I have a lifelong background caring for animals and have experience with dogs of all sizes as well as cats of all personalities! I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Angelo State University and my Master’s degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University (gig 'em!) which gave me a strong academic foundation in animal health, behavior, and care. I have also gained hands-on experience assisting in emergency veterinary environments and interning at the Dallas Zoo. Through this experience, I have developed the ability to read animal behavior, recognize signs of stress or illness, and safely administer medications when needed. I am especially attentive to senior pets and those who may need extra patience and care. As a cat owner myself, I am very comfortable with feline care, including litter box maintenance, administering medication, and working with both social and more independent cats.

I always take the time to build trust with each pet at their own pace, as every animal has a different comfort level. I pay close attention to body language and behavior to ensure they feel safe and respected in my care. Before each booking, I like to go over your pet’s routine, preferences, and any specific needs such as medications, feeding schedules, or behavioral tendencies. I also confirm house guidelines, off limit areas, and any additional tasks like bringing in mail or watering plants. My goal is to create a calm, consistent, and safe environment where your pets feel secure and well cared for while you are away.

Schedule
I work from home, which allows me to have a flexible daily routine and be available throughout the day for pet care! I can easily fit drop in visits and house sitting into my schedule, and I am able to provide consistent attention, check ins, and companionship. I do travel occasionally for work, so I keep my calendar updated and recommend confirming availability in advance. I am typically only able to accept bookings up to one month in advance, as that is when my schedule is fully solidified. Outside of that, I am available during both weekdays and weekends and can adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs.
