide as well based on age and diet. I will always ask any questions about what you would prefer for your fur baby. I have a chinchilla that stays in a cage as long as your pet is around. She is curious and will not hurt your pet even if they stick a paw in between the bars, which is hard to do anyways. My living room is a large space for any pet. I’m currently working part time, but I’m willing to do weekly stays with 2-3 weeks in advance notice. I also will require meet ups before every service in a public place. This is not going to be required for existing clients. I live in an apartment so I don’t currently own any pets, but everyone in my direct and extended family either has, or has had one that I’ve grown up with. I’m very familiar with animal routines and attributes. If something is bothering your pet, I will notice. I always keep in constant contact with whoever I petsit or help take care of for anything I may notice. Most of the time it’s things owners are already aware of, but I’ve always found it never hurts to ask and inform.
