About: I have owned dogs all of my life, but have done pet sitting for cats, rabbits, birds, goats, pigs, chickens, fish and snakes in the past. My main pet sitting experience was in San Marcos, Texas while I was working at The First United Methodist Church. I did pet sitting as a way to raise funds for my 1st two missions to Mozambique in 2005 and 2006. I sat for the pastors and many members of the congregation, so I have references if needed. I most recently was the primary care giver of my elderly dachshund who passed away at 18 years of age 4 years ago, so I feel especially qualified to take care of older pets and I am comfortable administering medications. I give plenty of love, snuggles and kisses and playtime, with walks if requested. I can also give baths and do basic grooming like brushing and nail trims.

“Garrett! Thank you so much for taking Zeus for his daily walk that he really enjoys it with you! We are looking for more days with you😊”

About: I always make sure to go by the rules & routine of the owners when it comes to feedings, walks, medications, etc. If I have any questions or concerns, I contact them directly. I have taken care of a few dogs and cats ranging from a variety of my friends/family members and a few neighbors. My favorite part is cuddling and/or playing with them because that just brings me joy. I work from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible when it comes to being able to take a dog on a walk or feed them mid day. In my home, my cat has an area of his food & water as well as a separate area for his litter box. His sleeping area varies because he’s our spoiled boy. I make sure that if the pet makes any kind of mess that I clean it up right away with any cleaning supplies that are available and wash laundry if needed.

About: Hi, I’m Paula — a lifelong animal lover with professional experience and a heart for your pets! I recently moved to Houston from California, where I had the joy of caring for dogs through Rover with all five-star reviews from amazing clients. While I’m no longer offering boarding or daycare in my home, I’m now available for dog walking and drop-in visits — the same high-quality care, just in your pet’s own familiar space. With over seven years of experience in both veterinary and rescue work, I bring a calm, confident, and loving approach to every visit. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, some playtime while you’re at work, or a nice walk around the neighborhood, I’m here to help them feel seen, safe, and happy. I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds and sizes — from 5 to 175+ pounds — and am confident reading behavior, building trust, and responding to each pet’s unique needs. If you’re looking for reliable, compassionate care from someone who truly loves what they do, I’d love to meet you and your pup! I work evenings, which means I’m available for morning, midday, and early afternoon walks or drop-in visits. Whether your dog needs a potty break, playtime, a walk, or just a little love and company while you’re away, I’m happy to help. I’m flexible when it comes to your dog’s routine. If they’re used to crate time, not allowed on furniture, or have specific care instructions, I’ll make sure to stick to your preferences. On the flip side, if your dog is used to a more relaxed environment with lots of attention and affection, I can absolutely give them that, too. Whether your pup thrives on structure or is used to a little extra pampering, I’ll meet them right where they are. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to keep their routine as normal and comforting as possible. I follow your instructions closely — whether that’s feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, crate time, or playtime preferences. I know how important consistency is for pets, especially when their humans are away, so I do my best to create a calm, positive experience for them. During drop-in visits, I make sure your pet gets the attention and care they need — from refreshing water and food to a potty break, exercise, or just companionship. For dog walks, I tailor the walk to your dog’s pace, energy level, and preferences — whether that’s a leisurely sniff or a brisk stroll. I also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can feel confident and connected while I’m caring for your pet.

“Corynn took great care of my dogs while I was away. He often walked them longer than the scheduled time, he kept me updated with pictures and texts, and he even managed to socialize my very unsocial (with other dogs) golden retriever! I would definitely hire him again, his confidence with animals is matched with his care.”

“Tania is great! She does a really good job with our Dog, helps with training/obedience, and provides a lot updates on our pup, which we love! We can’t recommend Tania enough.”

“Jake does such a wonderful job with our dogs and is always so reliable! He goes above and beyond just walking the dogs. He makes sure they have water, allows them plenty of time for potty breaks, gives them their little treats, and even brings in our Amazon packages from time to time. We always appreciate his help!”

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and cared for them professionally and personally. I’m 36 and just lost my beloved 16-year-old to heart disease. Rather than replace her, I’ve chosen to open my home to cats who need a loving sitter. I’ve worked as a veterinary technician, so I’m experienced with senior cats, medications, and special needs. I’ve raised kittens from 4 weeks, fostered for rescues, and cared for both single-cat and multi-cat households. My home is pet-free (except for one cat-comfortable parakeet in a secure cage). I work from home full time, so your cat will always have company and supervision. My mission is simple: to treat your cat like my own—with patience, respect, and love. I work full time remotely from my home. Your Kitty will be supervised and kept company throughout their stay with me. Kitty will have the run of my house, A home away from home. The cat will be kept indoors but have the run of my house, I do have a secured backyard fenced with locking gate but cat's will be kept inside the home. I have multiple windows with bird feeder views :)

About: I provide reliable, attentive pet care, specializing in training puppies, senior pet care, administering medication, and ensuring pets feel safe, loved, and well-exercised while owners are away.” Caring for dogs is a natural part of my day. I love making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. Whether it’s going for a walk, playing fetch, or just giving belly rubs, I always make sure they feel happy, safe, and well-cared for. I provide a safe, loving environment for dogs, whether in my home or my client’s. I ensure they get exercise, proper meals, playtime, and plenty of affection. I follow any special instructions, maintain their routine, and make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well-cared for at all times.

“The most attentive dog sitter I've ever had! Always went above and beyond, and allowed me to have total peace of mind while away for the week! Excellent communication, very punctual, and a great attitude. Could not have had a better experience. 🙏🏼”

About: 💛🐾 I’m a proud dog mom to an amazing German Shepherd, and take daily care of a loving Chihuahua. I’ve been caring for them with love and intention for over 6 years. From daily walks and playtime at the dog park to preparing their fresh food according to specific feeding instructions. I make sure they’re happy, healthy, and well cared for. 🐾💛 🧡🐾 Beyond my own pets, I’ve also cared for dogs and cats for friends, always treating them like family. Whether it’s sticking to their routines, giving medication per given instructions, or giving extra cuddles when they miss their humans. I’m attentive, patient, and truly passionate about animals. 🐾🧡 💛🐾 I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s hands and I take that responsibility seriously. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness will always be my top priority as I would want the same for my own pets. 🐾💛 I am currently only taking part-time employment, which gives me the availability to work with taking care of pets like how I always wanted. I am available mostly from Monday through Friday at a time that fits you best. I am also available during the weekends per advanced notice. I always want to focus on making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable by following their usual routines as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I make sure to: 🐾 Follow all care instructions (feeding schedules, meds, walks, etc.) 🐾 Keep their environment clean; including food areas, water bowls, and litter boxes. 🐾 Respect their home and ensure their pet feels secure in familiar surroundings. 🐾 Give updates with photos and notes so the owner knows how their pet is doing. Above all, I treat every pet like they’re my own with patience, love, and clear communication.

About: Yes, I'm new to Rover. No, your dog will not care. Dogs don't check reviews, they check vibes. And mine? Impeccable. *Chef's kiss* My love for doggos started at the age of 7 walking my neighbor's pup, Lucky, around the neighborhood. Flash forward a whole lotta years and now I'm an emotional support human to my 4 year old pup and a foster momma for puppies (so you know I've seen some $h!T... Literally). I'm fully experienced in belly rubs, snugs, talking in cute wittle voices, and finding fur in my morning coffee. I'm also proud to announce that I got certified in pittie tail wags/whips as of last month with my last foster baby. In short, if my foster pups had thumbs, they'd give me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ across the board. 🐶 I was recently impacted by a company layoff so I have plenty of time on my hands. I can't think of a better way of spending my free time than by scooping poop 💩. I'm available at all hours of the day and night (I don't sleep much) for house sitting, check ins, walkies, and doggie photo shoots. I follow the instructions you set for me. If you want me to crate them, I will. If you want me to sleep in bed with them, I abso-freaking-lutely will. Does your pup need to go out often? I got it. Got a puppy that's still learning? Taken care of.

“María is super sweet and caring! I booked her last minute because I was running a fever. I was falling asleep yet heard her talking to nala so sweet and nicely to get nala into her leash. Nala came back in the happiest and brightest mood. Will definitely book again with Maria! ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 17 years old. I’m experienced with watching dogs up to 60 pounds. We will take long walks around the neighborhood 1-2 times a day, depending on weather. They are free to roam about my house while I’m home. I have a dog room set up in my house with plenty of beds and toys for their comfort at night. I’m currently working full time but my job is 15 min away and I am able to come home on my lunch break to check on the pups mid day. We will take morning walks before I leave for work. Most days I get off between 1-5 so we’ll have plenty of time to walk and play before bed. I also sometimes work Saturday morning until 12 I have a fenced yard and 2 small pups to keep your pups company. I have a camera in my house to keep an eye on play time when I’m moving about the house.
